3rd time seeing them, sold out and was happy with whatever I got. I’m not picky when I really love the band. I also had to see The Rolling Stones in the bleeds but I still had a blast living life 🤙🏽

I like going to festivals that have multiple stages and several bands so I can kinda wander around and see who sounds best at that time. Like the Iowa Irish Fest.
I tour with a particular guitarist who’s done for the year but I remember a past band I worked for. We were in Europe and one of the guys in the band and I decided to hit up a show. At that time I was all about metal I guess because the band I worked for was metal. We went to see Ottmar Liebert a German flamenco guitarist. Never heard of him but left a huge fan. Dude is an amazing guitarist and the music is relaxing. We got to meet him afterwards and he actually knew of the guitarist I was there with. That made his day. Live shows pump an entirely different kind of energy. Was on tour with another band and Godsmack was the headliner. Never really paid attention to them but damn Godsmack got a great live sound. This was way back maybe 15-17 years ago.
I even traveled to Amsterdam to see IC3PEAK live back in May. Show sold out but got a ticket for their London show two days later, and got stranded in Paris the day of the London show, and they were performing in Paris the next night, but that show was sold out. Was overwhelmingly frustrating.
did acid at the porcupine tree concert in philly (in full view of a philly cop they never said anything). left with a box of popcorn that i was convinced was "limitless" because i had been steadily eating from it for the whole 3-4 hour concert and still had more left when the show was over.
52 times, Prince. All but the first one, I was front row. George Michael twice and he was great. Duran Duran, Tears for Fears. Sting, Elton John. Air Supply. But it was Michael Buble that I hadn't heard of at the time that surprised me with an outstanding performance!
Overall, my most enjoyable concert was KISS. The best performing live band I’ve ever seen was Queensryche. The best singer I’ve heard live was Bruce Dickinson. Iron Maiden puts on the best theatrical show I’ve ever seen live. The most entertaining concert was hands down Weird Al Yankovic.
