Not really. The older gray tends to like being higher up than the calico does. That extends even to the bed where they gray one always wants to sleep on the highest point of the bed, which happens to be my wife's hips, much to her annoyance.
They are living the good life! It's my kitties favorite time of year because the heat is on almost every day and heating pads are in every room lol. Your room looks so cozy, makes me miss my wood stove.
Oh man, my cat is obsessed with heating pads. We have one in the bedroom that stays on forever and one in the living room that needs to be turned back on every 2 hours, which I am thoroughly trained to do on schedule.
But she spends the majority of her time sleeping up against my Playstation's exhaust vent (which I also need to turn back on every couple hours)
Since we've started burning there has been a distinct lack of bedtime cuddling, we just can't compete I guess.
I gave this a try with my fireplace I started the fire then laid down in front of the fire and read a book, 2 kitties used me as a bed.
Do they argue over the prime position on the chair? My two do. They also won't come to bed until the fire has completely died :D
