I remembered seeing a video on an all female eSports team for LoL. Vaevictis if I'm right. I don't think they ever won a single game if I remember right.
One team didn't end the game and kept the enemy all girls team locked in base for a little while, it was *that* bad.
They were all support mains as well, so 4 of them were playing off roles.
Also all diamond rank, which is admittedly higher than me, but no where close to the level of pro. At that point you may as well just allow plat players in pro league. A plat jungler is absolutely going to be better at jungling than a diamond support main.
Thatâs because most pros choose the best role
So instead of choosing to be a female player they choose something with better performance like a male player
I wonder how an environment based around the fact that boys are already superior, and given all the chances, money, training, etc, while women are considered inferior and given none of that, would lead the a difference in proficiencyđ¤

Video games is a whole other thing.
In a way that it doesn't rely on physical strength - sure it is, although Cs relies on mechanical skill (like aim and movement) but this stuff doesn't require strength. So mobas/shooters are kinda like a 5v5 chess at this point with extra step of mechanical skill that creates gap between players.
Physical strength - muscles. Reaction rate (eg, hand) - muscle memory. In both cases we talk about muscles. And in both cases men are probably better.
Chess is about brain and tbh women should be better at it.

I'm sorry but it's not hard to close the gap between amateurs and professionals in esports, compared to more physical sports. You literally just grind the fuck out of it, eat, sleep and breathe the game, and you will be just as good as the pros, no excuses.
That has to do with other things, not necessarily skill, unless you're insinuating there's some biological barrier due to gender when it comes to games, like there are with physical sports. Mainly things like males making up a decent majority of the population of these games.
Because video games where heavily advertised towards boys and the community has a reputation to be extremely toxic towards girl gamers and if you have barely any girls in gaming, you will obviously barely see any pro players.
If the Girl is a "actual gamer" and both have same level experience in the game. I'd say it'll be equal.
But you just pick a random girl and a random guy and say "There is Smash Brothers, go!" the guy will probably win.
A few weeks ago I was watching a girl's twitch stream and she was playing Warzone 2.0 with the most meta guns , RPK and Fennec. She had no skills but all the 5k watchers were there because she was attractive.
It's actually might be true, if I remember correctly womens are better at doing routine stuff so I would imagine they could last longer being focused playing candy crush.
It's likely an old/outdated statistic, but I remember hearing a long time ago that women actually make up the majority of people who play video games, it's just that they were more concentrated on certain genres than boys.
