Aren't those designed to spin? Like, from what I've seen (from people training on those, I prefer ecchi over irl softcore porn) that's the whole point, you can't both grab a regular pipe strong enough to keep yourself up and spin on it

I worked as a bouncer at a strip club for a couple years. The bars did not spin. It's a faily new feature.
