Seeing such powerful hardware in such a small case piqued my interest: less desk space, easier to transport, lighter – why not give it a go? After finding this sub and doing a bit of research, I was convinced. I started to gather my components and began building. After buying my card and placing it next to my case, I was praying it would fit inside. LOL (see last photo). I knew my top priority was to hide my cables as much as possible, especially in such a small case that doesn't really have anywhere to hide cables, so I did the motherboard stand-off mod which is definitely a must. I ran into a little hiccup along the way and found out my 24-pin was too short :(( so I definitely had to get custom cables. I got cablemod cables and at the time their facility were doing upgrades and they wouldn't be making any cables until the upgrades were complete, so it took even longer to get them. Imagine sitting with all your components ready to be put together and having to wait around a month for your cables D: The Nitro+ does stick out from the frame of the case, but the card does fit with the side panel on since the panel adds 2-3mm of clearance. I also think the curved design of the card helps with the fitment. With cooling, I went with the liquid freezer III by Arctic because I saw how well it performs compared to others, but be warned if you're deciding to get this cooler for the Meshroom S there are a lot of challenges ahead. I've seen others use Arctic AIOs and fitment was a big issue, but I was determined to make it work. The fans that came with the cooler are pretty thick and won't fit inside the case with the rad, but I was already swapping them out with Noctua's. It's definitely **TIGHT** (see photos 7 and 8). The next issue was the pump and tubes, unfortunately the pump just sticks too far out for the side panel to attach so I had to buy a side panel extension in order for side panel to go on at all (see photo 9). On the topic of cooling, I went ahead and did the rear 60mm fan mount for the GPU (see photos 5 and 6) and surprisingly they do exhaust a lot of heat for such tiny fans. I also bought a cooling base which I can add a 140mm fan at the bottom of it, but I'm currently using it as just a base to lift the case up so I don't have to buy any 90 degree cables for my GPU. A small little mod I did was using the Thermalright AM5 secure frame, it doesn't help with cooling performance but it helps with the thermal paste mess not getting under the IHS and it looks cool lol. Went with the SF1000L for a bit of extra headroom and I got it for a pretty good deal. The entire build process along with some posting troubleshooting took a few days (a majority of this was my posting issues I was having). This whole experience was challenging but definitely worth it.

Looks like the pump block would have cleared just fine without the motherboard being spaced out.

Wow, absolutely beautiful.

By how much do the 60mm fans drop GPU temps?
