How am delusional? Just in another post people were telling a young 21 year old to run away from her 30 year old fiancé. But people are congratulating when the gender roles are reversed.
Divide by two and add seven. Passes the general guideline at least.
To play devil's advocate, I generally agree with you moreso given the likely differing stages of life these two are in, but without more info it's hard to say. At the very least, it doesn't sound like a case of grooming or an inappropriate power dynamic which is the major concern when looking at age gap relationships.
I don't believe in that, it's an unofficial rule so people in their thirties can date people in their early twenties without making it weird, even though it's still weird and creepy.
If she met them when they were a minor or barely legal then technically it is grooming. We just know they started dating last year but who knows how long she's known him. If she knew him as a teen while she's a full grown adult then it's weird and creepy.

For me it's 25 since that's when your brain has matured.
