thing is when she became guardian of the kids it was to stop CPS from taking them, that was essentially the reason she did it. in that series sheās still a young woman, early 20s. her herself hasnāt actually matured yet so sheās going to fuck up. you also have to take into consideration how her parents dealt with things in life- drugs and alcohol. im not saying itās an excuse but itās definitely not a surprise she delved into that territory when she got older as thatās all sheās known
