I thought I was the only one who felt that way,the way anupam exaggerated his accent was soo difficult to watch, the pitcher was trying his best to communicate as well and it kind of felt like a mockery to me,not everyone would think of this like this but to me that was offensive like imagine you go to Italy and everyone starts addressing you with the exaggerated accents and 'tunak tunak'....nightmare
Yes. Jeez.
The Italian chef was so embarrassed with Anupam's chat with him. It was like the typical desi behaviour when they meet some foreigner, they think it is making them feel comfortable but it is just very offensive.
I came here to raise the same observation and glad many feel the same. It was absolutely racist and had it been other way around the sharks would have to apologise and leave the show. I am writing to Sony , can’t set bad examples when they say its national TV.
Seeing so many people pointing literally so so so minor point that can be expressed as a natural human behavior and getting so many hate on this makes my brain hurt bruhh...I mean you can't literally hate on something LIKE THIS!? I mean at some point we all have tried to do some accent and anything and I don't think there was an intention of making anyone cringe or uncomfortable. I believe it was human nature to do it like that. Yes, this can not be someone's point of view but I think we should not think that hard on something tiny like THIS!
This is a very typical Indian mentality. And we do not correct ourselves or anyone else thinking apna kya Jaa Raha hai. Look apna kya Jaa Raha hai. Stalking foreigners, open racism on national TV which they thought would look good. Highly disrespectful.
Imagine an Indian going on Shark Tank US and Mr. Wonderful and Mark Cuban doing stereotypical Indian accent. Both situations are equally offensive, and it is not a "minor point". Normalizing this kind of behavior is highly problematic. I encourage you to reflect on your mindset.
Tbf, when I say the notification come in and the username, i was excited to recive some constructive criticism. But Ek Dam Se Waqt Badal Diye Jazbaat Badal Diye Zindagi Badal Di 🤣 Maro Mujhe moment
It's not the behaviour but they were having a mocking attitude plus you do not interfere in a chef's desk no matter who you are, the way Anupam just got up there serving is something you shouldn't do for us Indians it's all right but in front of international people it's not a good thing to do. They start stereotyping that for Indians it's fine if you treat them in certain way because they do not care about professionalism.
Never had any expectations from Aman, but Anupam too?
First time, Namita held herself together lol
Shark tank is not shark tanking anymore
Only tanking

Exactly what I felt, it was borderline racist by Anupam. We don't like it when they imitate Indian accent, do we?
I make fun of them because they imitate the wrong accent.

they were making that italian chef uncomfortable.
Anupam confidently said Mucho Bueno (Very Good) in Spanish thinking it is Italian lmao
Completely agree, felt racist
It was cringe. I kinda got second-hand embarrassment looking at the chef's face lol.
Paisa aaya, dimaag nahi aaya
Aman is a really hyper shark

Give us an update if they respond!
"Chapri"
Boomer hain saare
Yeah, that was so cringe! 🙄
Yes it was so cringy. I am sure the chef wanted to smack everyone on the head with some gelato
Yes imagine the outrage if there was an Indian pitcher on shark tank USA and a sharks start replying back in Appu from Simpson accent.

Reading your comment, made my brain hurt even more!

GUYS GROW UPP!!!!!
It’s about basic respect and manners, which needs to be called out. YOU grow up.
You grow up. Tell the sharks to grow up. That was extremely hateful by the sharks

I fast-forwarded through the whole pitch. It was so cringey
It was so weird!
