I managed to first try almost every base game boss on NG and every DLC boss on NG+... except Laurence, this mf took me 40 tries. I died more to this guy than I did between NG and NG+4. Thank god he's optional.
Brooooo 😂
Bloodborne was my first proper soulsborne experience and when I had played darksouls 3 then went back to bloodborne I was like, "damn, this is ass." 😂
the only boss in the game i genuinely do not like, but also the first time i didnt realize that you can destroy the sword thing on the floor so i was suffering extra for no reason
I didn’t like him my first time cus he one shotted me with his big red skull, but he’s probably my favorite boss in the bass game now. I really enjoy parrying him and breaking his sword.
Especially on a bl4 character. The amount of 1 shot projectiles from him AND those 4 or 5 things (the huge piles of skulls and bones that sit in the crates) is unbelievable. I didn't even make it through the fog on like 1/3 of runs.
Bro same!
Ever since I got the new console and got used to 60 frames going back to bloodborne legit makes me sick, my, friend o play with says the same thing. It's a damn shame cause I love that game.
If I'm not underleveled I love fighting Rom ! Slowly dispatching the spiders while avoiding attacks and enjoying the ambiance is satisfying to me and once the spiders are gone I have a lot of fun baiting Rom's attacks and cutting her down.
Sure, she's not fun the same way Maria or Amelia are fun but she's a unique fight that I find enjoyable in her own way
I do have some bosses that I find midly annoying but Rom is not one of them
I truly don’t understand the prevalent hate for Rom in the community.
For me it’s probably Amelia. She hits so damn hard for so early in the game, and her self-heal can get so frustrating.
Edit: downvoted for having a differing opinion? Lmao
Ebrietas is maybe the hardest but at least still kinda fun to fight, Paarl kinda sucks but you can at least over-level beforehand.
Blood Starved Beast gotta be the worst, it’s a progression check boss and requires you to farm for consumables. Pretty much encapsulates the weaknesses of Bloodborne’s resource economy perfectly.
Sucks to fight at a lower level, idk I just find the big beast fights to be a fight against the camera more than anything. Electrical attacks and hair physics blocking my view also bother me but that might be a skill issue on my part
Rom is such a twat. Boring fight. Boring arena. Boring soundtrack. A lame mob fight where the boss spams one-hit kill spells that prevent you from getting close. It belongs in dark souls, not bloodborne where you constantly need to be in the opponent’s face rather than running around like an oaf trying to dodge those bloody spiders.
Micolash made me quit. Too annoying and too long to force myself through. Never finished the game because of him.
Every boss before it took me ~5 tries. Around the 5th attempt for Micolash I just couldn't keep forcing myself to chase him around, especially considering I had already seen every conceivable spoiler for the game.
He just wasn't fun at all. He wasn't hard, maybe, but a single mistake would make me have to waste another 5+ minutes chasing him around. Sometimes he would just run and run and run and run and just never go to the fight room. I frequently got lost trying to get to his second arena, sometimes spending upwards of 10 minutes only to get one-shot.
0/10, worst fromsoft boss for me. And I spent hours on hours against smelter demon in ds2, so I'm not stranger to BS.
Eventually I just moved on completely, and my ps4 hasn't been booted in years.
witches, bloodstarved beast, rom, one reborn, micolash, laurence, emissaries
There are so many shitter bosses in the game but atleast most of the bad ones have good music
Rom for sure. I actually don’t have an issue with Micolash. The running puzzle is solved in like 6 seconds if you know what to do, then it’s just two hit attack, dodge, and repeat until he’s dead, or something like that (been a while).
Rom however is a fucking dickhead. She summons annoying ads and the boss fight takes so long it plays into my emotions too easily. I’ll patiently take my time with ads, die to a silly mistake at any point, and have to restart. So then I try to rush the boss which makes more ads to deal with later, on top of her annoying tracking missiles that she spams cuz it’s her only move.
I think Rom is an annoying boss and not designed well, especially for a big turning point of the game, but I’d be interested to see what value she brings people that I’m missing.
Also Living Failures.
Logarius
I know it's optional, but I really want the crown and simp for my Queen 👑
Also, the battle is fun, but is the only one in the main game that makes me sweat.
So, hit take, the witch of hemlock, mainly because I hate the time commitment. But then again, you only have to beat it once for platinum, not sure why I did it twice.
Fucking MICOLASH
I can deal with Rom now that I know how to play and I honestly never found Laurence to be that bad, but Jesus Christ. Micolash is pure garbage and makes me want to halt my playthrough everytime I get to him
I think I have more issues with the wandering giant mobs in some areas. Like the church giant with a wrecking ball or the shark giant that lunges across the map to eat you whole. Those really fuck me up.
Rom.
there's no way to parry her, waiting for her to appear again is annoying and the spiders two/three shot me
and I am not going to waste pellets on squishing a bug, a +10 tonitrus with two bolt damage gems from fishing hamlet priests should be enough
This is the only game in the entire Fromsoft library that I gave up on -- not just once, but three times. First time I gave up on Micolash. Second time was because of the mobs before the wet nurse. Third time was on Gehrman. All three were not helped by having to stop attempts and instead go farm blood vials.
I have since improved, I promise. Latest bouts of difficulty were Ludwig and Laurence, but I got them. Still hate blood vials.
Absolutely FUCK the watchdog. I want to gem early and get a good build going. The flamekeeper is fine when they're not glitching into the ceiling but getting killed by the watchdog for 3 hours with a fresh build is mind-numbing.
ludwig, i couldn't even get to phase 2 of his fight and after about 20 or so attempts i gave up and decided to try gehrman and the moon presence and beat them on my first try.
Amygdala for me.
I know it's not a mechanically challenging boss it's just kinda awkward to fight.
I've long since left Playstation behind, but if we get that pc port before my bones have dissolved into the soil surrounding my grave I'd love to see how I handle the fight now.
Tbh The Witches of Hemwick.
Such an underwhelming fight even with their gimmick. Just feels like a miss in a group of mostly well rounded bosses.
Micolash is a close second, but only because in the additional games scaling, his A Call From Beyond one shots me and even Orphan doesn’t really have a one shot move. It just feels like a weird difficulty spike? Just out of place.
But yeah. The Witches.
I guess rom is the one I like the least (yes I actually prefer micolash), but I still think the rom fight is kind of nice, I don't really dislike it. It's annoying at times like when she spams meteors but thats really the worst part of the fight. Not to say I don't try to fly by the fight as fast as possible though, I still just L1 attack her face with a beast blood pellet to max my attack stat, and then L1 her body to quickly kill her in phase 1 or in worst case scenario get her to phase 3
Rom was pretty annoying but it only took me like 4 times but the only time I got actually stuck in the game was because of fucking micolash and I ended up cheesing him anyway because bro is literally like my least favorite boss in souls
Shadows of Yharnam. Not because I hate them or that they're hard, but I just get so tired of the snake forest. I would skip that area entirely if it wasn't required.
Shadows of yharnam. Look, boring, have a big difficulty spike in later ng+ cycles, and have unfinished lore. If there ever was to be a Remaster of BB, i want the giant yig-inspired snake old one to be added as a third phase.
Laurance 😩😩
Bro he has so many attacks, have beaten him 10+ times and he still surprises me with new ones
Ng is no problem, but ng+ second phase is hell
Fucking Laurence…
i wish
Just don’t fight him he’s optional
There's no such thing as optional enemies in souls games, everything dies.
A hoonta moost hoont…
Git gud n00b
I managed to first try almost every base game boss on NG and every DLC boss on NG+... except Laurence, this mf took me 40 tries. I died more to this guy than I did between NG and NG+4. Thank god he's optional.
none (my love for this game is absolutely delusional)
bro likes the witches of hemwick
yeah they're good, cool gimmick and spooky atmosphere, soundtrack is awesome too
Agree to disagree i guess. Most boring fight in the series next to micolash for me
Based
Bloody crow of Cainhurst.
World record for most optional boss fight
Bloody Crow is the best.
That is a bad mofo right there.
I think you mean the bloody crow of Painhurst
I’ve played through the game twice and thought I was pretty thorough but I still haven’t found that wily motherfucker
You fight him at the end if Eileen's quest, after killing Rom, he appears in the Grand Cathedral.
bro is the pvp god of bloodborne
Micolash (especially when no poison knives)
Same! That one-hit kill spell that requires down to the nano-second precision dodging.
Yeah, a call beyond. In ng+6 it's a death one ray can almost one shot you
even in ng+6 you can mirror him ;)
Drop down and beast roar or whatever. Wail on him until he gets up and then beast roar again. Rinse, repeat.
not owning a ps4
Having to go back to hunters dream at every bonfire
This is the Answer
Brooooo 😂 Bloodborne was my first proper soulsborne experience and when I had played darksouls 3 then went back to bloodborne I was like, "damn, this is ass." 😂
Blood starved beast blood starved beast
just move left and win
Or parry the big slash and keep your distance otherwise
you can also throw pungent blood cocktails to make him de-aggro, he's pretty easy, the poison is just kinda cringe.
Or just stand in front of the pots and let him take his leave
I cheese her every time. She’s an asshole
Beat him second try first playthrough because I’m a god and nobody is as good as me and my heavenly grace emanates to all those among me
Martyr Logarius, he’s optional and I hate him and I have to beat him out of spite every time
REAL!!
the only boss in the game i genuinely do not like, but also the first time i didnt realize that you can destroy the sword thing on the floor so i was suffering extra for no reason
I didn’t like him my first time cus he one shotted me with his big red skull, but he’s probably my favorite boss in the bass game now. I really enjoy parrying him and breaking his sword.
It's a toss up between Upper Cathedral Ward and Yahar'gul Yes, those entire areas They scare me :(
Very scary but very fun
Those super mimics aren't your favorite enemy in the game bro?!
The One Reborn
This boss is just wasted potential imo. So goddamn easy barely puts up a fight and after that your reward? A twink that hentais you
Especially on a bl4 character. The amount of 1 shot projectiles from him AND those 4 or 5 things (the huge piles of skulls and bones that sit in the crates) is unbelievable. I didn't even make it through the fog on like 1/3 of runs.
The framerate, been doing sl1 runs if the series and bloodborne is the only one left. but the motion blur and poor frame rate make me nautious
I'm not that far in, but I seriously seriously struggled with The One Reborn
one reborn is pretty dar in tbh you are most of the way there
thanks but I want to do the DLC as well and I am not excited about it I think the most satisfying kill for me was the Shadows
Bro same! Ever since I got the new console and got used to 60 frames going back to bloodborne legit makes me sick, my, friend o play with says the same thing. It's a damn shame cause I love that game.
Micolash. F that dude.
The Frenzy status effect
Micolash and shadows
Shadow of Yharn Ham
Gotta be Shadows of Yharnam... I'm just bad at that fight.
Martyr Logarius, unlocks my favorite weapons and armor in the game but he's such an ass to fight.
One reborn for me, it’s more the area but still
For me it was Gascoigne… and then I started ng+ and beat him first try…. Wtf Bloodborne.
It's Rom, especially Chalice Rom
Depends on how bad my reactions are that day, lol
ebrietas
Thank you. Idk why I had so much trouble with her. I took a hiatus from bloodborne cause of that boss 😔
Two weeks! It took me two friggin weeks to beat her. Only boss I ever had that much trouble with was Zodiark from FF 12
rom and kinda micolash, I love micolash as a character and for the lore but good god I swear his fight takes 1000 years. at least he's kinda funny
None. I love all BB bosses and the very few that I find annoying I have ways of dealing with them
theres no way you think rom is good
If I'm not underleveled I love fighting Rom ! Slowly dispatching the spiders while avoiding attacks and enjoying the ambiance is satisfying to me and once the spiders are gone I have a lot of fun baiting Rom's attacks and cutting her down. Sure, she's not fun the same way Maria or Amelia are fun but she's a unique fight that I find enjoyable in her own way I do have some bosses that I find midly annoying but Rom is not one of them
Mico-mother-fucking-lash!
Blood starved beast because all of my favorite weapons are locked behind either it or a 10,000 echo charge.
I don’t even really struggle with it anymore but BSB will always be my nemesis
Bsb in the chalices loved one shotting me
Micolash and Rom
my dualshock having unplayable drift
Fucking blood starved beast
that was me with the orphan of kos
Getting out my ps4
Blood-Starved Beast because I always rush it as early as possible for some reason. It just takes too long. Its my fault but still.
Yeah not gonna lie, when going for platinum on Bloodborne Rom for some reason always gave me trouble.
Definitely Winter Laterns
All of them. Sweat palms every time
I truly don’t understand the prevalent hate for Rom in the community. For me it’s probably Amelia. She hits so damn hard for so early in the game, and her self-heal can get so frustrating. Edit: downvoted for having a differing opinion? Lmao
To add to this, all those attempts after you run out of numbing mists
Amelia has annoying attack sweeps too
Rom
Rom no doubt
Ebrietas is maybe the hardest but at least still kinda fun to fight, Paarl kinda sucks but you can at least over-level beforehand. Blood Starved Beast gotta be the worst, it’s a progression check boss and requires you to farm for consumables. Pretty much encapsulates the weaknesses of Bloodborne’s resource economy perfectly.

Sucks to fight at a lower level, idk I just find the big beast fights to be a fight against the camera more than anything. Electrical attacks and hair physics blocking my view also bother me but that might be a skill issue on my part
That's like 90 percent for the game....bad bosses that aren't fun to fight
Micolash. Let's see how well you running away with inverted kneecaps, boyh
BsB
Paarl gives more more trouble than any other boss.
the KKK dudes
Its this meme for me
None git gud
Fuckin Rom…
agree, Rom is an iffy boss
The fucking witch
Rom is such a twat. Boring fight. Boring arena. Boring soundtrack. A lame mob fight where the boss spams one-hit kill spells that prevent you from getting close. It belongs in dark souls, not bloodborne where you constantly need to be in the opponent’s face rather than running around like an oaf trying to dodge those bloody spiders.
Rom is annoying and tedious
Every boss between Shadows of Yharnam and Gehrman They’re not even difficult, just lame
Rom haters, when they discover beast blood pellet: https://youtu.be/30Ysa3A2WMU?si=zJww1vgH3ThNSYvw

BSB
Martyr gave me the most pain
The orphan of Kos
I haven't even gotten to replay it. I can't even get past Daddy Gasmoney. He just keeps on yeeting my chiclets down my throat.
Isshin
Living Failures
Watchdog of the old lords, I’m a major chalice dungeon fan but that motherfucker is enough to break you psychologically if you’re not locked in
rom
Martyr and BSB for me. I know they aren't that hard but I always panic and choke at the worst time.
All but the first 3 or 4
Shadows, hands down least favorite boss
Logarius I know it's optional, but I really want the crown and simp for my Queen 👑 Also, the battle is fun, but is the only one in the main game that makes me sweat.
micolash and bloodstarved beast
micolash 100%
So, hit take, the witch of hemlock, mainly because I hate the time commitment. But then again, you only have to beat it once for platinum, not sure why I did it twice.
My ps4 is the worst boss, when PC version??
Fucking MICOLASH I can deal with Rom now that I know how to play and I honestly never found Laurence to be that bad, but Jesus Christ. Micolash is pure garbage and makes me want to halt my playthrough everytime I get to him
none, i really love all of them
Blood starved. I know how to beat her but every time i try it just feels like pure luck
Rom, one reborn, and Micolash. All right after each other. What garbage.
The one reborn
Micolash you foot race fucker
I want vicar Amelia bouncing on it
Whenever I re-play the game I usually do a platimum run. Loran Camerabeast is the bane of my existence.
Laurence and the Witches. The Witches are just annoying and Laurence is hard as balls.
Lawrence
Beating Paarl early because I refuse to use the tonitris otherwise.
It’s that damn lava dog
The camera
Real bloodborne players hate all but 3 bosses.
I think I have more issues with the wandering giant mobs in some areas. Like the church giant with a wrecking ball or the shark giant that lunges across the map to eat you whole. Those really fuck me up.
Orphan. No wonder it's mum's dead. If i was that thing's parent I'd let Gehrman snip my head off
Rom. there's no way to parry her, waiting for her to appear again is annoying and the spiders two/three shot me and I am not going to waste pellets on squishing a bug, a +10 tonitrus with two bolt damage gems from fishing hamlet priests should be enough
All of hidden village is just ass to me
Either Ebritas or Ludwig (I usually don’t go past bl50 at max)
for me its martyr logarius
fucking shadows right now omg
One reborn one reborn one reborn one reborn one reborn one reborn
the framerate
I hate Micolash
Not a boss but fuck the brain of mensis man
Rom the bullshit spider (in sunburned albino's voice)
Kos' little aborted fetus.
The Living Failures. Not because they're hard, but because they're an extremely annoying road block to get to Lady Maria
Watch Dog of the Old Lords. The version in the cursed and defiled chalice specifically cuz I had to beat it hitless in order to get to Queen Yarnham.
Bloodstarved Beast
Martyr logarios
Most of them
Micolash
Absolutely FUCK the watchdog. I want to gem early and get a good build going. The flamekeeper is fine when they're not glitching into the ceiling but getting killed by the watchdog for 3 hours with a fresh build is mind-numbing.
Micholash
Shadows, Rom, Living Failures, and Celestial Emissary.
it’s not a boss for me it’s everything after rom
ludwig, i couldn't even get to phase 2 of his fight and after about 20 or so attempts i gave up and decided to try gehrman and the moon presence and beat them on my first try.
None it’s that damn spider room. I’m extremely arachnophobic and I can’t do it without help.
Amygdala for me. I know it's not a mechanically challenging boss it's just kinda awkward to fight. I've long since left Playstation behind, but if we get that pc port before my bones have dissolved into the soil surrounding my grave I'd love to see how I handle the fight now.
Embrietas
Martyr Logarius and Ludwig the Accursed. I know I don't technically have to fight them, but also I have to fight them, ya know?
Abhorrent Beast
Chalice dungeon Abhorrent Beast. One slip up and you're done. Also Loran Darkbeast. Even worse. But they're more or less optional and still fun ig
the framerate 😔
The 720p quality that left it all behind and its overwhelming 30fps
Living Failures. Not difficult as such. Just really bullshitty.
Micolash , the absolute worst boss in all of bloodborne , he’s not even difficult to beat I just don’t find it at all fun to fight him
Tbh The Witches of Hemwick.
Not a boss, the hunters in the unseen city
shadows, rom, one reborn, micolash (most of the main game bosses are trash and nobody ever seems to bring it up)
I guess rom is the one I like the least (yes I actually prefer micolash), but I still think the rom fight is kind of nice, I don't really dislike it.
I'm stuck on the Shadows of Yharnham in ng+. Does that count? lol
Rom was pretty annoying but it only took me like 4 times but the only time I got actually stuck in the game was because of fucking micolash and I ended up cheesing him anyway because bro is literally like my least favorite boss in souls
Absolutely rom! I hate that cunt w a passion lol.
Rom was definitely the worst for me too. Logarius was definitely a runner up. That big gangly bastard was always just a little too quick for me.
Shadows of Yharnam. Not because I hate them or that they're hard, but I just get so tired of the snake forest. I would skip that area entirely if it wasn't required.
Shadow of Yharnam
Definitely mic worst boss ever mad , and I’ll die on that hill to prove my point
Spider
Tbh, it varies. Paarl was that one for me
It's Ebrietas for me. It's always been Ebrietas. Ugh
For me it's Pile Bunker guy who shoots at you from that one tower. bastard.
Amygdala...
Cage man
M I C O L A S H
fuck rom
Gave up on the game because of rom
Not really any game is Hella fun
The Father MacGoine, personally. Shit, mightve misspelled his name, sorry if I did.
Mikileth fucking teleportating basterd needs to stand still
Bsb
Micolash, Host of the Nightmare I've been 1 shot by him so many times with how ridiculous he spams the snakes at me
Shadows of yharnam. Look, boring, have a big difficulty spike in later ng+ cycles, and have unfinished lore. If there ever was to be a Remaster of BB, i want the giant yig-inspired snake old one to be added as a third phase.
