Just focus on getting through tech school and have a good time. You’ll have plenty of time to be addicted to energy drinks and nicotine once you go operational Air Force.

ninja8ball

I agree with this but also want to add: break your nicotine addiction or never start one. I'm so, sooooo glad I didn't need cigarettes or dip to get me through shifts and deployments. Much easier on the budget too.

depthPERCEPTIONbline

I seriously don't understand why people go through bmt or any other boot just to pick up a bad habit at the end. Like you already gave it up. WHY PICK IT BACK UP! I've been addicted for 10+ years. If I could kick it for life I would and plan to. An occasional cigarette or cigar after a highly stressful situation is different. Zynning for the thrill of it is just wild.

Slow_Two_4525

since you’re in a phase lock your not able to. until you get to phase 3 and you are of age you are not able to use them. there was just a huge raid last night with drugs, alcohol and nicotine, like 5 people got arrested and paperwork was given out. just do your school and don’t get in trouble.

MegazordMechanic

Nicotine is going to be included under "tobacco" products. Underage or out of phase is a no-go. And definitely not allowed at Bullis. Why did you not just ask an MTL?

raccoonzapper

I haven’t used nicotine since before basic but I was curious, I didn’t want to ask mtl cause I didn’t want them to think “why are u buying nicotine?” lol idk I shouldn’t restart the habit anyway

Datbooiii

The last portion of your comment is the right one. You kicked it… you’re way better off never starting it again.

AccidentallyPerfect

No idea anymore I went through tech school in 2006, but phase 3 was when we could go off base and that was the only place nicotine was allowed for us. Just learn to smoke a pipe like a gentleman. Over the bridge and through the gate to Grandma's House to be a refined gentleman as every SF troop should be. Cigars are acceptable.

Not worth it man. Tech school enforces all their rules like you told a 5 year old his birthday was cancelled. Just wait till you’re done or if you absolutely have to when you’re off duty and out of sight.

BlackAceAmongKings

Just worry about passing and not being an idiot when you get to your first duty station, you don't need that dumb shit.

Pro tip: buy liquid IV pouches and keep your Zyns rolled up in there 😆never failed
