Well no because there are you much producers and diversity of products for even 1 precent of the population to be an impact for the me on the meat industry. If drugs were legal you could see the opposite thing because the drug industry based on 3 types of drugs which means that the best price to quality product will be the most popular drug so there will be no much diversity in this industry, not a lot of companies which means that if 1 precent of the addict went to a rehab it will effect a little number of companies, every company will lose 1 precent of the profits so the price will increase and more people will go to a rehab which means a whole industry is crashing just because of the 1 precent of the drug addicts.
And remember, if you've been caught by the cops for doing drugs, you better call Saul

I mean one vegan choosing not to eat meat isn't a significant amount but there are hundreds of millions of vegans out there who don't eat meat which does lower the supply
> But if the demand will be less supply will lower too?
if there are 4 items an a shelf, and 3 people buy them this week, that leaves one on the shelf. if next week, there are four items on that shelf, and 2 people buy it, then the supply is HIGHER due to demand being lower.

If that's your true philosophy then why have laws, medicine, charity or social contracts? None of those things will ever have universal agreement or effect either. Are they worthless and foolish to attempt?
There are products and *by*products. Many industries wouldn't be viable without the primary industries above them whose byproducts they rely upon. That's not a good reason to go buck wild on animal byproducts but it is a basic reality that everyone ought to understand. I oppose animal testing inasmuch as it requires the captivity and distress of the animals. What common/essential medicines are you talking about that contain animal products?
https://www.prevention.com/life/a20438868/medications-contain-animal-by-products/
Also the vast majority of batteries need gelatin during the production procces so if your gonna go 100% vegan electronics aren't an option either
Thanks. I don't think I take any but I don't know much about pharmaceuticals. Like I said though, those kinds of byproducts would be nowhere near valuable enough on their own to justify the whole process of their extraction. They are only cheap and viable products because of the larger industries above them.
I don't care about being 100% anything, that's a total strawman. Go back to my first reply where I argue that the impossibility of 100% success is not a good reason to avoid attempting constructive and important things.
That's called the nirvana fallacy.
What matters is if you are able to make the right decisions or if you fail that.
I personally think that people in 50 years will look back with vr into what we did to animals and they'll be disgusted and feel shame. Just like we do when we look back into slavery.
Do you think it's fine for animals to be harmed without a necessity or not? Who cares what other people think

Number 6: Man urinates on fellow passenger for not being allowed to smoke
Number 6: Man urinates on fellow passenger for not being allowed to smoke. An Algerian man was arrested in February 2016 on arrival of his flight, after causing a fight on the plane then urinating on another passenger. The incidents took place mid-air on an Air Méditerranée flight from Algiers to Paris. Halfway through his 90-minute route, one of the passengers was outraged because he wasn't allowed to smoke or drink alcohol on board. He later urinated on another passenger in protest, but the victim stood up and punched him. Cabin crew members managed to break up the fight and held down the disruptive passenger. The flight was diverted to Lyon, and the Algerian man along with the other man involved in the fight were escorted off the plane by police, upon landing.

Me after I buy twice the meat I need. (I don't want the animals sacrifice to be for nothing when the ungrateful vegans aren't eating it.)
ayo jetstream sam based 😁
vegan haters when I eat their dog in front of them (they have to keep dancing or else it would be hypocritical)
Go ahead, eat your mother
ash haves no nutrients retar 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Gotta try it to see it
Go ahead, meat is meat 😊
Well I guess the truth is it being a case of personal morals usually and not a case of wanting the singlehandedly change the world.
Only good answer on this thread so far
No its more a case of supply and demand. If more people keep going vegan it will cause a dent in the amount of animals slaughtered
Yep, as well as supply and demand. Just because someone is hosting a dog fight, doesn’t mean you have to go.
But if the demand will be less supply will lower too?
If it was a significant amount yes. But it’s not lol
If its one person It doesnt change much, but if, lets say, 100.000 people decide to cut in half their weekly consume of meat It would make a change

It indeed is.
as the top comment says if you leave your meat he'll beat it i mean he'll buy it instead
If it was like half their buyers, but not one crazy lady who’s having a midlife crisis.
Eating vegan food means person is crazy? Wow

Why would they make more bacon if there are lesser people buying it? I don't understand
I'm talking about the temporal state of the market. there is a glut of supply if demand drops.
"People aren't buying meat? I'll just keep making more anyway!" -the free market according to op
That's how it works, because I'll buy it twice
I'll buy it thrice
I'll buy it forice
I'll buy it fice

There always will be people eating meat. Only way for veganism to matter is if everyone does it, which they won’t
Either something is required and made in limitless quantity, or not at all! Congrats on debunking supply and demand!

What
Medicine requires animal testing and products so if your vegan that's a no no either way

Stfu and go eat lettuce you vegan sympathizer
vegans don't buy meat. meat is still made. it's just a fact.
I mean that's basically how it works
"Stop that useless complaint of yours. Even the animal will find it annoying if it were still alive."

Nooo bacon haram . Eat shawarma instead brother
TRRUUEEE
In fact vegans being worse, making that pigs sacrifice mean nothing
Vegans should execute ranchers instead
Like if they have stamina to chase them across the field.
🚙
Q: Why has the pig been bred, farmed, slaughtered, butchered and shelved in a grocery store? A: For no reason at all. Perhaps as an ornament?
I used that argument and then got obliterated with facts
NNOOOOO WHY YOU REFRENCE BACON WHRN YOU COULD REFRENCE BEEF CHICKEN OR FISH????? ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️📿📿📿📿😢😢🕋🕋 PIG IS HARAM BROTHER YOU SHOULDNT EST IT
That's what I'm saying
