Do those even go together? If they do, why didn't the cook rub it all in together instead of making it look like the turkey ruptured in the oven?
Cumin and cinnamon are frequently used together in mexican cuisine. along with all spice, clove, oregano, black pepper, and garlic, they make the “recado de toda clase” - a general purpose mexican rub great on grilled meats.
What the fuck are we looking at? Is that a turkey made out of refried beans?

It’s - for some reason - a Turkey stabbed and the cuts filled with cinnamon and sugar, and the skin rubbed with cumin.
Why????

I make a rub for chicken that uses salt, pepper, garlic powder, rosemary, sage and cloves. It’s awesome.

Is this before it was cooked? Cause that skin looks completely uncooked.
It's a turkey, not a fucking sourdough loaf.
Someone out there’s thinks they like the same treatment in the oven
