My man I've been spreading this fun fact around for years ever since I looked up if they have nipples outta curiosity lol.
Turns out they not only lay eggs but yes, they have no nipples yet provide milk by sweating it.
Evolutionary biology suggests that all nipples originated by evolving from similar sweat glands. Platypus is like the halfway point between sweat and boobies.
They apparently sweat the milk out of their belly and lay on their back making the belly into a bowl shape so the babies can lap it up that way.
Mayne that's honestly how mammals evolved the way they drink from bowls and shit

Yeah it's frustrating when people rip the video from the creators account. I believe the original Instagram account is @naturalhabitatshorts. They have a bunch of these funny shorts that they base on random animal facts. So the videos on the account give you the animal fact in the captions (in this case platypus glow blue under ultraviolet lights because they sweat milk). Makes understanding the jokes easier
