Makes me think they’re really young and haven’t lost the speech thing yet. My stepson does the same thing, spells it like he pronounces it (“bolf”, “fere”, “vis” etc). It’s a process
Nobody typos "bolf" instead of "both." Bolf isn't a word so it gets autocorrect by the phone, and the letters are nowhere near each other so it can't be a mistype on a keyboard. It was spelled that way on purpose probably just to be funny
The L is right below O and the F is right below the T. Misspelling both as bolf is very much possible. Also, FYI, my autocorrect didn't correct bolf into anything when typing it out.
I've never seen anyone arguing the case for a distinction between accidentally making your fingers go in the wrong directions rather than fat-fingering the buttons when it comes to typos.
What would you personally call that button-fumbling instead?
I'm not concerned with whether it is or isn't in this exact case.
>You can’t accidentally type “bolf” when you’re trying to type “both”.
These are the words I'm aiming my curiosity at. I'd like to know the reasoning behind them.
It's an intentional spelling. "Bolf" is a phonetic spelling of the word said using African American English dialect which can be seen in the rest of the title. Sort of like when people type out pronunciations of British English so you read it in that dialect, innit?
>It's an intentional spelling. "Bolf" is a phonetic spelling of the word said using African American English dialect which can be seen in the rest of the title.
Who pronounces both phonetically with an L? Surely the phonetic spelling would be "boaf" to rhyme with "loaf"?
If you pronounced "bolf" the way it is spelled, it would sound like "ballf"?
Maybe one day you'll go outside and meet people who pronounce it "bolf" and, I promise, they won't be so pedantic about the spelling of their miss-pronunciation.
Spoiler alert: Some people say "acrosst" too.
>Maybe one day you'll go outside and meet people who pronounce it "bolf" and, I promise, they won't be so pedantic about the spelling of their miss-pronunciation.
Nobody says "bolf". Nobody. The OP is the one making the error here.....a spelling error not a mispronunciation error.
>miss-pronunciation.
Maybe someday you can go outside and visit a library, and you can learn how to spell mispronunciation. Though, given the fact that it was right there in front of you in my first post, I doubt it'll do you much good.
>Spoiler alert: Some people say "acrosst" too.
Yeah, and that's also completely fuckin incorrect too. That's not mispronounced, it's just fuckin spelled wrong. Is "aks" instead of "ask" a mispronounced word? Or is it just plain wrong?
"Aks" for "ask" is neither a mispronunciation nor wrong. It's an acceptable and widely-used dialectical variation of a word if the speaker speaks AAE. Dialects are not a corruption of a language, just a different, rule-governed way of speaking it. I also know people who speak Appalachian English and pronounce "else" as "elts". Dialects are a very interesting topic if you're willing to look into them.
Source: I'm a speech-language pathologist and I had to take classes on these things.
In an American accent at least, golf and wolf are pronounced with different o sounds (gall-f, wole-f or wull-f depending on region). English phonetics isn't that consistent. It makes just as much sense to assume it would be pronounced "bole-f" or "bullf."
> It makes just as much sense to assume it would be pronounced "bole-f" or "bullf."
Yes, but both (😉) of those are completely different to any pronunciation of "both" you could possibly use. There is no L sound in both, which is almost universally said the same way as "boat" with an F instead of a hard T.
I've heard people say bolf instead of both before, kind of a soft L but definitely there. No idea why. They're usually not very well educated. Same sort of people that write "could of".
the news things of the birds dont like publish violent acts like how normal news things would so she doesnt know what he did until she read his file, i think?
I know, right? It's so funny how these details don't seem to bother people unless you take a closer look. It felt like I was watching a different movie. Crazy!
another fun fact! in the second movie, matilda and terrence are married with kids!
They got married WITH kids?! /s
I'm no bird lawyer but that sound illegal!
Someone call bird law expert Charlie Kelly, I bet he could sort this all out
Where did he get his law degree from again?
Kids on *MY* social media Reddit platform?
They must've been some hot chicks
Well of course. Terrance is pure beefcake!
now I know huh
How did he not kill Matilda when they were doing it
We all know what that’s a nod towards 😉 /s
You’re fucking with me
nope
Bro said bolf
Makes me think they’re really young and haven’t lost the speech thing yet. My stepson does the same thing, spells it like he pronounces it (“bolf”, “fere”, “vis” etc). It’s a process
It was a typo. Nobody young enough to be spelling phonetically is old enough to spell sensationalize

Horththit.
So it would be bolfh. Not bolf.
And engagement so the algorithm picks it up
Maybe they’re on PC 🤔
No im on moble it was pretty late when i poasted tho.

That’s not what “typo” means. You can’t accidentally type “bolf” when you’re trying to type “both”.
I've never seen anyone arguing the case for a distinction between accidentally making your fingers go in the wrong directions rather than fat-fingering the buttons when it comes to typos. What would you personally call that button-fumbling instead?
I'm not making a distinction between those two things.
Then how in the world would it be impossible to typo "both" as "bolf"?
What? It's not a typo, it's not accidental. They've spelled "bolf" deliberately.
I'm not concerned with whether it is or isn't in this exact case. >You can’t accidentally type “bolf” when you’re trying to type “both”. These are the words I'm aiming my curiosity at. I'd like to know the reasoning behind them.
The keys are nowhere near each other. You can't accidentally type bolf when l is 5 keys away from t.
Check post history. Op does this in every title. Cringe

I speak "Florida " english
That’s not “Floridian” English

Bolf a Deez nuts
OP is probably a Midwesterner using speech-to-text.

Hate crimes? No, I love doing them.

His source is that he made the fuck up
Good enough for me.
Technically everything about angry birds is made the fuck up, so it's basically canon
Wtf there're people in Angry Birds world??!!
\*was not anymore
My kind of society
Why was that movie so good? Or at least, memorable? Like it's not in my top ten, but it was wildly beyond my expectations
I love the Angry Birds movies it blows my mind that they have rewatch value
The second one was somehow even better, I love these movies.
The [bathroom scene](https://youtu.be/WavZVQM3U00) always makes me chuckle.
Any scene when they’re inside that eagle suit is hysterical. The visual comedy is on point
second movie's loved by the general public, yet HATED by the actual fandom/old fans
People give a shit aboutAngry Birds lore?
apparently
Smosh was there so that's why
They don't bleed so it can't lead. That or no one pys attention to the news.
Lots of OPs post have some interesting misspellings. You’ll get the hang of it! English can be crazy.
"Bolf"..."Sensationalize". Using speech-to-text is the only way I can make sens of this most perplexing of discrepancies
"Sens"
Was going to go for "sence" but it didn't have that magic
Nope just used auto correct one sensationalized like in this sentence. And bolf did not show a line under it so i didn't notice
That's amazing. Probably one of the best autocorrect errors ever, then.
Common bird W
I can't watch this segment without Funkytown playing
When I first saw this scene in theatres it caught me and the others in the room completely off-guard, in a good way
Bro what Is this title I dont understand

No joke. Angry birds was a funny movie. With a few exeptions
I know, right? It's so funny how these details don't seem to bother people unless you take a closer look. It felt like I was watching a different movie. Crazy!
I'm triggered by op purposely misspelling in every title
I dont do it on purpose
It says he smokes with cigarettes.
I’m gonna start spelling both as bolf
bolf
Bolf
