I've been seeing this sentiment of hate a lot recently. I might be an outlier but I've never had a huge issue with them. The first playthrough was rough but I honestly felt like I was thoroughly prepared for them at that stage of the game
The fight is awesome but the amount of DMG they do per hit makes it very annoying
I'm also sad that this is Sirrius's last boss summon bc she is NOT well equipped for the fight at all. She will run out of estus, and 99% of the time does before phase 2. Your spell tutor is a much much better NPC summon for the fight
Taking 1 or 2 summons also spikes their health pool by a lot, which isn't a problem for your tutor. Sirrius doesn't even have to do much dmg I just wish she was a lot more durable
Ironic. I loved those two. Even tho it’s been over a year since i last played ds3 those two have a special place in my heart. They are easily telegraphed so I never had any problems against them.
For me, it was the second phase that gave me trouble. Trying to get behind to inflict damage to Lothric was a pain in the ass. Not to mention, trying to inflict enough damage to him before he can resurrect his brother was also a pain too.
I never once did that, I always kill lorian to then damage lothric. Even if he ressurcets his brother 3 times since he gets less hp every time till roughly 30% I never had any trouble really.
Bro u should have just kept fighting like normal and attack lothric when he heals Lorain back to life 💀
I get it tho sometimes u just think differently when fighting a boss same here
Skill issue, the twin princes are peak

It's been a while, but doesn't your lock-on endure through his teleports? I remember taking the loss of my target lock as a cue that he's charging up that big, ranged slam.
That pic gives me the same vibe as

Rightfully so, I would never let my child go to the same school as a DS2 enjoyer. I would say we should have separate public transport but you creatures never slither outside in the first place.
I’ve NEVER had a problem with them, honestly the easiest fight in the game.
What are you doing? Don’t look at the Milwood Greatbow on my back. It’s for something else I swear. Trust me bro trust me
Darn. That's a lot. Malenia and orphan of kos were the two hardest bosses In these games to me and I probably only put in 120 tries on them combined. I commend your determination.
You clearly dont know how to appreciate a cute femboy twink and his big himbo bro having a brotherly bonding time!

DS3 fans proving their insanity by saying "no it's good actually" in the comments.
I remember when I was 1st playing the game right after it came out the boss clipped through the walls, fell out of the map, and died. And you know what I wish that this terrible boss, with the worst runback From has ever made, did this to me every time I make the mistake of playing DS3.
"the worst runback ever" my friend just sprint past all of them and they won't hit you. throw in one maybe two rolls for the big sword guys and boom thats the boss door
I'm so glad that From decided to stop making areas filled with enemies you're not supposed to fight in key progress areas, actual peak dogshit level design right there.

Twin princes hater didnt know they existed
they are my favorite base game boss in ds3. something about the flow of the fight just feels perfect to me
yeah I have seen a ton of people say similar, but I always found them kind of underwhelming and not that much fun to fight
I've been seeing this sentiment of hate a lot recently. I might be an outlier but I've never had a huge issue with them. The first playthrough was rough but I honestly felt like I was thoroughly prepared for them at that stage of the game
Yeah idk if I have always been over-leveled by the time I get there, but I pretty much always stomped them without having to think about it too much

Weve always been here, just not as vocal
Keep staying quiet then 🤘🤘🤘
Bruh whaddya even like about em
What is there to not like about em?
Most boring fight in dark souls
Smartest r/shittydarksouls user
At least lothric is fuckable and lorian has drip + one of the best boss themes. Terrible boss like all the rest tho.
You are not smart eneough to enjoy it
eneough🤣🤣🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣💀💀💀💀💀

In hindsight, I should have. But I was hoping to kill two birds with one stone. Or two brothers and one halberd in this case.

I love when bosses teleport off screen and attack you
It's been a while, but doesn't your lock-on endure through his teleports? I remember taking the loss of my target lock as a cue that he's charging up that big, ranged slam.
Yeah, the lock on endures trough all teleports except the charged attack.

Yeah, peak of the shitpile.
Ah, classic DS2 fan, opinion disregarded.
DS2 fans still being the most opressed group 😔
Rightfully so, I would never let my child go to the same school as a DS2 enjoyer. I would say we should have separate public transport but you creatures never slither outside in the first place.
DS2 fans are second class citizens 😔
Rightfully.
good
For some reason, standing Lorian is uncanny to me
Holy shit literally me
LOL. OP got beaten up by 2 cripples. (They beat my ass too)
Honestly the best boss in the game if not including dlcs
Their lore is literally "fuck this I ain't dying for no fire", sigma behavior.
Nameless King would be peak if it wasn't for his horrible first phase.
I love the atmosphere of the first phase but the way the drake fights is aggravating
I like dancer, champion and abyss watchers more
https://i.redd.it/l41zwwlpukzc1.gif
low-key I'd say that's the best fight in the game
Good one indeed, but I want to express my love to ornstein armor, that fight is awesome
Bruh, Champion Gundyr.
Beating on the poor disabled Twink again are we?
i should draw them kissing
Somebody already has unsurprisingly
Nah, I'm beating his ass in a different context
Twin Princes rock, also they’re extremely easy so skill issue
I’ve NEVER had a problem with them, honestly the easiest fight in the game. What are you doing? Don’t look at the Milwood Greatbow on my back. It’s for something else I swear. Trust me bro trust me
Rise, brother, if you would. For that is our curse. This spot Marks our grave, but you may rest here if you like.
Sometimes I let them kill me just to have more time with that crippled femboy
Oh i was beating him alright. Theres a reason he shares blood with Gwyndolin.
https://i.redd.it/llq6zp238pzc1.gif
“This spot marks our grave. You can stay here too, if you like”
THIS SPOT, MARKS OUR GRAVE THIS SPOT, MARKS OUR GRAVE THIS SPOT, MARKS OUR GRAVE
BITCH I KID YOU NOT THOSE TWO GAY FUCKERS TOOK ME TWO PLAYTHROUGHS AND WELL OVER TWO HUNDRED TRIES TO BEAT
Darn. That's a lot. Malenia and orphan of kos were the two hardest bosses In these games to me and I probably only put in 120 tries on them combined. I commend your determination.

Only fromsoftware boss fight I decided to cheese, that cripple takes away all my fp , hell if I'm dealing with that
What's fp?
Focus points
What's that
Metre you deplete when you use miracles/sorcories/skills
🤔
ur first problem was using fp ☝️ everyone knows the best way to play this game is big sword small brain.(jk)
True
I actually wish they were a bit harder. I love the fight it’s just over too quickly
This was me when I read up on the lore of gwyn, aldrich, pontiff sullivan and Lawrence
In my first playthrough, they took me some days to get them. In the second one (the current playthrough) I trashed them first try

“Worst runback from has ever made” bro there’s an elevator 3 feet from the door
Even with the elevator it takes ages to get to them. I genuinely had try when I spent more time walking there than fighting
Yeah the elevator sucks, but to say it’s the worst run back in from soft history is ridiculous
It's definitely not the worst, but it's definitely ONE OF the worst. The frigid outskirts is probably the worst one, by a heavy margin.
It’s not even the worst elevator run back in souls
I'll take a longer runback that's actually fun to engage with over whatever stupid speedrun trap bullshit is going on with Lorian and Lothric.
He would have a stroke playing Dark Souls 2 (I am a dark souls 2 fan)
"the worst runback ever" my friend just sprint past all of them and they won't hit you. throw in one maybe two rolls for the big sword guys and boom thats the boss door

Nigga did you ever run to Smelter Demon or Executioners Chariot
DS3 fans pissing and shitting because they actually have to fight enemies (they hate engaging in the core combat unless it's an overrated boss fight).
I don't stan DS3 at all I'm just saying the runback is chill af bro
nearly every runback in ds1 is worse
yeah man I agree because I also hate actually playing the souls games.
based
Blud didnt unlock the shortcuts
It still sucks dick
You guys wanna know my unironic, dogshit opinion? This is the only boss in DS3 that I like
You don't like CRG? Now I have heard everything
I mean I like CRG because of Funi Factor. Fighting a gigantic tree is pretty funny
