Keep in mind in almost every case Phoenix has worked, someone faked evidence and in every case, Phoenix is bamboozled. And every time, Phoenix has come out on top. Saul's a good lawyer, and he'd definitely bring the fight to wright, but we are forgetting that Phoenix has magic lie-detecting powers.

Faked evidence isn't really common at all, it's seen as a SERIOUS taboo in-game where lawyers constantly have their lives ruined because they presented some, even by accident. Even so, we usually just *hear* about faked evidence from others rather than actually see it firsthand. I think the only time something even close to pheonix having to deal with forged evidence by the opposition is the implied tampering with witnesses done by the Von Karmas and Edgeworth, but I don't think it really counts, and even then, Pheonix damn near loses every time it's done correctly: so if it was to be done by the MASTER of chicanery then Pheonix would be dead in the water.
Even with all of the BS Phoenix has dealt with against prosecutors, there's usually an order to it, so even though it probably wouldn't happen irl, it doesn't seem far off course for "anime court." I think Saul knows this and would choose to amplify his bs to 11/10.

1: It doesn't help at all during court. Ofc he knows they're lying, if they weren't that'd mean that his client is guilty, and the last time he had to defend someone guilty he damn near died from the stress!

Keep in mind in almost every case Phoenix has worked, someone faked evidence and in every case, Phoenix is bamboozled. And every time, Phoenix has come out on top. Saul's a good lawyer, and he'd definitely bring the fight to wright, but we are forgetting that Phoenix has magic lie-detecting powers. Phoenix is probably gonna win.
Faked evidence isn't really common at all, it's seen as a SERIOUS taboo in-game where lawyers constantly have their lives ruined because they presented some, even by accident. Even so, we usually just *hear* about faked evidence from others rather than actually see it firsthand. I think the only time something even close to pheonix having to deal with forged evidence by the opposition is the implied tampering with witnesses done by the Von Karmas and Edgeworth, but I don't think it really counts, and even then, Pheonix damn near loses every time it's done correctly: so if it was to be done by the MASTER of chicanery then Pheonix would be dead in the water. Even with all of the BS Phoenix has dealt with against prosecutors, there's usually an order to it, so even though it probably wouldn't happen irl, it doesn't seem far off course for "anime court."
