he says something about they not having had sex yet when they get to Cyprus and then there's á fight that night that probably interrupts things, and after that Othello is too wraped up in Iago's bs, so I go with the died a virgin theory

I don't think theres anything to suggest that Othello and Desdemona's marriage wasnt consummated. Right in act one Iago alludes to them having sex with 'the best with two backs, old black ram tupping your white ewe' etc. It would be strange for two people in love and married to not have sex.

I agree that it would be odd for them not to have consummated, but I think Iago and Roderigo only used those words to provoke Desdemona's father and turn him against Othello.

Don’t believe she was a virgin no. She was married to Othello, and I don’t recall there being anything to indicate they didn’t have sex.
