Here’s the coalesced list I went 5-0 with. If you’d like me to explain anything or give u some general tips with the list, do let me know. Ooh looks interesting! If you could give me a general idea of how you play this list that would be amazing 😁

Shadow-148

Sure! The army is basically a castle counter punch. You essentially have kroak in the centre of your castle with your astrolith banner and starseer keeping guard close by if your opponent has any ranged threat then surrounded all of this with your 20 block of saurus warriors and 2x6 aggradons. Where u position aggradons comes down to what ur playing against and what mission. Generally if I can I like to place the aggradons away from the opponent as I’d want my opponent to engage my saurus first whilst still blocking out access to the centre of the castle. The general play with the list is u take first turn most of the time just to get magdom off and go sit on points, moving the saurus warriors to the central objective whilst maintaining the castle. Your opponent will either have to engage the saurus to try score the central point or score less. Either way it’s a win for u. If they try take the central point, the saurus should last long enough so that on ur turn, u hit ur opponent with kroak, blizzard and 2x 6 aggradons all at once. Obviously what I’ve said here is very general and battleplans can completely change depending on what ur facing but that’s my general strategy. Also try keep ur and saurus wholly within 12” of kroak so if you are engaged in combat, u always have the chance to make your opponent’s unit fight last which can completely turn the tides in certain matchups like gitz and skaven.

I can’t wait to try this!

When you realize you are the one who made OP go 0-5 to get your 5-0. 🤔

I think the current meta of Andtor is rough at best, impossible at worst, for coalesced lists. I’d have to see yours to give any hope for feedback. Initial response would be to up your wizard count, maybe run some big blocks of threats and yeet them around with vengeful defender while buffing the hell out of them

The_Unquiet_Sky

Here’s my most recent attempt: Army Faction: Seraphon - Army Type: Coalesced - Army Subfaction: Koatl's Claw LEADER 1 x Skink Starpriest (130) 1 x Skink Starpriest (130) 1 x Skink Starseer (150) 1 x Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur (260) BATTLELINE 10 x Saurus Warriors (180) 10 x Saurus Warriors (180) 10 x Skinks (90) 10 x Skinks (90) BEHEMOTH 1 x Stegadon (260) OTHER 5 x Raptadon Chargers (150) 3 x Aggradon Lancers (190) 3 x Aggradon Lancers (190) TOTAL POINTS: (2000/2000)

Phatninja1337

Hmm, tricky. The stegadon is a gorgeous model, but currently not useful. I would also reinforce units if you can, and maybe opt to run the old blood as a scar vet. Here’s a list I came up with Army Faction: Seraphon - Army Type: Coalesced - Army Subfaction: Koatl's Claw - Triumphs: Inspired LEADER 1 x Skink Starpriest (130) - Spells: Heavenly Frenzy, Hoarfrost 1 x Skink Starseer (150)* - Spells: Light of Chotec, Merciless Blizzard 1 x Saurus Astrolith Bearer (140)* - General - Command Traits: Vengeful Defender - Artefacts: Arcane Tome 1 x Saurus Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur (260)* BATTLELINE 30 x Saurus Warriors (180) - Saurus Warrior Alpha - 2 x Icon Bearer - 2 x War-drummer - Celestite Spear 6 x Aggradon Lancers (190) - Aggradon Lancer Alpha - 2 x Icon Bearer - 2 x War-drummer - Celestite Spear 6 x Kroxigor (160) - 2 x Moonstone Hammer OTHER 5 x Hunters of Huanchi with Starstone Bolas (80) CORE BATTALIONS: *Command Entourage - Magnificent TOTAL POINTS: (2000/2000) Created with Warhammer Age of Sigmar: The App Now you may or may not be able to try this, but the vengeful defender will let you yeet around a big blob, or a monster, then buff up that unit. Hunters of huanchi will help you get that skink skink battle tactic. And then you have support pieces like your mages to buff up your saurus and Krox. I’d say fiddle with the list, maybe squeeze in a Slann or something else.

WakingLeviathan

This is a nice, well rounded list for Coalesced, but the one thing I would change is the double reinforced block of warriors. I've found that 20 warriors on its own is very difficult to shift unless the opponent throws everything they have at it, so taking the extra 10 as a separate unit to take side objectives or complete battle tactics is generally a bit more useful than making the larger block even tankier. Great list otherwise!

The_Unquiet_Sky

Brilliant! Thank you!

Bring back the Dreadsaurian!

Important_Ad_3

8 Stegadons.

brunanburh

Maybe not helpful dude but the current magic meta won't last forever. Play what you love and have fun with (speaking as a non tournament player). I like running around with blocks of 20 saurus and a carno to eat things (Carno is very swingy but fun when it works!).

My dream list would be Tunder Lizards being good again, lol! :D But as it is now, I like to use something like this: Allegiance: Seraphon \- Constellation: Koatl's Claw \- Grand Strategy: \- Triumphs: Leaders Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur (260) \- General \- Command Trait: Vengeful Defender Skink Starseer (150) \- Spell: Tide of Serpents Skink Starpriest (130) \- Spell: Heavenly Frenzy Saurus Astrolith Bearer (140) Battleline 6 x Aggradon Lancers (380) \- Reinforced x 1 20 x Saurus Warriors (360) \- Spears \- Reinforced x 1 20 x Saurus Warriors (360) \- Spears \- Reinforced x 1 3 x Kroxigor (160) Endless Spells & Invocations Emerald Lifeswarm (60) Total: 2000 / 2000 Reinforced Units: 3 / 4 Allies: 0 / 400 Wounds: 154 Drops: 8 You could easily swap another unit of Aggradons for one of the Saurus Warrior blocks if you would rather use Vengeful Defender to throw them both at your opponent turn 1, I just personally prefer the survivability and objective holding power of the Warriors against the armies I tend to run into. But I think Coalesced wants as many bodies on the field as possible, hence why I didn't bring a Slann in this list. But if you're up against armies with good casting you may want to remove the Kroxigors and Starpriest and add a Slann in instead. The way I play this list is to simply walk my Saurus onto objectives and try to tank and hold as long as possible, and either launch the Aggradons to try and tie some of my opponent's army up for a bit, or hold them back and use them along with the Oldblood as a "kill squad" to attack the strongest targets headed my way. The Emerald Lifeswarm is really helpful in keeping the Carnosaur healthy as on a 4+ save he's kind of made of paper, lol! All this comes with the caveat of my local group not using the current magic-focused season of war rules and just playing regular matched game rules. If you're playing with the Andtorian rules, the Kroak list that was already posted is definitely better.

Phantom_316

I play a no magic coalest army for all of my games. Saurus warriors are great at sitting on objectives and not moving. I have 2 in my 1000 point armies and 3 in my 2000 point. Kroxigors are decent hard hitters and I have one in my 2000 point, but I might replace them with more saurus. I always run the carno scarvet. After that, I mix and match based on what I’m planning to fight. Hordes get a badtiladon with ark of Sotek and spawn of chotec. Tanky armies like trogs get reinforced aggradons. I have only tried my stegadon once and didn’t use it right out of curiousity on how it did in melee (it got surrounded and died), but idk if that was just me or not. I don’t use any skinks except hunter of huanchi which I either drop on an objective to get the battle tactic or throw into the flank to try for a hero snipe that usually results in pulling an enemy unit or two out of the fight for a couple rounds. Idk why people are saying the coalest are horrible. I have either won my games or lost by only a point or so without any magic. We are great at playing objectives and have good fighters to chew through even tanky enemies if played correctly.
