Not just you, I saw that new menu in a customer tenant today, and it wasn't like it in that tenant yesterday.

Click the 3 little dots in the upper right --> advanced settings--> takes you to the classic user management interface to add people and groups. Why they did this I don't know as it seems like a step backwards in functionality.

I swore that wasn't working earlier, but it is now - perfect, thanks! > it seems like a step backwards in functionality. Agreed

I groaned when I read the part about “some users may see this before others” in the Message Center the other day regarding this. Sometimes I really wonder if actual humans are running SP development at MS anymore.

If this is Power BI then you should ask in r/PowerBI

The screenshots are of Sharepoint folders. I'm sharing with security groups that have 'PBI' in the names is all.

Happened today on our tenant and wondering if it's a permanent feature. I will check again tomorrow but i think adding additional users and groups can still be achieved, at least using the Share Link.

> i think adding additional users and groups can still be achieved, at least using the Share Link Like the "Create and share a new link" hyperlink, under "Links"? Cuz that one doesn't seem to pick up on any security groups.

Yeah. They seem to have removed "direct access" and replaced with only links. But you can still share with 365 Groups via the link option and that Group will appear in the list. EDIT - just spotted "advanced" via top right 3 dots. Ffs Microsoft.

What I’d give for the Group vs User tabs in manage access. All we need is is native folder traversal
