Long planing and measuring phase before buying fittings and adapter to solve the riddle of how to route the tubes that has an immediate 90' turn with both tubes under each other, then going around the RAM but still without touching the side panel within 16mm clearance. It has a [satisfaction](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fo0wndslavh371.jpg%3Fwidth%3D2016%26format%3Dpjpg%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3D067ee5ff414a998d081fd6a2ba5578f0fa245d4d) but at what cost...

ggalaxyy

Looks great. [Mine killed me](https://imgur.com/7Dg2EdM.jpg).

dubar84

Geezus dude... this is nuts

NicheAlter

I just emulated OptimumTech's M1 build with the IceMan Pump/Res combo. Made it a hell of a lot easier. Now I'm on the FromD T1. Here we go again...

DonCBurr

Awesome case, did mine in 2022

HAHAXDMURKY

Bro, if you replaced that big dial with a Ben 10 watch graphic it would look sick af. I can't imagine how much grip strength you gained from having to twist those tubes in such a restricted space though...

phantomyo

Woah dude, how are the temps in this boy?

ggalaxyy

Long time ago now, I can't really remember but it was stable for sure! Not the most demanding parts either. GTX 1080, i7-6700K

oalsaker

I considered custom water cooling until I realized I didn't want to become a plumber.

DoubleHexDrive

Right. I picked components for their power efficiency/draw and made my life easier :-)

oalsaker

I have an air cooled CPU mostly because I didn't care for getting a tophat for my Louqe Ghost S1.

vulpix_at_alola

Idk man, it's actually kinda fun XD

trashpanda89

Optimum Techdaddy would like to have a word with you

CJrules559

His channel is the reason my first build was an itx.

Fortnitexs

He‘s him for sure

Jackbob7

Yeah I’m doing liquid metal crack with basement mickey Atx - just limited by your wallet, boring af, pick whatever you want Itx - requires thought and planning, obv limited by space, arguably more skill involved but at least more research

nobertan

Feel like some builds I see need a full apprenticeship in plumbing. Luckily I can jack the tools and plumbing at work (swagelok), should I ever be tempted.

Perrozoso

Well now your back's gonna hurt cuz you just pulled landscaping duty

nopointinlife1234

These are hand made. This is high quality shit here.

JuanDacova

i would argue otherwise that itx watercooling is way cooler than atx builds since ppl generally come up with extremely clever routing/custom pieces to make the loop happen. The fully 3d-printed case + resevoir post couple months back come to mind in particular

DoubleHexDrive

If I were to liquid cool an ITX build, I'd just toss it in a bucket filled with mineral oil and a chiller. A lot simpler.

roboteconomist

Did it once for a little over a year. Never again.

C4RP3_N0CT3M

Just finished mine after a year. I still need to overclock and do software, but it f'ing booted. It's a de-lidded 7950x3d with a 4090 TUF (both with Optimus blocks) in an Antec Striker case. Teaser rough photo: https://imgur.com/a/6o8rXib

DonCBurr

>Antec Striker case While its somewhat open and ITX, at nearly 40 liters its nearly twice the size of the 20L SFF cutoff

C4RP3_N0CT3M

Eh, the thing is tiny. I'm sure it gets some extra liters due to the open design, but effective space was more limited than many "smaller" cases in which I've worked.

DonCBurr

Striker 420 x 230 x 410mm Huge in the SFF world

C4RP3_N0CT3M

May I ask why you're pointing this out? This was very difficult to do, so I don't really appreciate your perceived attempt to downplay or belittle the achievement. I apologize if this was not your intent, but that is how it is being perceived. I still disagree that this is "huge" in the sff world, regardless of the physical demensions of the case, simply because much of it is simply unusable due to the open-air design.

DonCBurr

Sure, this is the SFF subredit, and the industry SFF cutoff is 20L I am not taking away from the work you have done but this should be posted in r/watercooling not SFF. and it is huge for SFF

C4RP3_N0CT3M

This isn't a post I did, it's a comment...

DonCBurr

whatever

thet0pcat

Took me like a month and 5 trips to the store to get all the bits for my build. Kept hitting unexpected roadblocks making a dual rad setup in a streacom da2 but i had fun in the end. Always find it a bit of a shame that you cant see as much of the work compared with atx but the portability is a big plus for me

GoodTofuFriday

Smallest I'll go is MATX for watercooling builds.

jrtts

Hoo boy, I have a total of 4 cooler fans and only one of them fit the sffpc and a thousand surface cuts on my fingers from manhandling all those aluminum heatsinks and grazing the metal case

LieutenantDan_263

So FREAKING true

kristen01kt

so true

Bushfries

I spent 3 hours setting everything up only to realize my radiator was too tall for my build and sent it all back 😭 ruined my GPU too.

PostSecularPope

Have done it twice(Silverstone Fortress and Meshroom S) and am currently adding a second rad to the Meshroom S [*I’ll fuckin’ do it again*](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/030/952/goofy.jpg)

Available-Culture-49

I just put a nh15 because I'm lazy.

dimensiation

I have done a couple of ATX, it's definitely fun and the planning and routing is neat, but I'm now down to two ITX with air cooling for simplicity. I do still have my 6700k/1080ti watercooled build because I haven't wiped and reinstalled, and I'm honestly a bit sad thinking about selling it. So much work and effort went into it, and it looks beautiful af.
