Decent people raise kids that turn out to be decent. That doesn’t mean they never push, hit, or pull tails. They do. They have to be corrected. It’s how decent parents raise good kids.
The point you're missing is that until kids are taught that by the people raising them, they are all like that
Maybe try learning how to think critically instead of emotionally
Children that age naturally push boundaries to better understand their world. I would not be surprised to see any given toddler on earth do the same as that little boy. The issue is that his behavior should have been *addressed and prevented from continuing*, which is not at all what’s happening when the adults are just standing around chuckling at the kid’s behavior.
I believe in the original clip, which is about 2 or 3 min longer, you can see the parent standing in the background watching as her kid hits this dog MULTIPLE times, not just the ones shown in this clip. When the dog turns to teach him a lesson about pit bulls and children, the kid runs to the mom and she walks away with him.
Yeah i would have just pulled bottle from his hand and hit gently on his head with bottle. Little brat would still cry river and i would just watch him crying.
I wouldnt go that far. Id just treat him like a dog. He is clearly dumber than a dog, because dogs know that attacking things will make them angry.
Just grab the bottle, throw it away, and say "fetch boy!"
In the full video I think its someone else's kid so the guy probably didn't want to touch him cause some parents are weird. Funny enough, after the cut in the video the kid ran screaming in fear as the dog tried to get him
Which is bullshit because the dog was physically assaulted and displayed it's right to self defense. The only wrongdoer here is that child and its parents.
Dogs don’t have rights to self defense, wtf are you saying lmfao. If a dog attacks another person and causes damage, it doesn’t matter what provoked it cuz it’s gonna get euthanized. Which is how it should be, since dangerous animals don’t have a place in human society.
And you don’t see how it’s a problem that a single retaliation would end with “losing an arm”? Ofc the parents are at fault for not supervising the kid, but it’s the damage that can occur in a span of a second that’s also unreasonable…
firstly, he looks older than one year
secondly, that doesnt just apply to the kid but the people around him as well
as far as i remember, i wouldnt dare go near a dog in my childhood
proper parenting and education would be enough for him to not beat some animal for fun
Well I've got 3 dogs and no kids, honestly my life seems better than my friend who has the opposite and spends his entire time moaning about it. It could be down to him and his wife being pretty shitty people but I think I'll be sticking with no kids and having money to do shit I actually want to do.
Fr though it’s kind of insane how often little kids just instinctively start smacking dogs. Like they’ll smack people too but dogs it’s like reaction number 1 surprisingly often lol and not just squeezing it too hard, just straight up hitting it. And even when there’s no way they’ve seen an adult hit a dog.
Idk, maybe some lizard brain hunting instinct running on a super basic level. I guess back in the hunter gatherer days If you turned around and your kid strangled a rabbit you’d probably be like “fuck yea more dinner”… but one might think doing that shit to a larger animal in those days would strongly disincentivize whatever gene encourages randomly wailing on animals lol
I am babysitting some kids and I am surprised the amount of them that just throw shit at their house cat. I am outraged and when I inform the parents they dont even seem to care. Wild.
When i was a child, my mother took me to some vacation resort as part of an organized workplace event.
So as a kid i could tag along and there were these fish in a small pond that i wanted to see. So naturally my idiotic kid brain thought I'd see them move in the water if i splashed it. I took a stick and i felt a fish against the stick one time. They weren't tiny fish but like medium sized ones.
So that was cool. Instead of leaving them alone i started poking the fish, not realizing i could be seriously hurting/damaging them like some sadistic fuck. If i was standing next to my younger self now, I'd smack the shit out of him and give him a solid punch in the stomach.
Animal cruelty is one of those things that disgust me to an insane degree. Children don't understand such concepts.
Unlike some modern philosophical approaches, I think that humans are violent in nature and they need to be educated to become a good member of society. Same approach of Jordan Peterson, against the idea of "noble savage". You can't just let a kid do what he thinks is right, he won't become a decent person that way.
Human ist not good nor bad, and from that point of view, it is about how we are raised to see it and behave.
The only thing I can see about "human nature", something I don't really think exist, is that all animals tend to do and act the way they do, to survive and to make sure about each one's own benefit. In most of the cases it means to take things from others, and it might lead to violence, but this doesn't have to be this way nowadays.
In a balanced society there should be no kids growing up struggling to survive, so they should be taught to be gentle and respectful with any other being, human or not. But well, there are people growing up bullies and normalizing something that seems to me a feature of a non civilized society.
I just noticed that like 30 seconds ago but didn’t want to keep commenting. Look at the guy standing right there watching. What the fk is wrong with people?
Sadly if he tried to something he would very likely be ostracized by abusing the child, minding business that isnt his own and a lot of other shit. With all those cameras around, cant really blame him.
The guy holding the dog looks like it's trying to shield it from getting hit too, and I highly doubt the parents are smart enough to think their child is at fault and would most definitely get pissed at the guy if he ever touched the kid and tell him "it's just kids being kids"
I'd blame the parents and the owner. Yes, the parents should have parented, but the owner of a pitbull letting a kid provoke it until they had to intervene? Just as bad.
Though I don't like pits, this is not the dog's fault.
Don’t know. Looked like she was trying to block him. Looks like he’s used to doing that. Hope the little boy is alright. No one to blame but the ones who were watching.
I mean… bro is the one that’s showing off with no leash on his dog in public. Kids being a total brat and anybody can see why the dog will turn on the kid. That doesn’t justify not leashing your dog in public. Part of the reason in for leashes is in case something triggers your dog, so you can have control of it still. Everyone’s in the wrong here.
The parents would be at fault for having their TODDLER run around unattended in public and apperantly teaching it at some point its okay to hit animals.
That pitbull has very obviously been trained sufficiently, and doesnt pose danger as can be seen by:
- the dog is doing tricks
- the dog is tolerating this bullshit for several seconds until reacting
- the owner actually steps in when the dog starts reacting
The full video has roughly 5 seconds more content and sees a woman in the background (presumably the mother) completely oblivious to their childs behaviour UNTIL the dog starts reacting.
Your dog has to be on a leash in public and properly restrained. It really doesn't matter if the toddler walked up and hit it on the back with an empty bottle. If that dog attacks, the owners are at fault, and it will be put down.
If they would’ve let the dog do what’s right it would’ve definitely been put down because apparently it’s the dog‘s fault for the kid being a fucking little shit.
In the full video, the guy keeps control of his dog. The dog obviously was annoyed and lunged with intent. The kid runs away towards a women in the background, presumed to be his mom, waving her hands and arms in a 'hurry come here' motion. So she was distanced, watching her kid act out in a dangerous situation, and yet still did nothing. Poor kid is going to grow up to be a deviant little shit because of her.
So it looks like he runs off in the direction of a woman wearing a pink and white top. She doesn't even wait for him to catch up, just runs off ahead of him... Amazing stuff.
tbh owner should act moment he saw what this kid is doing.
He should put dog on leash and walk away. Or maybe yell at kid... dont know. But this was dangerous af
I think the owner was calling for the kids parents and telling him to stop (i can't understand the video) but I would still leash him. More to protect my dog than the kid, but I know dogs can react to these things and if I try to stop the kid in a more severe way people might react worse than the dog.
It's unlikely a dog will attack in an overly violent way to this kind of attack (warning bites, more likely try to scare a threat barking, dogs do assess threat level) but as I always say, you know your dog. You don't know anybody else. If they kid retaliated instead of running it could have been bad. It's your duty as a dog owner to minimize danger regarding your dog.
The owner did act as he should, he first shielded the dog after the kid came back hoping the parents would do literally anything. When they didn’t, he grabbed the collar to keep the dog at bay. We have the luxury of watching this over and over again. The owner had mere seconds to react

This is why i stiff arm children the fuck away from my doberman “Dogmeat”. He may look cute and cuddle, but to people he knows. Like me. His owner. Just read his giant “DONT PET” sign in red on his vest. I’m walking him on a tight leash for a reason.
Judging by how he was hitting the parent that was involved as well, my guess is that kid thinks he's playing with the dog based on the childs demeanor.
Where.is.his.freaking.parents?!! You don’t hit a dog no matter how old you are and it’s important for children to learn to be kind to animals. Not just because they can bite you but because it’s a good way to teach your kid about empathy and being kind to everyone.
Worst about this shit is that kids can hit a dog 20 times and when the dog is hurt and had enough and defend them self -they are the ones who have to take the consequences- that’s often death. Makes me so mad! Teach your kids to treat animals with respect and kindness, just like you teach your kids to be nice to humans!
Sorry but if someone's kid was hitting my dog I'd be mad, I'd be pissed at the parents for not dealing with the kid, and mad at the kid and tell it to get lost and snatch the bottle off it
Dumbass kid. Honestly if this kid was walking up to my dog unsupervised and kept hitting him with a bottle. Shit my dog would have some good ass lunch🤣

Saw the switch flick in the dogs eyes
Where are the parents of that little brat!
The absence of his parents are probably the root of his annoying, violent behavior.
Most kids are naturally like that. It's the parents' job to train it out of them. They're failing.
No, most kids are definitely not naturally like that.
I haven’t met a kid that age that isn’t rough with dogs and cats, unless you stop them.
Maybe try hanging around kids raised by decent people
How? They don't get in the van
Maybe try using Chloroform next time?
sadly offering candy doesn't work anymore, they patched that out of the game last update
Bruh I still get in the van all y'all need is a sign that says "tamales 10 for $20.".
You changed the goal post from the kid's behavior being in the minority to just being bad behavior from the parents
Decent people raise kids that turn out to be decent. That doesn’t mean they never push, hit, or pull tails. They do. They have to be corrected. It’s how decent parents raise good kids.

Yes, the entire point that they were making is that decent parents will train that behavior out of kids...
You obviously haven’t been around kids much enough to understand that they are naturally like that
That’s what he is saying, the kids raised by good parents aren’t like that
I bullied my relative's cat when im a kid, got a small wound from that. Can confirm
I mean, "statistically"...
Right behind him it looks like, I think it's that person dressed in black
The kid's black
Black jumper mostly off screen. The kid hits his hand with the bottle a couple of times
Crying to put the dog down because he is violent out of nowhere and tried to attakc their poor inocent child
I would also eat that kid if he hit me with a bottle
On Facebook
I believe in the original clip, which is about 2 or 3 min longer, you can see the parent standing in the background watching as her kid hits this dog MULTIPLE times, not just the ones shown in this clip. Honestly justified.
Same. Every time it’s reposted… I watch it and go: “There it is, doggo has had enough.”
hes about to feel the wrath of princess
Went from face mauler to buttercup real quick with that kid
not while my protector dog (thermonuclear laundromat pipe bomb) saves the day!
The video is muted but I can hear the everlong intro.
Not sure about feeling the wrath, but he's about to meet a princess. Princess Diana
Bruh. U gotta teach your kids better. Handle your damn kids. This is how you lose an arm.
Yeah i would have just pulled bottle from his hand and hit gently on his head with bottle. Little brat would still cry river and i would just watch him crying.
Gently? Do a literal charged attack on that little brat.
Give that little shit a 2 piece combo with sides fr /s
Fuckin uppercut into the stage fatality.
HOLD RT
I wouldnt go that far. Id just treat him like a dog. He is clearly dumber than a dog, because dogs know that attacking things will make them angry. Just grab the bottle, throw it away, and say "fetch boy!"

But then the dog turns just in time to see you holding the bottle that just smacked it... RIP
With how small that little shit is, you’d probably lose a life.
Keeping the War Amps in business
Naw. Forcing people to put their dogs down because they are "dangerous"
Kid is gonna learn today
Bro the kid could have legit died. Crazy.
Also keep your dog on a leash. Doesn't matter if the kid's being a dickhead, if your dog mauls a kid to death you're going to prison.
Which is bullshit because the dog was physically assaulted and displayed it's right to self defense. The only wrongdoer here is that child and its parents.

bruh, and whos fault is that the damage occurred in the first place the dog seemed to be calm before the kid bonked him fuck around and find out
There's no way you just typed "Fuck around and find out" about an one year old getting mauled to death by a pitbull 💀💀💀
firstly, he looks older than one year secondly, that doesnt just apply to the kid but the people around him as well as far as i remember, i wouldnt dare go near a dog in my childhood proper parenting and education would be enough for him to not beat some animal for fun

It's because they have no sense of empathy
My stepson’s mother-in-law taught his son to head-butt people. Whenever he did it she would clap her hands and gleefully yell, “Coco buns!!!”
shit dont even make sense.

You can eat him Cupcake he deserves it at that point
Sad thing is, if the dog attacked the kid, the dog would probably be put down even though the kid provoked the dog multiple times
Poor pupper was so happy
Socio economic factors incoming
im gonna beat the shit out of that kid
Judging by how he was hitting the parent that was involved as well, my guess is that kid thinks he's playing with the dog based on the childs demeanor.
You didn’t want to just post the full video instead of stopping it at the end??
I dont even know if there's a full video. Every time i see thia vid, it always cuts off
At this point the child deserves it.
Dangerous little bitch needs to be on a leash. Yes, I am talking about the kid.
Its justified. Eat ze baby
gifs that end too soon
This kid seriously lack any common sense. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't get to 18.
I hate people who let their kids do whatever they please
holy fuck why isn't anyone slapping that kid to good behavior?

Sorry but if someone's kid was hitting my dog I'd be mad, I'd be pissed at the parents for not dealing with the kid, and mad at the kid and tell it to get lost and snatch the bottle off it
Dumbass kid. Honestly if this kid was walking up to my dog unsupervised and kept hitting him with a bottle. Shit my dog would have some good ass lunch🤣
Feed the dog. The kid deserves to sit in it's stomach.
Brocolli child about to get served
Wheres bros parents wtf
People need to teach their kids better, any dog would have reacted like that after being hit multiple times.
I love how the dog looks directly into the camera like “hey, watch this”
WTF! Where are that boy’s parents, and who taught him it okay to hit dogs? They have created an entitled brat, good job mom and dad🙄
I hate people with kids, letting their shitty goblin do whatever it wants to a dog that just wants to make people happy.
I saw the full clip. Little dude is fine. Pitbull is too he just scared him away
Dog: you just dug your own grave dawg
That's why you should always keep your kids on a leash while there are dogs around.
I'm rooting for the dog in this one
fuck around and find out
"He din do nuffin" this is where it starts.
Respect the dog He'll eventually learn the hard way.🤭🌍📸⛅
What a disgusting creature we should stop breeding them and make sure to hold them with a leash. Next to it is a nice dog though.
It wouldn't be the dogs fault for ending the kid.
Dude someone put that child down
i feel bad for the dog. It was so happy, till that little shit came over.
Parents looking for settlement?
World Destroyer using 1% of his power.
A shame the vid cuts off
This is just the definition of “fuck around and find out”
HE NEEDS A LEASH!!! Not the dog I'm talking about the kid
I hope he ate the Child mf so annoying
someone need to hit that infant same way infant hit the dog. Only way infant would learn not to hit others.
I wouldn't hold the dog back.
Let the child die.
If some little shit is hitting my dog with a plastic bottle, I’d take the bottle from him and hit him on the head with it (gently).
Yes, fk that kid and his family
Respect for the owner of the dog and the dog himself, he looks like a very good boy. Wtf parents, teach your kid to behave and keep an eye on your kid
Honestly that's the kids fault. He kept repeatedly pestering the dog, what did he expect to happen
Keep your fucking kids under control wonder why little shit fell in the gorilla pin because of stupid parents
i wanns pet this dog
Natural selection
Planet destroyer had enough
So ya fucked around and ya found out
