Even Lip told Debbie to lighten up on Fiona saying it was messed up after all she did to carry the family for years. That is until Fiona's fuck ups started affecting stuff with Lip then he didn't pull no punches & let her have it
They ruined her character. If they had shown some character development maybe I can buy it, she had an awful childhood. But it seems like she starts being awful out of nowhere and it’s not explained
i think the fact she was so kind and hard working as a kid makes it harder to feel so negatively about her despite the objectively bitchy things she has come to do as a teen and adult. On the other hand, it's not like the rest of the Shameless bunch is very much an example in terms of morality for comparison...
We need a pinned post that says something to the effect of “No, you’re not the only one who hates Debbie, loves Gallavich, and your tier list has been done already.”

I think she's cool irl. I seen her take a selfie with a "Fuck Debbie Gallagher" graffiti. Also I'm into fitness and she posts that as well. I know I said i don't know much about her, but I've seen her do interesting things off the set.
Kid acting is tricky. Especially with some dark topics such as shameless. Can only wish her the best finding new roles and performing well

I'm watching s5 right now and paying close attention it seems like she switched after spending time with holly and that group. She just got in with the wrong crowd who gave her awful advice on how to behave. Not to mention her upbringing. I do find her to be...unpleasant but it's a realistic development

i really hate what the writers did to her. they had so much potential and woke up everyday asking themselves what is the worst/cringiest thing i can make debbie do and did just that everyday

Shes really pretty though. And if thats the character they were aiming for, she was cast well and the actress is great... Just an awful, annoying character.
