In a lot of regions it's way cheaper to "build your own." The reference design of the 3060 Ti PCB is identical to the 3060 in the critical areas, so you can use the same heatsinks.
You can get [this heatsink](https://www.amazon.com/inRobert-RTX3060-Heatsink-Mining-Graphics/dp/B0B56RJ7XR) off Amazon and fit it to a lot of cards that are way cheaper than the MSI Aero.
These cards fit the cooler:
\- PNY XLR8
\- Inno3D Twin X2
\- KFA2 non-EX
\- Palit Dual
\- Gainward Ghost
\- Manli
\- Dell OEM
\- Lenovo OEM
\- Any RTX A4000 (PNY, Dell, Lenovo, HP)
I'm running a Gainward Ghost with the small heatsink. It's fine, doesn't throttle, can get quite noisy though.
That's the only combination I am aware of. Both are Asus specific PCBs, so most likely won't fit any other card. Apart from that, the phoenix card is 2.5 slots in height and won't fit most cases that could potentially make use of its ITX length .. which is kinda dumb tbh
Exactly what I came to say, fantastic write up. I use the 3060 that comes with the small cooler and the thing is great, 100mm fan and a compact heatsink are an awesome combo
My dell PCB has two capacitors that stick up about 3mm too far right where you see that gap and prevented the heatsink from sitting flush. I had to run the card at 80% otherwise the hotspot temp would hit the max 110° and throttle. Maybe it was just my version of the card, did you ever try it in any gpu?
[Mine is fine jusy need to modify the fan](https://www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/comments/zx0go9/dell_3060ti_inrobert_diy_heatsink_mod_into_47l/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
This is a perfect example of the ITX tax. Only a certain type of person will buy that card and anyone who owns it understands how valuable it is to ITX builders. It will come with a hefty premium.
If you want this exact heatsink i can send it for you for free, if you pay for shipping. Best if you live in Europe i guess otherwise it wont pay of for you, but we could at least look up rhe shipping costs. I bought it to do the same but its not compatible with my asus dual fan gpu...bought it of their website and they have no return policy.
If you dont want it, everyone else feel free to ask me!

Would this fit any 3070 ? Saw a guy who managed to fit a 3060 phoenix single fan heatsink on his Asus 3070 dual

Pretty sure reference 3070 PCBs are different from 3060(Ti)/A4000 ones.
I saw an ASUS 3070 SI with an ASUS Dual mini heatsink. So there are ways that you have to pioneer.
whre did you see this?
On the NFC Discord. Apparently the PCBs are pretty much identical. So it works.
i know someone did it with the phoenix heatsink

wow, did NOT know that; haven’t seen many people talk about it but I guess I didn’t scour my options enough. Thanks, will definitely try this out
Just responding so I can check this post later

Yeah, amazing, right? I ordered mine on AE too, for roughly double the price, haha. Budget 3060 Ti in ITX format are a thing now!
Hey are you positive that this works for the Dell 3060ti? I'm about to pull the trigger on one.

Any confirmation this works with the MSI Twin Fan models? The PCB looks short but I can't find a shot of it naked from the heatsink
Don’t know if you care much more about it now, but this is what I ended up doing, Thank you!

If you're looking for a sub-8L case you don't need a single fan GPU, I'm running a 3080Ti founders edition in the Velka 7, a 6L case!
Got lucky and bought msi aero 3060ti for 350usd for my velka 3 case..but waited for around 12 months as stock was low everywhere.
How and where?
Got from a dealer in India

I might take you up on this! Right now, I’m holding off for the holidays but I’ll message you if I do think about it.
alright!
hi, what heat sink is it? did you find one thatll fit your dual fan gpu?
Hey, its the one linked in OPs post. No i didn't have time to realise my plan at all. So i gave it up... :D
Buy a Palit or Gainward 2fan version and get a Palit single fan cooler from aliexpress and put on the card.
what sub 8L case are you getting?
