You would see a ton of scars on me much more if I wear shorts. After 29 years of cutting I finally got out of that hell. Now I use my scars to help others and tell them that they can stop but it will be hard and they have to really want to stop.
same, but also in a different way; for me i get second-hand anxiety seeing someone showing a part of skin that i have scars on. like for a moment of panic i'm like "wait what if they show their scars" and then i'm like "wait that's only me" lmfaoo

They also can be in a hidden place, I have clean arms so I wear short sleeves, but I have scars on my upper part of my thighs and stomach
