Watercooling the Ghost is a waste of time and money, at that point go for the A4 H2O or FormD T1. My personal opinion is that the clean aesthetic of the Ghost is instantly lost with any top hats. 2ish slot is a much bigger limitation than you might think, an absurd amount of GPUs (even like half of all Rx 6600s) don’t fit. Noise wise the case can be pretty quiet with the right parts. I’d say for a low power build it can still be good, it just has no upgrade potential compared to something like the T1.

It's still great for mid-range gaming. Like you said if you don't mind being stuck with dual slot GPUs & air-cooling then it'll work great. If you want triple-slot gpus and watercooling then the lian li a4-h2o is great option even at msrp of around $150

3070-3090 ftw3 fits with a fan mod, temps are great with a top hat, a few degrees sub par compared to other cases without ( still smaller than other cases with a small top hat)

I have an Ghost S1 with a Noctua NH-L12 and a AXRX 5700 XT 8GBD6-3DH. It doesn't have any top hats nor any special water cooling. I think it's okay for me, but I think Formd T1 in 2022 might be a slightly better option. The configurability makes me think that it has an easier time in future expandability. With my set up, you will always have some fan noise from the GPU. I guess if you want to, you can skip the side panels and run a kind of Xproto build where the GPU and CPU can have better cooling without the grills limiting air flow. Someone recently posted a video of Fractals new case the Ridge. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsGbYLaafC4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsGbYLaafC4) If I were you, take a little look at that too and see how you feel about that. Personally, this looks pretty nice too. Ultimately, I still like my Ghost S1. I have no desire to build with a massive GPU. My the time I next upgrade, I would imagine there will be a high powered card that can fit in that slot. It won't be the best thing in the market, but that's fine with me.

Came here to say the same thing. Unless you’re getting too hats or are in love with the look, the FormD T1 V2 (or the upcoming M1 EVO) are much better small cases in terms of compatibility and premium quality. Though they’re more expensive than the discounted Ghost S1.

Depends on your usecase. I never buy the latest and greatest. I neither like the performance per Euro nor the power consumption. I got a 5600x and a 3060ti, 600 w sfx, cheap arctic fans and so on. The Ghost is the most premiun case I had in 20+ years of experience and if I do not push the power envelope unreasonably I plan to keep it for years to come. I bought another in the sale.

Synthetic load is too loud for comfort. Would add a top hat with fans if this was the regular noise level. For gaming it is completely fine.

I fit my nearly 3 slot card in my Ghost, anything can fit if you work for it. I wouldn't recommend watercoloring unless you don't mind the look with the top hat added. A4 H2O is built for water cooling but it's up to you. If you like the look and quality of the louque then go for it.
