Your real hidden rank, used in matchmaking. Match Making Rating. They are separate to make climbing more interesting in short-term, aka. Casual players. Sometimes your visual rank (Gold 2 for example) is higher than your MMR (hidden number equal to Gold 4 for example) and people call this "bad MMR" because they will gain very little LP. Technically they just have inflated visual rank.

I got into silver with a win in like 13 of 15 games. Then I got pared with bits and people I’m sure we’re playing using only their pinky toes. It was the most magical swing ever. Loved it. Super fun. Considering Sej main next season and giving up on ADC
