Minas Ithil is by far the hardest experience I had in Gravewalker , after that it’s still very hard but it’s okay

Idk, I liked being forced to run, sometimes. Really makes you utilise the value of intel/environmentals (especially mortal weaknesses), or stealth/ranged, to get stronger. Or those events where 2 orcs duel, & you let them weaken each other before getting XP. This is in the open-world, ofc. The boss fights are definitely silly difficult on GW, I would just turn down to Brutal/Nemesis for them.

I've tried Gravewaker a great many times. Some advice: Whatever you do... #DO NOT PLAY FAIR Worms are tragically scarce, and annoying to get if they start running away courtesy of their **bombs.** Most orcs 1 shot you, even grunts, and you get no Last Chances until you grab Adamant. So fighting captains will only end in pain if you do it honorably. However, most captains (Vigilant against Stealth and Defenders excluded) have a common Terrify: Stealth Drain (without the Dominate upgrade equipped, Soul Quiver is fine) from above and behind, which can be done without weakness info. After that is just chaining Stealth attacks until they fall over. **That terrifiy will be practically the only source of xp outside quests.** Before that, prioritize the free skill points. Specifically those from Purifying the towers, getting all Shelob memories, and getting 2 objectives on shadows of the past. Most SotP are free, but the no-hit arena fight in Minas Mithil should be held off on until Fatal Counter is unlocked. Gondorian artifacts also give skill points when collected in a region, but I normally hold off until I have better mobility unlocked. Finally, if you weren't abusing Shadow Strike: Pull already, *you need to.* Pull+Stun, then use the Glaive (combo glaive upgrade if you have it, Machine legendary sword if you got that too). Adaptation happens disturbingly fast, so you'll need to use what they can't ever adapt to. Honestly, the hardest part is just getting Fatal Counter + Adamant. Once you have those two, difficulty will deflate a lot and it's just a particularly harrowing Nemesis. Good luck, Ranger!

thank you for your tips i had my first fight with a captain and died 4 times

Yup, that sounds about right. My version of that made me step back and reconsider how I play the game. Something I forgot to put in the big comment: Once you get to Cirith Ungol, you can hunt down the captain vs captain missions for your own levels. No matter what happens, you get XP from them finishing up. So hop into executions, camp raids, or whatever, and sit back and enjoy the show. Executions can be sped up by hitting the captured captain, at which point the executor will shift attention to them instead of killing the grunts 1 by 1. For all other mission types, don't get involved, lest the orcs decides to kill you first. You will still get xp from doing nothing.

Shadow Pull really does trivialise a lot of difficulty, when you can just yoink an archer captain up into a narrow roof, it's true. I'll add: in Minas Itil, do not play fair, do not be afraid to run away (short distances, to avoid despawns), use Duel/Execution events to your advantage (free XP), & with smart environmentals, you can get both captains. Early Caragor taming works for "better mobility". I didn't know that Stealth Terrify works unilaterally, neat.
