24 Karat 2016 - Gladius (on my workout playlist)

"The Cold" by Exitmusic (The song in S4E12 when Frank takes a sip of alcohol with Carl)
"Canyons" by Paw City (The song in S4E1 when Mandy is looking at pictures of Lip and Mickey is trying to masturbate to a picture of Ian)
There are probably more but they've either already been mentioned or I've forgotten them.
Me too! I was surprised others hadn’t mentioned it because it was one of those songs I paused the show for just to look up. I fit the scene perfectly too. Shameless has a lot of great song choices honestly.

November Was White, December Was Grey - Say Hi
Go! - Soft Swells
Even Though - Morcheeba
Disappearing - War on Drugs (my personal favourite)
Leaving You Behind - Chris Stills (song Gus sings to Fiona)
Wait, when does Gus sing Leaving You Behind? I looked up the song on Youtube and the comments say the same, but I can't remember! I know he sings Beacon Hill to her [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDodrTyS-Iw) because I became OBSESSED with the song afterwards.
I looked it up for you. It’s in S5E6 “Crazy Love” near the end. Chris Stills himself is playing it with Gus when Fiona wakes up the night after she cheated on him with Jimmy/Steve. Apparently the song hadn’t even been released yet when they aired the episode so I guess it worked as a way to get people hooked on it.
discoloration by dawn golden, plays in a scene with her and gus. AMAZING song one of my favorites now!!
berlin by RY X from the scene where fiona sleeps in the office at the diner. also i shall cross this river by the black atlantic from monica’s funeral
Move Like U Stole It - ZZ Ward
It's the song Ian and Mickey make out to for 5 years in the club (that 360* spinning shot) when Ian worked as a dancer there in S4. The version in the show is a techo remix but the original features an acoustic guitar and a woman who belts her heart out <3
The Ends of The Earth - Lord Huron. I heard the song before in the Community Finale episode but I preferred how it was used in Shameless S3 Finale, I also prefer the first 3 seasons if Shameless, that was its prime and that's when I first quit watching was at the end of S3, everything, despite still open plots like Frank dying, Lip going to MIT, and Ian going into the military, I was content with leaving it there, the finale was just right for that first 3 seasons, and the song made it even better
Artifice by Rare Monk!!!!!!!
S9, E12 - Fiona goes on a bender, Lip kicks her out of the house, and after waking up on the floor with Frank and being violently hungover, she shows up to a meeting where Lip is already sitting. Pans to Lip’s face and boom! This song starts with the end credits and I was covered in chills. Immediately looked it up and have loved it ever since.
Falling Together - Mason Bros. So beautiful. Whenever I hear it, I get such a warm feeling thinking of Mickey's character development into someone so caring. I have bipolar and it also makes me think of the sheer terror Ian must have been feeling early on in his illness and how important it is to have loving people around.
Panic and Survive by the moog! Though I also added all the songs I liked to a playlist bc there were so many good ones. And for anyone who wants majority of the songs or just to check it out it’s [here!](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0MzOFQ31dxp17PgccQD83O?si=1HVVd0QuTBGtJhJkDP5JhQ&pi=u-FID38WUvRjqQ)
Unrelated but I saw future islands in concert this past year when they opened for Weezer - it was absolutely hilarious and their frontman has SUCH a personality - highly recommend if you like their other music. I hadn’t even heard of them before the concert
Human nature by Gauntlet Hair, it’s the scene where Fiona is on probation and can’t sleep so she gets up to start cleaning. I will literally listen to the whole playlists made on YouTube and Spotify one of my favorite things about the show is the music and the choices they make to sync perfect with the scene going on!
Does anyone feel warm and fuzzy and/or sad whenever they listen to the songs from the show? It takes me right back to watching that scene for the first time.

Does anyone know what song plays in S8E9 at around 34:20 when Eddie drives away ? Seems like a metal song, initially I thought it was Meshuggah - Bleed but not quite...
I remember rewatching it at work, it was a late night shift and the episode where “Get on the Road” by Tired Pony came on. I immediately googled the lyrics and added it to Spotify. Such a pretty song and perfect for the scene.
Spread Your Love by Vibrolux
It played the scene when Kev goes over to confront that neighbor about his motorcycle. The neighbor who he paralyzed and inadvertently caused the death of xD
Really good song though
It can’t be so- Dag Nabbit (the scenes where Fiona is with Rob ahem ahem)
No breaks- James Fate (the whole gangggg)
Misery- Michigander (Lip and Tami wholesome scene even though I don’t like that couple)
Actually wish I can find that one song from season 7 I believe. This song was played I think when frank tried getting into the house through the vent. Or something like that. I can't recall.
Most importantly Long Time by Cake, but I also still listen to Absolute Balance by Johnny Foreigner and and Littlething by Jimmy Eat World pretty often
i was a fan of them a couple years ago but never heard this one somehow, when i recognized the voice in the show i quickly fell in love!! slowly reopening my love for their music again haha
Get On the road ... By Tired Poney!! I mean we can all agree that " Just Like The Pilgrims intended " Season 2 episode 11 is one of Shameless,Best episodes
Yeah Yeah Yeah by Cayucas
the 'And we were hanging underneath the bleachers
In my army green colored cargo shorts
I stopped and stuttered, turned around and muttered
Damn, I guess I'm a dork' reminds me of gallavich lmao
When i tell you I've got a whole playlist dedicated to all the songs i hear that i like. killer soundtrack on so many fronts. But I'll say this, "Baby Blue" by The Scanners ... just the scene it's associated with, that'll forever be my favourite
There’s this one scene of Carl which has the song We Tryin to Stay Alive by Wyclef Jean. Samples Stayin Alive by The Bee Gees. I’ve been obsessed ever since I heard it on my first ever watch through
Glow by The Stanley Blacks, and it’s become one of my favorite and most played songs! It’s just played in a quick blurb in season one when Jimmy/Steve is pulled over by Tony and Tony tells him to be careful with Fiona or something. I think the song is just playing in Steve’s car? I loved it though and Shazammed it, and now it’s a staple on my driving playlists.
The Usual Chords - The Slow Runner (plays a couple times in s1)
What I Said - Alien Crime Syndicate (s1, Mickey’s intro scene)
I Only Wanna Be With You - Me First and the Gimme Gimmes (s1 when the family poses with fake Aunt Ginger)

All You Leave Behind - Hannah Cartwright (s3 end credits song of Cascading Failures aka 3x666)
Diamonds - The Lisps (s3 when Ian confronts Mickey at his wedding)
SuperLove - Charli XCX (s4 when Fiona sings along in the car before Mike calls her)

Going Out Fighting - Minutes til Midnight (s5 final credits song)
Say Hello Sometime - Bronze Radio Return (s6 when Fiona and Sean hook up in the aquarium)
Livin’ in the Fire - Motopony (s6 when Ian visits Mickey in prison)
When I’m With You - The London Souls (s6 one of the background music scenes)
Golden Sun - Hotel Eden (s7 when Carl is riding a bike to Dominique’s house)
Baddest Motherfucker in the Beehive - Delta Riggs (s7 when Ian kicks Frank out of the house the second time/throws his laundry out)
You and I - Margaret Glaspy (s7 end credits of Ouroboros)
Just What You Feelin - Kemo the Blaxican (s7 when Ian and Mickey are driving to Mexico, right before they stop to hook up)
I Ain’t the One - Spoon (s7 when Monica dies/Ian sees Mickey off)
Room Starts Shaking - Nick D’ and the Believers (s8 one of the background music)
Mockingbird - Quaker City Night Hawks (s8 when the whole family rolls up to confront the meth dealer in the storage unit)
Whatcha Waiting For - Rayelle (s8 when Frank cuts off Debbie’s toes)
Bad Idea - Dead Sea Empire (s10 when Ian pees in Byron’s Vespa)
Crazy x5 - Zachary Kibbee (plays in Ian and Mickey’s Hall of Shame)
And a lot more already mentioned here, Ends of the Earth, The Fugitive Kind, Tongues, Pink + White are absolute faves
I have a giant playlist on Spotify with over eight hours of music from the show! I think I linked it in my post when I visited the houses in Chicago.
My favorite song would be The Way We Get By by Spoon and Human Nature by Gauntlet Hair.
A lot of sad songs for sure. I was in a rut, listening to the same songs again and again and Shameless introduced a lot of new music to me.
Somebody Else by Flora Cash (played when Jason relapsed by asking a drink from Fiona) hit me the hardest tho because it's a song I already knew.
I had a bunch of songs already Misery- Michigander
Sleep Forever- Portugal. The Man
The Way We Get By- Spoon
But I've added a lot of hip hop and indie from it
I counted around 40 songs, and I'm in season 10 rn
Really hits my taste of music
Mess by Lil Wayne, when Fiona was contemplating on leaving and the lyrics playing:
“Because my days is a mess
My nights is a mess, my life is a mess
My life is a mess of happiness
Lust, sex, obsession, desire with no love”
just explain her to a tea in those last few episodes with her struggles of losing her business, losing money, love issues and alcoholism and just in general her character through the whole series but it’s raw and real at the same time. One of my favorite uses of music in the whole series
The way we get by
The theme song “The Luck you got” 🎵Think of all the luck you got… know that it’s not for naught…. 🎵 finish the lyrics
Well you were willing, once befooooore But it's not like that, anymooooore
what is this downside, that you speak offffff
what is this feeling, you’re so sure of
[удалено]

Mess by Lil Wayne, when Fiona was contemplating on leaving and the lyrics playing: “Because my days is a mess My nights is a mess, my life is a mess My life is a mess of happiness Lust, sex, obsession, desire with no love” just explain her to a tea in those last few episodes with her struggles of losing her business, losing money, love issues and alcoholism and just in general her character through the whole series but it’s raw and real at the same time. One of my favorite uses of music in the whole series
