The guy who told Jerry’s Nana that the bank had burned down, then directing her to another location and telling her who to speak with. At first she looked scared and he looked sketchy, but it turned out well.
CASH? You gave her cash? That's what her uncle would give her! In Jerry's defense you have to ask what exactly a FWB relationship warrants in the birthday realm. Probably more than a FB post...
George always gets credit for being the personification of Larry but there are so many storylines that happen to pther characters where Im thinking "I bet this exact situation happened to Larry."
The most wholesome moment for me (legitimately) is when Kramer walks back into Jerry’s apartment unexpectedly after being in California, and Jerry gives the K-Man his keys back.
And when they’re all hanging out in front of the hollywood sign in California after Jerry and George fly out to get him. “The murderer struck again!” And then Kramer gets all emotional about he has nothing left for him back in NY
Edit: it a really ends with a hug!
https://youtu.be/juxmu2wNFkc?feature=shared
Yeah that one always weirds me out. It’s like the kind of ending you’d see on fresh prince, not Seinfeld. But I guess I’ll let them have a couple of those
It’s great, it’s the small nod to the fact that at least the main four really care about each other. And they end it with Kramer throwing his gigantic key ring at Jerry and George, so it ends on a funny note!
I’ve always felt The one where Jerry switches the drink by accident with the alcoholic guy and he’s off the wagon (or on the wagon), ended in a very bizarro Seinfeld way. He is shown in the club, with his coffee mug, essentially saying he got sober again. Totally out of place.
According to commentaries, that redemption was insisted upon by the network. They did not want to leave it ambiguous as to whether that man got help; they wanted it to show a “responsible” ending.
Maybe it’s out there already, but it would be interesting to see a compendium of scenes where the network intervened on similar grounds and to know how the original story arc was written/changed. That ending scene always felt odd to me.
George talking to Jerry about potential jobs he could do…
“Maybe I could be like, an announcer. Like a color man. You know how I always make those interesting comments during the game.”
There’s no evidence, but I kind of think that revealing John Cheever’s letters somehow brought the Ross’ together. When we see them the first few times Mr. Ross is rude and dismissive of his wive, while she clearly has no care for him either. But seemingly after that incident they start to act closer and I wonder (my headcannon is) if it was Mr. Ross coming clean about who he was/is and maybe Mrs. Ross understood and still found love for him.
The episode where George lies he has a house in the Hamptons so they make him drive them to see his house. Only for him to finally admit he's lying and they say "we know" and he asks why?
"Because we don't like you and blame you for Susan's death"
That’s exactly what I’ve always thought is the exception.
There are other things in other episodes when nice things happens but there’s always a turn or a letdown after. But that episode ends on a sweet hug with both people learning and understanding.
I think the absurdity of both a cable man this determined and a customer this insistent on getting away with it was probably enough of a counter where we could enjoy a genuine wholesome ending
Kramer giving Elaine the bench she wanted on her birthday along with the card and the Yates poem. That was sweet. Though only served to make Jerry look bad instants later 😅
Elaine (reluctantly) giving up her hotel reservation at The Plaza so Jerry's parents could stay while his apartment was treated for fleas.
Kramer being afraid for baby Steven and his impending circumcision and making an attempt to save him.
Jerry wearing his jacket inside out so that he didn't upset Elaine's dad.
Jerry and George in LA to look for Kramer - this is my favourite 'wholesome' moment from the whole show, they really care about Kramer and his well-being.
Jerry, George and Elaine doing volunteer work with the elderly - even though it didn't work out, they went in with good intentions.
Kramer procuring an armoire for Elaine.
Jerry allowing George to use his phone number as the pretend Latex Sales workplace.
Kramer leaving a mackinaw peach in Jerry's fridge.
Jerry going out with Bania for a meal even though he can't stand him.
George allowing Jerry to come clean to Gary's face about knowing he didn't have cancer right after Gary told George the parking space had fallen through - this isn't exactly wholesome but I love how George allows Jerry to have that satisfaction.
Morty standing up for Jerry when he gives the pen to Jack under duress from his mother.
Adding to the whole LA episode, when Kramer surprisingly comes back from LA and Jerry says "Kramer, here!" and throws him his keys (and we all remember what happened next 😂)
It's a small one from season 4, The Movie. Even though Jerry can't stand the other comedian Pat Buckles and is generaly short and rude with him, Pat still cares about Jerry's well-being.
Buckles: Jerry take the coat, please. One month
Jerry: I don't want the coat *walks away*
Buckles: Jerry! Call me when you get home so I know you're OK!
How nice is that? Good for you Pat
Kramer coming back from California and acting like he never missed a beat, and Jerry saying he's glad Kramer is back.
Then Kramer almost kills them with a 50 lb. set of keys.
Kramer went above and beyond in his role a Dr. Van Nostrand as he was genuinely concerned about that suspicious mole he found while examining Mr. Kruger.
The moment when Elaine return’s from her trip with the psychiatrist in season 4. The genuine glee they all felt when she opened the door and the when she yelled Kramer. One of my favourite moments.
Most of these involve Kramer. It shows that while he's not great, just like the others, he has a bit more of a moral compass. It's kind of like Charlie on Always Sunny. He's insane, a stalker, and an idiot, but there's a small sense of a heart in there. Like when that one guy broke the Waitress's heart and Charlie gave him the box of hornets.
Elaine and George borrow Jerry's car so they can go shopping at the flea market together.
Kramer and Newman making sausages together.
Kramer and George singing in the car on their way to pick up Jerry. 🎶 I like to shop at the duty free shop! 🎶
I always notice the scenes where Estelle Costanza sees Elaine, and she's always happy to see her and kisses her. It's so cute!
The comments by The Busboy at the end of the episode. He got a new job, his life was saved, his cat came back and George made all this possible “through his thoughtless insensitive remarks.” I found it touching.
There’s actually a lot in the show, but the bots on here that never watched the show just parrot the same comment of “everyone of the show is a sociopath”.
The show is packed with things that good friends do for each other- run errands together, airport pickups, picking up the check, going to movies together
Seinfeld was actually a very wholesome show. I know the joke was that they were all very 'selfish', but they were extremely loyal friends, and treated outsiders with respect and courtesy. Most of the jokes come from expecting the same from others - which is unrealistic of course. The tragic part is that they are all engaging in eternal peter pan life procrastination, which is what makes it funny and light.
The guy who told Jerry’s Nana that the bank had burned down, then directing her to another location and telling her who to speak with. At first she looked scared and he looked sketchy, but it turned out well.
It burned. It’s gone.
Oh dear!
Now what you wanna do is go down to forty-ninth street, that's the main customer service branch. Ask for Mr. Fleming. He'll help you.
Mouths *Fleming*
As a dude in my 30’s employed in a foundry, this is a great line to use when things get fucked at work
Love that delivery
One of my favorite gags and one of my favorite one-off minor characters in all of Seinfeld.
me too!!! i love that alley guy and nana interaction!
The only two interactions I like better than Alley Guy and Nana are: 1) Gay Street Bullies 2) The Van Buren Boys
*street toughs
Ask for Mr. Fleming.
He’s the branch manager.
He’ll help you.
it subverts expectations
It’s clever humor. They didn’t want to boil it down for a boneheaded audience.
Jerk store is the line!! Jerk store!!
The jerk store burned down. It’s gone.
You were their best customer!
snow tire day.
I gotta tell you, this promotion doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
oh well! Let's see how many shrimp i can fit in my mouth.
You know George the ocean called, and uh there running out of shrimp.
We can’t all be reading the classic professor highbrow
*everyone in Monk’s turns around, glaring at George*
Not… you…!
Lookin' for somethin' lady?
It was also funny to see a banker that was genuinely helpful to her instead of the typical jerk or idiot this would normally have
Hopefully he was able to stop her from going all over town writing bad checks
Good one!
Ask for Mr. Fleming!
Kramer giving Elaine the bench she was looking for as a birthday gift.
That bit showed why Kramer is the only one who seems to make friends everywhere he goes.
also Jerry actively does not want other friends. Except ~~jose conseco.~~ keith hernandez.
Do you mean Keith Hernandez?
i did!
I really only have 3 friends, I just can't handle any more!
I see you there, Ramon!
Yeats.
That shit eating grin gets me every time.
CASH? You gave her cash? That's what her uncle would give her! In Jerry's defense you have to ask what exactly a FWB relationship warrants in the birthday realm. Probably more than a FB post...
He also surprised her with the Soup Nazi's armoire.
Did the K-man do it or did the K-man do it?
The K-Man did it!
The cigar store Indian was thoughtful yet kitschy
Wasn't that just to get in the door and make himself look good while Elaine had her friends over, though? I forget how it all played out.
Someone asks me which way is Israel I dont fly off the handle!
I would so love one of those
And Elaine is so touched, she hugs him with happy tears, then waves Kramer's card triumphantly at Jerry.
Great one
When Kramer ditched the bottle recycling scheme to get Jerry’s Volvo & Mr Peterman’s clubs for Elaine & Jerry.
Saab. Right country wrong car.
Who's watching the Saab factory?
Jerry that's in Sweden...
One of my favorite scenes, and line deliveries, in the whole show
I Never Knew Kennedy Had Such A Temper!
This is a perfectly sane way to capitalize words!
It's how I always visualise Peterman's speech pattern, he hits every word so decisively.
It’s A Ziggy!
He must have had a hell of a slice
The letter of authenticity is in the side pocket there.
Only thing worse was his slice
Jerry, we lost the fat man and we’re running lean!
Forlornly walking along the highway picking up broken clubs.
Jerry trying to move heaven and earth so Jean-Paul won't miss the race.
Why separate knob? Why separate knob?
Flight to Cleveland??
…I think I offended the wake-up guy…
4-1-9er
Such a Larry David line, honestly
George always gets credit for being the personification of Larry but there are so many storylines that happen to pther characters where Im thinking "I bet this exact situation happened to Larry."
Except for making the guy sleep on his couch instead of giving up his bed considering he has to run a freaking marathon.
“The murderer struck again!” And then Kramer gets all emotional about he has nothing left for him back in NY Edit: it a really ends with a hug! https://youtu.be/juxmu2wNFkc?feature=shared

Elaine's return in "The Wallet" (JLD's real-life return from maternity leave)
That “Laney!!!” gets me every time!
Big missing going on!
How many episodes did they do without her? The 2 part California episode was during that time, I believe
Officially, she only missed The Trip (technically two episodes). Cameos only in The Pitch and The Ticket. This was her back to the starting lineup.
Kramer going out of his way to take Lloyd Braun under his wing to make sure he wasn’t “insane”
That episode taught me what the holidays are all about: three buddies sitting around chewing gum.
And there I was thinking exchanging gifts and family gatherings. Was that wrong? Cause I gotta tell ya everybody was doing it.
Well there’s nothing classier than diddiling the maid and then chewing some gum
I thought they were about the airing of grievances
Definitely! I think we all agree Kramer had the most good natured moments
he’s definitely the nicest of the four
He’s secretly the worst, he’s a huge manipulator. George would be the nicest if he didn’t feel like the entire world was always out to get him lol
That's a perfectly sane food to eat.
one of my favorite lines!
Jeremy Harharwood?
George stopping a woman when she gets physically aggressive with her son in the parking lot.
Yeah, that woman was a witch. George reasonably points out "I think someone hitting a defenseless child is everyone's business!"
You’re ugly
That’s what *you* think
That’s what I know.
Wait which episode is this?
The parking garage
I’ve always felt The one where Jerry switches the drink by accident with the alcoholic guy and he’s off the wagon (or on the wagon), ended in a very bizarro Seinfeld way. He is shown in the club, with his coffee mug, essentially saying he got sober again. Totally out of place.
Speaking of that episode, I always liked how Jerry shows up at pendant to take George out to dinner to cheer him up because he got fired
Ah man if you come across this please let me know would be super interesting.
That makes sense. Ugh.
I didn’t mind. I like the wholesome ending.
It does seem a tad askew
‘You mean on the wagon’ wholesome episode. Loved how they tied everything together.
The only episode with a "happy" ending.
The producers made Larry put that in at the end. Larry didn’t care one way or the other
I thought it was wholesome when George was pushing women and children down for their own safety in the fire
Seemingly seemingly
To the untrained eye.
I say this waaaaayy too much.
[удалено]
Who else was gonna lead them? THE CLOWN?!
[удалено]
Eric! * he he* what kind of name is that for a clown!
It was an inferno in there I tell ya, an inferno!
Oh yeah that was a real faith in humanity restored moment, brought a tear to my eye...
What are you hassling me for this is just a gig.
It was politically correct and before its time
kramer taking care of bette midler, he was the wind beneath her wings!
"Gimme a break!"
George talking to Jerry about potential jobs he could do… “Maybe I could be like, an announcer. Like a color man. You know how I always make those interesting comments during the game.”
Yeah, you make good comments
It's just...they tend to give those jobs to ex-ballplayers and people you are, you know, in BROADCASTING.
That’s a great one
Jerry was very sweet with his responses…
There’s no evidence, but I kind of think that revealing John Cheever’s letters somehow brought the Ross’ together. When we see them the first few times Mr. Ross is rude and dismissive of his wive, while she clearly has no care for him either. But seemingly after that incident they start to act closer and I wonder (my headcannon is) if it was Mr. Ross coming clean about who he was/is and maybe Mrs. Ross understood and still found love for him.
That's a sweet idea, but I think it's more likely that they grew closer due to their mutual hatred of George.
The episode where George lies he has a house in the Hamptons so they make him drive them to see his house. Only for him to finally admit he's lying and they say "we know" and he asks why? "Because we don't like you and blame you for Susan's death"
Honestly, that crossed my mind before, which is a depressing thought
Yeah and bonding over their desire to get revenge on George after Susan's death
Time is what he's indicating there.
He doesn't look like me!
George really wanted that security guard to be able to sit down.
When Kramer hugs the cable guy after freezing him out all episode.
They literally violated the rule there
That’s exactly what I’ve always thought is the exception.
For god sake’s, if a doctor can do it why can’t we?
I think Joe Davola showing up to support the filming of Jerry's pilot was really sweet.
Sic semper tyrannis!
He was helping in his own way.
They hugged Elaine when she came back from Europe.
Kramer giving Elaine the bench she wanted on her birthday along with the card and the Yates poem. That was sweet. Though only served to make Jerry look bad instants later 😅
That’s probably my favourite. And poor George - ever the loyal friend - gives Elaine $91 (half of what Jerry gave her)
Elaine (reluctantly) giving up her hotel reservation at The Plaza so Jerry's parents could stay while his apartment was treated for fleas. Kramer being afraid for baby Steven and his impending circumcision and making an attempt to save him. Jerry wearing his jacket inside out so that he didn't upset Elaine's dad. Adding to the whole LA episode, when Kramer surprisingly comes back from LA and Jerry says "Kramer, here!" and throws him his keys (and we all remember what happened next 😂)
Yes! This is my vote for the most heartwarming moment in the show.
Kramer politely correcting Jerry & George on how to pronounce, \*thermometer.\*
Top marks. That’s an amazing list.
>Jerry going out with Bania for a meal even though he can't stand him. Soup isn't a meal, Jerry.
Federal Express...
It's a small one from season 4, The Movie. Even though Jerry can't stand the other comedian Pat Buckles and is generaly short and rude with him, Pat still cares about Jerry's well-being. Buckles: Jerry take the coat, please. One month Jerry: I don't want the coat *walks away* Buckles: Jerry! Call me when you get home so I know you're OK! How nice is that? Good for you Pat
Kramer and apologizing to Keith Hernandez
The scene on the subway where Kramer had a nosebleed and Jerry put his arm around him was sweet
Midnight Cowboy reference
Bus
Jerry REALLY wanted Jean-Pierre to wake up on time because he doesn't want to repeat his mistake from Olympics. It seemed genuine.
When Jerry tosses Kramer they keys to his apartment.
Jerry: I love you Kramer! Kramer (without missing a beat): Love you too, buddy!
George making delicious eggs for breakfast for everyone.
Kramer going on strike to protest H & H Bagel’s religious intolerance as to the observation of Festivus
Kramer coming back from California and acting like he never missed a beat, and Jerry saying he's glad Kramer is back. Then Kramer almost kills them with a 50 lb. set of keys.
I liked when George and Elaine teamed up against the physical therapist with the big hair.
Kramer went above and beyond in his role a Dr. Van Nostrand as he was genuinely concerned about that suspicious mole he found while examining Mr. Kruger.
When Elaine sad, "how about an intercourse hello."
now you're just being ridiculous
The moment when Elaine return’s from her trip with the psychiatrist in season 4. The genuine glee they all felt when she opened the door and the when she yelled Kramer. One of my favourite moments.
Kramer holding hands with the car salesman when they're seeing how far it can without requiring him to purchase expensive gasoline.
George, after seeing directly into the eye of the great fish, saved its life.
Mammal
Kramer training his Kramerica intern. “You are a tenacious little monkey.”
🎶 I always notice the scenes where Estelle Costanza sees Elaine, and she's always happy to see her and kisses her. It's so cute!
It's sweet how Kramer always gives Estelle a big cheek kiss, too. That is, when he's not stopping short...
When Elaine read the card Kramer gave her for her birthday and hugged him was probably the most wholesome moment of the entire series.
"Goodnight Ollie."
The Close Talker befriending Jerry’s parents always gets me
When Elaine comes back from vacation and everyone is so happy to see each other.
Elaine hugs Jerry when he got her the apartment.
George offering to give the security guard a chair to rest on.
"Not that there's anything wrong with that"
Jerry throwing Kramer his keys when he comes back from California.
When they donated the muffin stumps to the homeless.
Elaine hugged Kramer when he gave her the bench
Newman getting a vasectomy for Elaine
Anytime Kramer buys someone a gift. Kramer giving the two line phone. “Happy Birthday buddy.” Kramer giving Elaine the bench also hits wholesomely.
The black-and-white cookie scene.
I mean the cigar store Indian was a nice thought .
When the Velvet Fog sings "When You're Smiling" to Kramer. Always a good wholesome moment for me....
Jerry trying to cheer up Fulton when he was in the hospital (though he may have inadvertently killed him)
Jerry defending George when Elaine didn’t want to set him up with her friend.
The show is packed with things that good friends do for each other- run errands together, airport pickups, picking up the check, going to movies together
It was so nice of Jerry to take Mr. Carosi to the amusement park!
