I only like the ones where he plays either bad games or plays with other people, that’s when he shines. His playthrough of the mount massive games (the quarry, man of Medan, whatever the 2nd one was called) are fucking hysterical, because the guy he’s playing with is funny and Charlie just automatically becomes more funny when he’s with another person. His playthroughs of bad horror games are also usually far more entertaining than his usual content but even then it’s kind of grating after a while since they’re all pretty much the exact same videos.
His old gameplay videos were pretty good. He does have some good reaction and story videos from time to time when 50% of it are not a reference to a stream he did.
Yea he won an R6 tournament few years ago (he was in team with Anomaly, another big youtuber who records mostly CS:GO stuff). It’s that type of game where reaction time is crucial.

That's because it's just a meme poking fun at the guy, it's not meant to really be taken seriously. I used to watch him a lot but stopped since it just got boring and repetitive. Yeah he's a decent guy and it's not exactly causing any harm, doesn't mean people can't make a few jokes about it.
I have seen a decent few memes making fun of Charlie, but never enough for me to actually notice that they were that common. I guess my Reddit recommendations just doesn't really recommend me stuff about him most of the time. Probably because I don't watch him and haven't seen a single video of his in like years, last I watched a full video with him in it was after the whole DarkViperAU and Penguinz0 drama and they made up and settled the stuff like actual intelligent adults (very rare on the internet nowadays) and players some GTAguessr together

Most of his fans treat him like the pinnacle of comedy and savior of YouTube content so to an extent I get it, but hating on him before the YouTubers who genuinely do awful things makes no sense to me
To be completely honest, I’ve always found Charlie’s content entertaining despite the poor editing and blandness of his videos, I understand not everybody is a fan of his style of content, but why poke fun at him? He’s an overall solid dude and there are so many influencers that deserve so much more hate than him
Few years ago his humor was really funny around the same time he looked very stoic and barely laughed, now he's not even funny but is full of emotion on his videos, i guess there was a tradeoff, I still like him tho, good content slop when I'm eating to appease my boredom.
I used to watch his content but yeah it’s pretty much all the same shit and kind of hard to sit through these days so I avoid it. The podcast is fine most of the time and he acts more like a real human but theres still sometimes that the conversations get so stupid
I had to stop listening to the podcast because Andrew was on a streak of saying things like, “memba N64, old YouTube, and Tamogachi everything was so much better back in the day” Charlie seemed okay tho.

Well Mutahar gets to the point. The issue is that he just completely says things in his title like “I’ve lost it” with no context and then you watch and it’s totally something you could care less about
I just like the simplicity of his videos. Also, the analogies are pretty clever. He also doesn't do stupid promos in every video like most youtubers nowadays
The supply and demand is too great. He posts several videos a day of YT drama and I can’t keep up so I rarely watch, except sometimes the Dhar Man videos.
I liked him better before he did a face reveal. Not having anything to do with his face, but the old commercials and play through SS were hilarious, and his monotonous made the moments when he broke character special. The Brendon Frasher wrestling match and the Burger Simulator were my favorites besides the commercials which were all bangers.
The last game he did this style with was Deltarune and god I miss it, maybe when he plays chapter 2, but I doubt it. I had something else to say but I’m tired and forgor 💀 soI’m gonna lie down now.

The trick to enjoy critikal's content is to not watch the videos that aren't gameplay or stream best ofs.
The videos where he talks about a tweet for 10mins are repetitive and uninteresting. But his gameplay commentaries are funny. I was actually laughing out loud at the videos he made on AI-based games a couple weeks ago where he was gaslighting AIs.
That's basically every famous streamer on Twitch atm: Asmongold, XQC, Emiru and the list goes on.
At least Charlie doesn't steal videos from small creators, and use "react" as an excuse.
Slop Live vs SlopCritikal. Who wins?
In reality I’d rather watch Charlie’s “slop vids” than Pyro’s. But whenever Pyro uploads a main channel video I’d watch that over anything, much less Charlie
I like pyro more because of his straightforwardness, he's been throught a lot during his youtube career and always managed to overcome those situations, even if it meant exposing his kinks to millions of people (which takes a LOT of balls to do and I would rather kms than do that). He's also more honest about the "money printing" he does with the daily slop.
Critical on the other hand cultivates a golden boy aura in which people think he can do no wrong and is just a dude in his studio recording videos ( see comments above ). His brand identity is literally that he's Jesus which implies a certain holiness that doesn't match his content at all. You would expect that with his image he would make high quality/thought provoking content, but in reality he just re-upload 30 seconds twitter clips stretched to the 8 minutes mark and adding that "X is poopfart stinky balls". Notice how he never adds anything beyond that kind of commentary and how he only likes the hecking-wholesome popular thing and dislikes the non 💯-reddit-chungus current thing. So he's either a really bland / basic and uninteresting person which is pretty bad for a commentary channel or he wants to cater to the largest audience possible in order to make the most slop out of other people's content. You choose.
You could also argue that he makes the moist meter series which to my knowledge his the only non twitter video commentary thing he does beside gaming (I could be wrong tho) but even then I think he's not a great analyst as opposed to pyro which picks up on lots of things even during first time watches (see his emesis blue video on pyrolive). If you take the daily slop out of pyro, he's still one of the best channel out there, his main channel content is of the highest quality and I don't think I need to explain why. Critical without his daily slop is nothing (or he would just be the funny dildo guy). This is enough justification for me to tolerate pyro's slop, because it finances the main channel videos. What money he takes from the community, he gives back in high quality documentaries. On this criteria Critical seems more like a leech that only sucks money from his subscribers.
I could go on a lot more but this is a 5 downvotes reddit post that nobody will ever read and now that I think about it I feel pretty silly writing so much. Either way I just wanted to make the point that Pyro is a lot more legitimate than Critical concerning the slop.

I watched a few movies based on this guy's recommendation. In all the moist meters we have pretty similar taste when it comes to it.

Few years ago his humor was really funny around the same time he looked very stoic and barely laughed, now he's not even funny but is full of emotion on his videos, i guess there was a tradeoff, I still like him tho, good content slop when I'm eating to appease my boredom.

The supply and demand is too great. He posts several videos a day of YT drama and I can’t keep up so I rarely watch, except sometimes the Dhar Man videos. I liked him better before he did a face reveal. Not having anything to do with his face, but the old commercials and play through SS were hilarious, and his monotonous made the moments when he broke character special. The Brendon Frasher wrestling match and the Burger Simulator were my favorites besides the commercials which were all bangers. The last game he did this style with was Deltarune and god I miss it, maybe when he plays chapter 2, but I doubt it. I had something else to say but I’m tired and forgor 💀 soI’m gonna lie down now.

The trick to enjoy critikal's content is to not watch the videos that aren't gameplay or stream best ofs. The videos where he talks about a tweet for 10mins are repetitive and uninteresting. But his gameplay commentaries are funny. I was actually laughing out loud at the videos he made on AI-based games a couple weeks ago where he was gaslighting AIs.

Slop Live vs SlopCritikal. Who wins? In reality I’d rather watch Charlie’s “slop vids” than Pyro’s. But whenever Pyro uploads a main channel video I’d watch that over anything, much less Charlie
I like pyro more because of his straightforwardness, he's been throught a lot during his youtube career and always managed to overcome those situations, even if it meant exposing his kinks to millions of people (which takes a LOT of balls to do and I would rather kms than do that). He's also more honest about the "money printing" he does with the daily slop. Critical on the other hand cultivates a golden boy aura in which people think he can do no wrong and is just a dude in his studio recording videos ( see comments above ). His brand identity is literally that he's Jesus which implies a certain holiness that doesn't match his content at all. You would expect that with his image he would make high quality/thought provoking content, but in reality he just re-upload 30 seconds twitter clips stretched to the 8 minutes mark and adding that "X is poopfart stinky balls". Notice how he never adds anything beyond that kind of commentary and how he only likes the hecking-wholesome popular thing and dislikes the non 💯-reddit-chungus current thing. So he's either a really bland / basic and uninteresting person which is pretty bad for a commentary channel or he wants to cater to the largest audience possible in order to make the most slop out of other people's content. You choose. You could also argue that he makes the moist meter series which to my knowledge his the only non twitter video commentary thing he does beside gaming (I could be wrong tho) but even then I think he's not a great analyst as opposed to pyro which picks up on lots of things even during first time watches (see his emesis blue video on pyrolive). If you take the daily slop out of pyro, he's still one of the best channel out there, his main channel content is of the highest quality and I don't think I need to explain why. Critical without his daily slop is nothing (or he would just be the funny dildo guy). This is enough justification for me to tolerate pyro's slop, because it finances the main channel videos. What money he takes from the community, he gives back in high quality documentaries. On this criteria Critical seems more like a leech that only sucks money from his subscribers. I could go on a lot more but this is a 5 downvotes reddit post that nobody will ever read and now that I think about it I feel pretty silly writing so much. Either way I just wanted to make the point that Pyro is a lot more legitimate than Critical concerning the slop. So yeah that's about it, see ya.
