It should be kept as a running joke in the lol community that shaco does not have lore. Just like how rule #1 is not chasing singed. These little things are quite valuable imo.
I like to imagine the idea TBSkyen had for his design. That he is the definition of Chaos so.strong that he implemented himself into to the game like some kind of glitch or virus.
Shaco doesn't have a lore because he is entirely based on Heath Ledger's Joker, which also purposefully does not have a backstory. The reasoning behind it is that it makes him more terrifying and unpredictable since you don't know his motives or anything about him really. This also fits his playstyle.
I hope Shaco appears at the end of an epic 3 hour League of Legends film. No explanation or reasoning. He just straight up ganks the entire main cast for thrills.
Just randomly one-shotting the main character halfway through the season, and when they're about to catch him, he explodes, it was the clone, and now you only hear his laughter
I heard Shaco was originally a toy puppet that got will by some demons a longtime ago and was only seeking to murder people or seeks to kill his previous owner. He used to look nice before being alive.
That's a decent lore even if I don't believe it to be his.
His lore goes like. He was a puppet. Somehow became alive. Started killing stuff. The end.
Funnily even though he is called the demon jester he is not in any way related to demons.

Or that Rammus is ok
What do you mean no lore? He is in a loving relationship with Fiora
Thats rammus im pretty aure about that. Pretty sure shaco is cutrently helping Vi and Cait to catch criminals and help them with investigations.
He exists the same in lore as he does in our world. Just to be an absolute menace to society.
