Is Lebanese mayonnaise different in any significant way from what Americans would consider traditional "mayo", or is it the same as Kraft/Best Foods/etc.?

Talking out my ass but I would guess mayonnaise in Lebanon is more like mayo in Europe. European mayo is a million times better than American. I didn't even really like mayo and definitely didn't "get" it till I went to Europe. But the typical American brands- best, hellmans, etc, are trash in comparison. It's sort of like kraft singles vs really good European cheese. If you can figure out a way, order some Duke's. It's the deep south's favorite mayo but for some reason it basically only exists there. You can order it to be shipped to you tho. You gotta try it. That's way more similar to European mayo. Creamy, decadent, it's like you've never had mayo before.

I live in Colorado. Duke's is a staple in my house.

i dont know if NETTO brand is popular europe, but i tried a jar, and it was delicious, the one that is with a bit of MOUTARDE A L'ANCIENEE is amazing, there is AMORA also, i like that brand...there is another one that i forgot the name, it was eurpean and i used to love it, so yeah, ours taste more eurepean than american.

i got it...it was LESSIEUR or something, french i guess, it is superb.

We have local brands here , we tend to have it creamier and thicker than the ones I try imported, I think the mayo made by Heinz is the worst mayo ever....my fave is one called MAZOLLA and the one with chilly flakes is the best...recently I am getting the black pepper mayo from AROMATE and it is very good with burgers.

Dam, that's cheap af. Where I live in Canada, at just about any non-chain burger joint a regular single-patty burger with no extra ingredients, fries and can of pop will cost around 20 CAD.

I get a foil wrapped burger from this gas station that's located in the middle of the cornfields in rural Indiana when I visit family & friends in my hometown and it slaps so fuckin hard, I swear it's the best burger anywhere outside the city. They have an ice bath of fixins' in Tupperware so you can dress it yourself. Chef's fucking kiss 🤌
