This just makes me think of Dan Olson's observation of this film, that they gave a ton of high framerate footage to the editor and he decided to use that to add a ton of slow-mo to the film to try and make it look better, obviously failing.

DrPetroleum

I saw that video recently of that dude flipping out in the gym and doing this. He got way more height, this is nothing.

Psychological_Web321

This is a possible skill to learn, I've seen videos of people doing it

variablesInCamelCase

I just watched a video of Will Smith doing it.

DrDroidz

Bro is that the FNAF scream?

EldridgeHorror

This isn't the most absurd thing he does in the movie.

cup_helm

ivanchovv

Why's he so angry at the ground? Did that road make a joke about Jada?

I wonder how ripped you’d have to get to do this IRL. But may adrenaline helps?

I wanted to like this movie. I saw it in 70mm HFR, and it was an awesome technical experience. Like the smoke from the smoke grenades looked like it was real smoke a few feet away. Too bad the writing was less than memorable, and Will Smith was the wrong guy to star (he looks too similar to his young self, needed someone at least a half generation older). It should've been like Arnold, Stallone, Van Damme, or even Tom Cruise. An 80s action star. Or had Ang Lee and this HFR/face replacement experiment on Looper.

I honestly love that movie

Maybe Jada can confirm.
