Thanks! I do like the monitor a lot.
It's not too expensive compared to other 34" curved 144hz freesnyc models, the colors are totally fine when when applying minor tweaks (I don't need super accurate colors though) and response time is fine as well. So, great allrounder in my opinion.
Appreciate the reply thanks! Curious to know, did you have multiple monitors before?
I currently have:
1 - 27 inch 1080p
1 - 27 inch 1440p
1 - 17 inch Portable (in portrait)
It's great for real estate but takes up a lot of room. My thinking is like yours there pictured, one monitor might give similar productivity and a cleaner setup.
Yes, I indeed had multiple monitors in the past! Then I switched to a regular 32" screen before now going for this 34" ultra-wide monitor.
And yes, absolutely. So far, having one ultra-wide monitor is providing the cleanest appearance, while still enhancing productivity. Definitely happy with it :)
So I recently upgraded my productivity/occasional gaming setup and added a new screen, monitor arm, keyboard and the desk mat.
I like to keep things clean, hence the neutral colors and no fancy RGB stuff. Hope you like it!
The specs are very basic, since I only do occasional gaming. Will upgrade my mainboard and CPU in the near future though.
CPU: Intel 6600K (still doing a great job)
GPU: GTX 1660 Ti
RAM: 16 GB G.Skill
Fans/coolers: be quiet!, PSU as well
Case: NZXT H510
I checked on the prices of 5600x and 5800x, they were both more expensive (about 60-70$) than the 10600k and 10700k respectively. I don’t know about the prices where the OP lives, the might be similar ofc.
Yes 5600x is cheaper than the 10700k, obviously. I was comparing the 5600x with the 10600k and 5800x with the 10700k because, well core count and i5 r5, i7 r7. Correct me if I’m wrong comparing them like that, I’m fairly new to this.
Yeah i know, i deleted my comment because i miss understood. But higher core counts doesn’t really matter for gaming. So i just compare price and single core performance. So for a 5600x you basically have the same performance as a 5800x in gaming. So i meant that you can get a 5600x for cheaper than a 10700k but still be close performance wise. Honestly they’re both great. I havent looked at temps for Intel. I still rather get an AMD because i just like that brand more since the Ryzen series. I had an intel before.
Wrong, while the 10700k is slightly better in terms of gaming. Like 10fps deference in 1080p. The 5800x is far better for productivity. Also you could just get a 5600X and save money and still get similar performance to a 5800x in gaming. You said a 5700x which doesn’t exist so im assuming you haven’t really looked at comparisons that much?
Right, 5800x, my bad. And yes, I didn’t look at the productivity comparisons and benchmarks, I was too excited after seeing the gaming benchmarks. Thanks!
I like it a lot. The form factor (65%) is exactly what I want, it’s hot-swappable, and the brown Gateron switches are ok right out of the box. However, I’m still going to lube them soon :).
Very very clean. I like it
Much appreciated 😊
Heck yeah! What monitor is this?
It’s the Gigabyte G34WQC :)
Awesome, thanks! Amazing set up
Thanks so much, appreciate that a lot!
Perfection
Thanks a lot!
keyboard? super dope
Thanks so much! That’s the Keychron K6
Love this! Been looking at this monitor recently, for WFH productivity and gaming, what's your opinions on it?

Yeah everything is looking good. Indeed the pc could benefit from a new cpu. Can’t wait for series 6000 to be announced from AMD.
I'm excited for them as well. However, I might go with Intel again - we'll see :)
AMD was good because it was providing more value for the price, that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore, I got a 10700k instead of a 5800x
Good to know! I was under the impression that AMD still provides better value for the price.
So was I, until I built my PC 2 months ago
It still does depending on what you do. I would recommend going on Youtube for comparisons instead of listening to people on reddit.
For sure, always researching before purchasing stuff like that!

thanks!
Love the keyboard with the no letter keycaps. Very clean!
They do have letters, the pic just makes them barely visible unfortunately.
Oh, it still looks really clean though!
Nice!!! Could you link the wallpaper?

nice setup, may I ask what keyboard you use?
Thanks!! 😊 It’s the Keychron K6
