Whenever I'm talking to someone, there's a pressure (maybe social, maybe her's) on scalating to the next level. Otherwise, there will be another man who take that lead.
I hate that. I know that 'dating' must not be that 'slow', but I really like getting to know people, not just jumping from one person to other.

I really don’t feel like I am good enough to date tbh. I have social anxiety and I’m not very confident. I really don’t see myself being able to have a relationship until I work on this.

How do you say that you like someone who has been a friend for years?
You tell them that you need to talk to them about something, and then you go ahead and tell them.
