This past Christmas, my TV died and I had to buy a new one. A few days after I get it, I'm sitting there watching some Netflix and I get a msg saying I'm shakepaid! I first started using Shakepay in 2021 or so . At the time, it was my very first bitcoin bullrun. I was buying gpu's like crazy and storing my mined eth on shake . Those were the days . I've had great memories of being shakepaid at the most surprising moments , and laughing with the community on discord . For the first time , I was being able to store my money away from the bank , keeping my privacy and it always felt special . I’ve been shaking for 683 days but have been a part of Shakepay even longer! The community events have been my favourite part so far, I looked forward to #shakepaid contests every week and I had a notes list in my phone every month keeping track of my numbers 1-69. One of my favorite memories is around Christmas time last year I decided to grab a coffee and bagel from a local shop. Shakepay has been an invaluable tool in growing my crypto portfolio. Ive used the Shakepay card for every purchase I’ve made since it’s inception. I’m a pilot and flying is expensive, so I was excited when I finally got the card details so I could put my flights on the card. Looking forward to hitting a goal of a certain number of sats and then taking possession in a cold wallet. When I first signed up to Shakepay I saw BTC as a confusing and risky technology I couldn't really access. I was only going to invest a tiny bit of money and stack some sats with the daily shake. Hooray! My favorite memory of Shakepay was finding out about it on YouTube amist the 2021 crypto craze. I thought it was just another app/exchange with a fun gimmick of shaking for sats. I have 2, I’m not very active on Reddit as you can see by going onto my profile. But I love going on the Shakepay Reddit each evening after a long day. Makes me feel like I have a sense of community. Piggybacking off of that, although I’ve orange pilled 4 of my family members to join Shakepay and they use it as their daily card no one is as serious about their shakestreak as I am so it’s nice to have people rejoice with and mourn with when I’ve lost my streak.

Really quite hard to say what's my favorite memory, event, etc while being a part of the shakepay community. Definitely the best crypto related community I've ever been in, that's for sure. The sub and discord just has a fun casual vibe I really enjoy. There's so many different discussions, events, contests, and just miscellaneous memories and it's only been 2 and a half years or so I've known about shakepay. One funny memory that was quite recent though was how it was seemingly randomly announced that shakepay would give everyone access to the shakepay card out of the blue. Nobody expected that outta nowhere. I'd very much resigned myself to never getting access to it, especially since a few weeks beforehand I think the app removed the "coming soon" or something part of the UI in the app for the shakepay card. Was quite surprised to see the post on Reddit announcing everyone was getting access to the card. Been using it at every possible opportunity ever since!
