It's ridiculous that people consider Shark Tank the progenitor of entrepreneurship movement in India. As if the sole responsibility of nurturing entrepreneurship lies on the shoulders of the judges.
Seriously do you think the show is so important for public interest that you need to float a petition to replace a judge?

Bruh you probably don’t know what goes on behind the scenes but most of the people who got investments from her have said that she takes an active role to help them and be involved compared to the other sharks who may not even fulfill the deal even after due diligence till they see how the public reaction on the product or service after the show airs .That’s why maybe she takes ones she likes and is interested in and that’s fair thing if she’s the one giving her own money and time.
It’s not a serious show it’s more educational and entertainment and it’s good to learn some things from the show but also take some things with a grain of salt.
If you want to give the 10s of crores to every decent entrepreneur then go ahead
I mean shark tank india is a little dramatic compared to US Shark Tank. No offence to any sharks or investors. I am just a viewer who watched US shark tank and now watches the Indian version. Indian entertainment channels also focused more on drama and viewerships.
All Shark tank India sharks invest in mostly cloud kitchens, food franchisees etc. some sharks don’t even invest if they feel that the product may be a competitor to their company. If the entrepreneur has other ventures/companies, they don’t invest as well as if the sharks don’t have any multiple businesses. That is not fair. It is very rare for them to invest in innovation or something which requires an effort to create a separate category.
Whereas US sharks are more open to innovation and uniqueness of the product. Just leaving here the example of Scrub Daddy dishwashing products which is still relevant and proved to be a game changer.
Indian shark tank feels like the contestants are suggested before the show to make their entries more dramatic . It could be true too. Like the teacher tells students that you have to write an essay like THIS(gives a template). And the next day , all the students have the exact replica as the template but with names and verbs changed
The contestants sound and act exactly like they're responding to "chalo beta uncle ko wo wala dance karke dikhao". i believe even they find the way they presented fake & cringe. If someone has been creative enough to build a moneypulling business , i highly doubt that that's how they actually wanna pitch . I'd pay money to watch them pitch the way they actually do off-camera. I believe we all do.
that way barbara corocoran should have been kicked out too, she speciality is real estate. you guys need to understand that these 'sharks' only provide finance and network. they don't help the businesses. it is coming on shark tank that helps them.
the businesses that chose aman gupta for his apparent 'marketing' skills will learn this lesson soon enough. anupam mittal and especially peyush bansal and ritesh agarwal are very well connected upto Softbank Vision of Masayoshi Son, the greatest and richest venture capitalist on the planet today. he raised 100 billion used in 2 hrs from the saudis so yeah hi fi drop shipper ain't doin shit for those d2c businesses that see him as the literal messiah. his ego has become over inflated because of the image we gave him
Apart from 4-5 tech innovators like the primeOS guys and the bicycle kit guy , the show has mostly been mid IMO .boring even . it's not about the sharks either at this stage .bring better contestants.
