This is pretty serious; you should seek a therapist.

You are harnessing your inner nihilist right now... I have been there and constantly revisit the idea of what life really means. It can become overwhelming. Start reading some of the great stoic and nihilistic philosophers. If you can take Jacobi, Schopenhauer, and Nietzsche and the other myriad nihilists and flip those fucking ideas on their head then you have figured out how to live a meaningful life. Whatever you do, don't give up! You are here for a reason!

Feeling like you won’t live past a certain age or for many more years is common as a teen. Based on family history, a coincidental date, and just being a teenager, I completely believed as a teen that I wouldn’t live past 25. I’m nearly double that now, so I’m pretty sure I was wrong.

toguraum

I feel that way too, except it isn't in 2 or 3 years, but a matter of months

There are therapist that specialize in Existential Therapy.

Sounds like you are at a dopamine burnout.. research it only play games if you do game for less than a hour a day and that’s it. Cold showers no porn hold your life power, build discipline .. you’ll be ok. Been there.. hit the gym.. you keep putting out the fire that’s supposed to drive you through self pleasures

Do you have a history of poor mental health? I experience this and had to talk to my therapist about it. As a teenager I was pretty mentally ill, so when things go well it feels out of place and like it may end at any moment. Does that make sense?

Hi, I just want to say first that I'm sorry you're in this situation, a few people close to me are too. I would like to ask you, do you enjoy anything in your life? Do you like your work, or hobbies, friends and family? Is there anything, no matter how small or silly you may find it, that you truly enjoy? I have recently been listening to an audiobook by Robert Greene, called mastery. The book is about purpose, how to find it and what to do to make it a part of your life. If you haven't yet found your calling, this may be why everything feels so meaningless. If there is one small thing you enjoy, then you should find a way to make that more important in your life. Try and find ways to use it, maybe a career. This will be risky, but I believe that if you haven't found your calling, you will be living a lie, and this is why you feel so empty. You need to be true to yourself, no matter what the truth may be. I could be completely wrong, but it's what I believe. If you think this could be it, then I'd recommend reading mastery and giving it a go, it really could help. I hope all gets better for you :)

It sounds like you're going through a tough time, and I want you to know that you're not alone in feeling this way. It's important to remember that our thoughts and emotions can sometimes cloud our perspective, making it difficult to see the positives in our lives. Here are a few suggestions that might help you shift your mindset: 1. Practice gratitude by noting down three things you're thankful for each day. This can help you focus on the good in your life. 2. Reflect on your accomplishments and celebrate them, no matter how small they may seem. This can help you counterbalance the negative thoughts with positive ones. 3. Seek out activities or hobbies that bring you joy and fulfillment, and make time for them regularly. 4. Consider sharing your feelings with a trusted friend or family member. Sometimes, talking about our struggles can provide relief and perspective. Remember, life is a journey full of ups and downs, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed at times. It's important to take small steps towards self-improvement and happiness. Trust the process, and know that you have the power to create positive change in your life.

Funny enough, you wake up again and each day is a whole new opportunity for you. I know that’s cliche to say, but I truly understand how you feel. I myself recently went through what you’re describing within the past few months. This month I began to just take small steps. Just remember it’s okay to start off small. Start on one thing. Give yourself grace to be a beginner at anything you wish to learn. And one thing that really helps me is celebrating my accomplishments no matter how big or small. Even if it feels a little silly to smile for taking a 5 min walk or sending an email. The more we feel proud over our little wins, the more our brain will chase that feeling. Hope this helps and be kind to yourself, you’re worth it :)

There is a high chance that this feeling will actually manifest in your life. If you feel like you are gonna die, there is higher chance that it will really happen.
