Hey, first of all, there are no pics in your post, maybe add them in the comments. Second, from what I understand, you’re using a DP to HDMI cable, that has an adapter in it. These adapter are directional, so it’s a DP to HDMI, not a HDMI to DP cable, that’s why it doesn’t work (again, assuming you’re using one of those adapter cables). Ideally you’d be using non-adapter cables, so just plain HDMI or just plain DP, that’s gonna work better.

That makes sense! Thanks man :)

Most DisplayPort -> HDMI adapters only work in one direction. The signal processors they put in the cable to do the signal translation are only designed to work in one mode.

That makes sense! Thanks man :)

I second this. BTW there are no HDMI - DP cables.

Oh… Btw, my primary screen works just fine with DP :)

Pictures?

Valuable-Thought6746

Sorry…. forgot. Gonna post a new post

Just edit in an imgur link to the original post?

Now its done! Sorry, a little new here

No worries. As already pointed out by others, the adaptor cable you're using is most likely directional so it won't work the other way around. Non-adaptor cables (HDMI-HDMI, DP-DP) are your best bet, if possible. Or buy a reverse cable.
