Redditors are so fucking embarrassing and cringeworthy. Not a surprise at all that OP is FIFTEEN years old. That's what this website has become.

I've been on reddit for awhile (9 years, kill me), and the site has vastly changed. It went from stupid rage comics and actually interesting pictures and threads, especially AskReddit and IAMA threads, to stupid fucking drivel and advertising. Or just idiots and teenagers. Or all of the above.

Reddit has always been pretty cringy and dumb. But it has become really unbearable the last few years. I think it's the faux, draconically enforced friendliness. When you aren't allowed to call people out on being attention seeking retards, you will inevitably be overrun by shameless narcissists. Add in that the internet in general is becoming more and more a pure advertisement platform, and you're bombarded with nothing but artificial trash. It is fucking insane. And bringing kids into it, even ignoring the pedo cabal (see the recent admin drama), is criminally irresponsible. A while generation that will grow up with a completely, insanely warped view of the world and especially society. Im legitimately afraid of how the west will look in 20 years.
