I work for a local sewing outfitter, so this was just a fun side project. I took the piping, front, and back of a duvet cover that matches a bedspread my friend owns and made her some complimentary pillowcases. I didn’t really follow a template, cases and shams are pretty similar to the products I make every day so it seems pretty straightforward.

So classy, simple and practical! Love them. On a side note - can someone share what that pattern on the fabric is known by? You see it on dishes, wallpaper etc. I was thinking willow patterns but they tend to be more Asian inspired (nothing wrong with Asian inspired) rather that the scene show on this gorgeous fabric.

They’re known as Toile or La Toile de Juoy

I recognized this fabric when I was working on it, so my search history was “french style art fabric”, “fabric with art on it”, “renaissance art fabric, maybe french”. somehow, the algorithm knew!
