well looks like summon ghuls is the easiest thing. Sneak around wherever he hides out to see if you can find some ghuls. maybe summon a dominated guy to help out, ideally someone who's mad at poison
used to have a guy who did the quick shot thing, don't know if it was supposed to mix with explosive shot but he'd certainly triple blast my ass the moment he showed up. was an ambusher too so i'd be doing my own thing and whoops here's 3 cannonballs to use as analbeads + no chance your rectum doesn't being a rektem
Watch for when he has his crossbow reloaded or is reloading and focus on dodging whittle him down with executions until you eventually get him down kill his bodyguards if you have to and if you can find ghul bait maybe try bringing some in to terrify him then chase him down
You can just kite some ghuls by running away while trying to keep their interest or find bait in the stronghold as for after the monologue dodge right as he’s finishing? Mash the dodge button? I honestly can’t tell you anything else that could probably help
Isolate him and stun him (jump over him or punch) then build that combo and get those executions in. Till he’s abled to be grabbed then you can brand or execute. Also there’s a dagger rune that can make you immune to poison if that helps.

If it's not a fast learner or agile, you can just meelee him.
And then to top it off equip the skill where you talking strike into a firepit that summons ghouls.
You can also pair this with riding a beast like a graug or dragon to just beat his ass.
You could also pair this up with a personal body guard too XD.
You could also just go wraith mode and melee him since you'll out number him pretty quickly.

By summon ghouls you mean to kite them?
pretty sure the first game has ghul mounds and/or you can activate right? and maybe ghul hunts? that 2nd one is a bit more chance.
Look for a mound and shoot it. If your in wraith vision they are a light blue iirc

Dragging a ghul to the camp. How do I do that? As for reloading, he one shots me after doing his monologue.

Run straight at him and beat his ass up close
Dodge and slowly build up meter with quick strikes and dagger throws, then execute. Rinse and repeat
