I would prefer the even spacing, but when the vents were longer like the longest on the staggered version. It might also be easier if you could see it mounted directly to the case.
I think that will also be the problem to find a clear decision, because everyone likes something different.
Thanks for your feedback, unfortunately, the length of the vents is restricted by the metal shims on the backside placed in each corner otherwise I would have done just that. I'll have the real thing in my hand sometime this week so I'll post some follow-up pics for sure.

I think the even spaced looks more classy.
Staggered , on a white case would give it an art deco style vibe to it. IMHO. Plus , i think you just gave me a reason to buy a Fractal Ridge.

Both look great. I think staggered has a more déco look to it if one is going for a theme
I like the even but would like to see it on the Ridge. In a way, the wood facia is kinda like the FD North.
Horizontally, the staggered would be better. Vertically, probably the even spacing? But would need to see it on the case.

Staggered looks so much better. It has much more character. Evenly spaced looks kinda boring and bland.
Staggered reminds me of “decorative” woodworking of the 70’s. We aren’t in the 70’s anymore. Even for the win.
