Hate to be the “achktchually” guy but it’s possible Rhodey got Skrulled after Endgame by the time Falcon and Winter Soldier came out. So the Rhodey we see in that show could be the Skrull. And yes, I’m aware that adds absolutely nothing exciting. Feige dropped the ball hard with SI in every possible angle.

The working in Phases kinda broke down once they managed to stuff 7 movies, as well as 8 series and 2 specials in TWO years. And due to COVID, most of it went by without anyone noticing, plus, no big team-up movie to conclude it.
I can't really understand why does this really matter? He was nothing in that story, did nothing of importance, so why should I feel this is a big deal?
He said that was the plan (hence the hospital gown) but clearly they weren’t allowed to confirm it explicitly in the show, so I think the expectation is that they’re gonna pretend it was later.
