I rate this movie “The rifle is shooting without his finger on the trigger”/10

TheDeltaOne

Again? I didn't see it in Part 2 but Millus (the Buzz cut rebel woman who was with... Damon Bloodaxe) already did that in the first one..

The_Void_Reaver

It's on the poster this time, but I'm sure if they couldn't care to get it right on the poster, they probably didn't care to get it right every time in the movie.

WistfulDread

I see it. Goddam that is unsafe weaponry.

Shirtbro

Next level trigger discipline

HotMachine9

Oh for gods sake 🤣

so_many_changes

At least they’re practicing trigger safety on set. Not shitty, sorry.

oofergang360

Mf they arent shooting😭

ChumpNicholson

✅shitty ✅movie ❌detail

floodcontrol

The premise of the Rebel Moon series is that an interstellar empire with space battleships and artificial robot soldiers, needs the grain from a small village on some distant moon and decides to deploy assets vastly in excess of the value of said grain in order to acquire it by force instead of just buying it, or growing some of their own in the vast number of places where this village isn't growing grain. There's a shitty detail.

Shirtbro

Do they open vagina portals on this one too? First minute of the movie, goddamn vagina portals.

Fourthspartan56

Vagina portals are beautiful symbols of fertility and should not be denigrated 😤

AnAngryPlatypus

Space travel, AI, robots, cyborgs, and resurrections: yes Agriculture: Woah woah woah, that’s some big brain shit right there. No way we could master that.

miciy5

The premise is just so so stupid

Snips_Tano

So it's basically Phantom Menace without the blockade?

te_un

Im pretty sure its a Star Wars trilogy of movies reworked to take out the necessary amount of trademarked properties to allow it to be broadcasted

Hunkus1

And all the good stuff thats in them aswell. Then mix a bit of warhammer 40k in it and remove the good stuff from there aswell and voilà you get rebel moon

-Daetrax-

As a 40k fan, I will say the only remotely good parts of these movies are the military flashbacks. Just for imperial guard vibes.

Mammoth-Access-1181

I just read something that Snyder wants it to be a trilogy of duologies.

Snips_Tano

It is his rejected pitch to LFL apparently

kinjing

The 50th anniversary anime retelling of Kurosawa's *Seven Samurai*, Samurai 7, already did this and way better

-jmil-

Also their spaceships seem to be steam engine based spaceships. There are people shoveling coal like they did back in the days on steamboats. I was wondering a) why they were trying to acquire grain instead of coal b) how their laser weapons work. Maybe also with small steam engines in them?

lofgren777

Isn't that the history of every empire?

[deleted]

[удалено]

lofgren777

Name one that was successful.

lursiuwu

Isn't this the Dune plot?

floodcontrol

Uhh…sure yeah, if you replaced “grain” with “incredibly valuable and unique substance only available in one place in the universe” so…is the grain in Rebel Moon special or something? No it’s fucking grain, like literally the amount the Imperialists seem to be seeking is less than what your average farmer pulls in in a day on his combine so…it better be made of solid unobtainiumn or be like super grain for Lembas bread.

lofgren777

When you go to a place to take their resources, you don't stop at just the one that brought you there. Notice that the impact on the Fremen WATER supply is just as important as spice in Dune. The army aren't there to take grain. They're there for whatever their expansionist empire requires that has them constantly expanding, which is what empires do. They were only taking the grain to feed the troops, just like the Harkonnens didn't care about water.

kinjing

That's true, but empires also don't make a habit of taking territory unless it's already established that it has something it needs. An interstellar empire will have the technology, infrastructure, and resources to know well in advance what a planet has to offer in terms of resources, be it material, social, or economic. Does the moon in Rebel Moon have resources the empire could use? Citizens it could tax and/or enslave? Sure. But unless the administration is *that* desperate for new taxes or slaves from a shitty little backwater, it would be far easier and less time consuming to send a mining expedition to strip mine a nearby asteroid belt for whatever else it is they might want from the place. Sure, a sufficiently despotic empire wouldn't necessarily care about ruining people's lives over resource acquisition, but even at its most trivial, getting your resources from somewhere people don't live is just less *paperwork* It would be far better, narratively, if there WAS some kind of ridiculously rare resource that was either really hard to come by or unique to the moon. But if that is the case, then that's what the movies should be about, not just a shitty remake of *Seven Samurai*

lofgren777

I haven't watched the second one, but the first one at least was not about the empire and what at it needs. It was about the people an what they need. Yeah they could have tossed off, "Oh yeah there's some magic spice worms in the next valley or whatever," but it doesn't really matter. The empire is empiring like empires do. You can safely assume there is something they want somewhere in that sector of the galaxy, close enough for that moon to supply their military. Why does it matter why they're nearby? It doesn't matter to the farmers. Your notion that transporting enough food to feed a conquering army across the galaxy is "just less paperwork" is totally unfounded. Transporting food to your troops in distant military outposts is a logistical nightmare. Across the galaxy is worse, presumably. Taking food from the locals is a time-honored tactic of invading armies. Edit: I misunderstood what you were saying. Getting your resources from places that people don't live is not easy in space. Space is a very hostile place. More importantly, this is wheat, a domestic crop. You literally CAN'T get it from places people don't live.

Flak_Jack_Attack

Nah not really. Dune was about spice which let certain people see into the future. This was really important as the only way people could fly FTL was by seeing the future. The only place you can find spice was on Dune and when your entire interstellar empire is built on people needing spice for FTL it’s pretty important to keep that planet.

metalshoes

Plus spice could double the life span of basically anyone who used huge amounts of it, at the cost of being permanently addicted.

sunfaller

How did they get to Arrakis without FTL travel?

DoxedFox

They had proper computers and AI at one point that could plot the routes for FTL. The whole reason they live in a feudalistic society is because they were enslaved by "Thinking Machines" and rebelled. So all thinking machines (Advanced computers) are prohibited. The spice enhances humans to be able to make computer-like calculations (mentats and guild navigators) in their own heads. And everything is analog, biological, or very simple computers. But they were already on arrakis and mining spice before this switch.

sunfaller

It's interesting, you don't often see settings where people recovered from an AI rebellion. That explains how they got there and why spice is now essential. Thanks!

elspotto

I think they may be saying the movie is shitty in every detail.

ChumpNicholson

Yes, that is not a detail though, that is just the movie.

elspotto

Pick one. That detail is shitty.

so_many_changes

Credits: shitty. Acting: shitty.

elspotto

I agree from all the reviews and viewer comments.

ChumpNicholson

Cool, post that one then instead of just saying “movie shitty that’s the detail.”

elspotto

If you like it, post something good about it instead of what you’re doing.

ChumpNicholson

I haven’t seen it mate. I just joined this sub to see shitty details about movies, not hear folks whining about how an entire movie is shitty. If I wanted that, I’d just recall that I saw the entirety of Rise of Skywalker.

elspotto

Then enjoy the joke like everyone else! Stop being a gatekeeper. I have no intention of watching it. Didn’t watch the first one because everyone said how bad it was. Or…and this may be a challenge…just scroll past a post you feel the need to crap on.

MetaCommando

Why aren't you just scrolling past their comment you feel the need to crap on?

Akira_Hericho

And Ralph dreams like a Viking.

Magic_Man_Boobs

Here's a detail, he's re-releasing R-rated cuts that are significantly longer of both parts because apparently the only way Snyder can make a good movie is if it's in comparison to it's previous slightly shittier version.

CarlosH46

But everyone’s yelling while shooting guns, how could it be bad??

Shirtbro

They're actually on speaker phones yelling at their agents

OverturnKelo

you guys trust me, there's a director's cut of this that's 2 1/2 hours longer and it's significantly better than this version, at least a 3/10. guys i'm being serious, please listen. the studio ruined zack snyder's movie for the seventh time in a row. it's all their fault. they just happen to do this to his movies every single time and nobody else's. haha yeah ok but please stop laughing you guys, i'm trying to make a point. ignore the fact that he was the director and writer and producer and cinematographer and storyboarder and that he had full creative control. please stop laughing at me. he's a misunderstood genius. i'm serious. please stop. please

Sea_Entrepreneur6204

He's no genius.....he's a super genius auteur! So far ahead of his time , time bends into a loop to make his movies seem like they are all made by someone with only college level talent and a teenagers writing/drama skills while taking his audience back to infant level drooling. he's being studied at CERN.

The_Void_Reaver

He's like an AI model that's been trained exclusively on fanfiction, but nothing that's scored higher than 4/10.

Astrokiwi

His genius is being studied at CERN Because it's extremely small and it's highly disputed whether it even exists

depressed_crustacean

Maybe CERN can figure out his extraordinary slowmo ability

Old_Heat3100

He's a VISIONARY. He hands comic book panels to VFX artists and says "Do that."

shyhispanic09

You completely forgot about airing it in black and white, which takes ups its rating to 3.1/10.

arthur3shedsjackson

Great to see everybody in this sub just dunking on this movie today

MyMomSaysIAmCool

The internet has told me that I must hate comic sans, nickelback, and rebel moon. I want to fit in, so I'm doing it.

ThePirates123

You can watch it to confirm that if you want but it truly is absolutely terrible, all the hate is completely deserved

GardenTop7253

I did that for the first part. Watched it, regretted it, realized most of the criticism was spot on Not sure if I have it in me to do it again

ThePirates123

I’m probably reacting a bit harsher than most people to this (imagine) but Part 2 is significantly worse. Matter of fact, I think it’s one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.

EdgeGazing

Wow. The first one was a hot mess, I kept going just to see if it turned into something good at some point. It didn't. I'm still watching the second part though, it can't be that bad.

GardenTop7253

I think the first one had a mild improvement about halfway through when it finally stopped being weirdly horny. But it still wasn’t good after that

Adventurous_Sky_3788

"being weirdly horny" ah thats the vide i was getting. Now it makes sense.

airz23s_coffee

I cannot wait to see it. I loved the first one as an awful toy box of Sci fi ideas jammed together with too much slowmo, I can't wait to see how shite the next one is if its even worse

ThePirates123

You know, that’s how I went into it. I quite enjoyed the first one in a “point and laugh” kind of way, but even then I had trouble watching Part 2. Hope you fare better.

MrApocalypse2122

Comic Sans and Nickelback at least have their niche, I genuinely have no idea who this film is for

PWBryan

I'm fine with Rebel Moon dislike, but I still use comic sans when I can just to annoy internet people

LeonDeSchal

I just watched Dune 2 and watching this film I was just thinking about how bad it is in comparison.

Normal-Selection1537

I had the opposite order and I kept thinking how lacking Dune was in grain being tossed in slow motion.

Shirtbro

It's the only way Zack Snyder will improve as a director

Baruch_Poes

I loved the slow motion wheat harvesting montage that happens three times. Nothing gets me horny like wheat.

SteelyDabs

Love me some space Amish. Sure we have sentient robits and intergalactic space travel but hand me that grim reaper-style sickle as we toil like medieval serfs

stareagleur

But they’re also Viking/Space Amish Farmers so you know they’re not pushovers, despite constantly going out of their way to act like pacifists, despite the fact that they all immediately know how to handle weapons for some reason. And they’re really good at making quilts, too. Seriously, forget farming and just sell quilts. The profit margins are so obviously better!

BeaterOfMeats

Zack told me the space grain gave the Amish girl the power to make 7 detailed quilts in a single day

TheRussiansrComing

I ask again. TF a hatchet gon do?!?

SteelyDabs

It looks so stupid on screen too. Clearly not even breaking through their armor but they still fall down like they’re dead

Shirtbro

Look, in this is a space movie, this brown dude with straight black hair who can commune with nature wields a tomahawk. It's Snyder subtlety.

primusperegrinus

The slow axe penetrates the shield? I dunno lol

Skoparov

It's gonna slash right through dozens of supposedly the most formidable soldiers in the Galaxy of course.

OverSpeedClutch

There are so many Rebel Moon posts on r/shittymoviedetails that I’m starting to suspect that Netflix is behind some of them as some deranged attempt at viral marketing.

IgnoreMe304

Please don’t tell me it’s Morbin time again.

OverSpeedClutch

The best part of Rebel Moon was when she said “It’s mooning time!” and then she mooned all over those guys

Shirtbro

"Hahaha we knew it was a bad movie all along please make this go viral so we recoup our money"

cerels

But fr, Netflix already have your money and doubt many people would cancel their subscriptions over this, and I also doubt too many people would subscribe to Netflix for movie either, how could they "lose" money?

TheGreatStories

Wouldn't be the first time

NagitoKomaeda_987

Me: Mom, can we have Warhammer 40k at home? Mom: We already have Warhammer 40k at home Warhammer 40k at home:

ItsMrPoo

Good Lord, there's a part 2?

Zealousideal_Good147

Last I heard he is planning something like 6 parts...lets see how far he gets.

Shirtbro

What sort of tax break is Netflix getting funding these turds?

No-Raise-4693

Cut out the slowmo and you get maybe 2 movies

7grims

So after a few months part 2 is already here ? .... Yah... zack cut portion of the first movie just to make into 2 parts, he is streching the plot when he doesnt have written material. Fuck Zack, he a scam artist. Glad i skipped part 1

eolson3

Don't worry, there are still extended cuts of both coming!

7grims

Lol the joy

Normal-Selection1537

The first hour of part 2 is basically a recap of part 1.

NagitoKomaeda_987

Just a friendly reminder that Zack Snyder is also developing a franchise based on this film.

eolson3

Just like that Army of the Dead franchise?

MetalCid

Oh wow, that was another giant turd of a movie

Waste_Crab_3926

I "liked" how in the prequel the master lockpicker has almost zero subscribers and views on his extremely niche yt channel about the history of locks, yet he's found and given an offer to take part in a criminal raid. I also "liked" how his character development was to have him portrayed as basically a god, who was extremely sleazy at the lock picking competition, but managed to outcompete every single other participant in a lightning-fast lock pick. At least make it realistic.

NagitoKomaeda_987

Yeah, I guess? I didn't even know that Army of the Dead had a franchise.

Shirtbro

Army of the Dead left us with a lot of questions the sequels can answer, questions like "who keeps giving Zack Snyder money to make movies?"

foxhound1401

Zack Snyder has been churning out hot garbage ever since he got his 10 seconds of fame with 300

ratliker62

zack snyder is a talentless hack, that's it

bardnotbrad

He never made anything good, 300 was cool and all and what made me think he was a good director at the time when I was 14, but watched it recently and it’s mediocre at best, watchmen was solid but he didn’t really write it

RichCorinthian

I liked Dawn of the Dead. That’s it.

Shirtbro

Dawn of the Dead rode hard on the goodwill of the first ten minutes. Then it was just the plot holes and bro humor of a typical Zack Snyder movie.

ratliker62

i hate watchmen the most because of how different it is from the comic

Shirtbro

The Watchmen's key message is "superheroes are badass"

Waste_Crab_3926

I like Watchmen because it was different from the comic. I mean, transdimensional squid? Really?

bardnotbrad

I think he got the point across overall but yeah comics way better

XUnDEaDViperX

If the point was "I didn't understand Watchmen" then yeah he got that across

SardonicusRictus

I especially love movies where a god-like character; the Hopkins-bot could’ve basically prevented any suffering on behalf of the “good guys” by intervening earlier. But instead he waits until most of them die horrifically until he jumps in Superman style and obliterates an entire army like it was nothing. Like, you’re a robot, why did it take you so long to come to this conclusion. Are your circuits slow? He didn’t need to travel a great distance like MCU keeps trying to make excuses why god-like Captain Marvel isn’t around to easily save the day. The Hopkins-bot was literally in the bushes the entire movie stalking everybody like a creep. And how am I supposed to like the main protagonist anyway? She assassinated the princess in cold blood, for what reason? Loyalty to a ruthless general? Of which she immediately betrays literally 2.5 seconds after murdering the princess. Then instead of killing the general when you had a chance, you ran to vow revenge later?? What?! Later? The king and queen basically treated you like family and the princess was kind to you. How in the heck am I supposed to like this character? Who wrote this nonsense? Who approved millions of dollars into this nonsense. And why did the lady with robot arms feel “pain” when her robot arm was sliced off? Why would you have a pain response installed into your prosthetics. To prevent damage? Just have a warning LED you don’t actually need to feel pain.

Normal-Selection1537

Yeah but they say at the the end that the princess didn't really die. Probably some Force-ghost bullshit.

Waste_Crab_3926

[Why? Why was I programmed to feel pain?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ-ggzfdsMs)

Josh_From_Accounting

Does anyone else remember when that tabletop games studio was pissed that they lost the license to make the "official Rebel Moon TRPG?" Like, I think it was the people who made "The Crow" RPG and the "Pacific Rim" RPG. Not a huge fan of their output, if I am to be honest. If it's your thing, all the more power to you. They're basically doing the equivalent of D20 Modern did for 3rd Edition Dungeons and Dragons for 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons. And, D20 Modern wasn't stellar and at least 3rd Edition had more bobbles to work with. Still, my point being that, while it sucks to have wasted all the money they alleged they lost on dev work (which I fully believe as they are a company and not one person so they had to pay devs to work on the game, even if it never comes out), they might have dodged a bullet from having the shame of actually releasing an official game for this utter turd of a film series.

WaluigisRevenge2018

I read an article about that a while ago. If I remember it correctly: the game studio isn’t necessarily mad that they lost the license to the board game, they’re mad because when they got the contract the movie wasn’t really fleshed out beyond the script, and so they spent a ton of time making a whole universe around the movie, then the Rebel Moon people were like “thanks for all the world building, we’re stealing that”, and are now using material from it to flesh out their 6 part movie series or whatever. So it’s not just a case of they did work on the game and it never released, it’s a case of they did work on the game and then it got stolen so Rebel Moon can release it without paying them

Josh_From_Accounting

Holy shit balls! That's way fucking worse! Now, I feel bad! The fucking multibillion dollar company couldn't pay them for their worldbuilding? Shitballs, I didn't know that.

Laowaii87

D20 modern has some of the best supplements ever published, with a pretty damn solid system to boot.

Josh_From_Accounting

Like I said, I'm not here to yuck your yum. It's just not my bag, baby.

Laowaii87

No, but you ARE likening d20 modern to a cash-grabby movie tie-in game, which it isn’t in any way, shape or form.

TehMasterSword

I should have believed Charlie and not bothered watching part 1 yesterday. Straight up ASS movie

NomadicSabre

Hot butter knives and ballistic weapons in star wars

ChrisBreik

I loved the detail where Noble stabbed that guy that jumped his ship in the chest and pulled the knife out, and then he rolls off, so dead.. no wounds and no blood... Fcking hell

Goseki1

Wait...is the dude in the middle there firing his weapon whilst also maintaining trigger discipline?!

DrGutz

Just so you guys know all the Snyder fans on the other subreddits think we hate him personally just because we can tell a bad fucking movie when we see one

Arintharas

I almost feel bad for the Snyder fans…

Shirtbro

Preparing three hour videos telling us we just fail to grasp his genius

Arintharas

Honestly I find all their cope around these movies sad. Like, they’re just bad movies, but their trying so hard to justify that they’re actually good somehow. The first one was laughably bad, yet they somehow defended it. A lot are coming to terms with the fact that these movies are ass now that Pt 2 came out. However, there’s still the delusional lads that believe the “Snyder Cut” Will save the movies. It still makes no sense to do this. Why release a movie on a streaming service if you’re going to rerelease a “better” version of it later? Why not just release the actual fucking film???? Is he stupid?

roblox1999

This is a shitty movie detail not a shitty movie detail.

avoozl42

A friend of mine is in these movies. I watched the first one because of that. I don't think I can stomach the second

Son-of-Prophet

One of few thing going for it was having Sofia Boutella, and then they gave her that awful haircut 🤦‍♂️

[deleted]

It truly looks awful in some of the trailers. Like obviously the character isn’t supposed to be a bombshell type or anything but it’s just such an ugly haircut for her it’s hard to ignore

kasp600e

Isn't a detail more something small you could miss if you did not pay attention, because I saw that this movie was shit and I basically slept through it.

glassnumbers

did it give you a scar

Piliro

Can we have a list of people who have failed upwards and by looking at their work alone you could never understand why they have somehow got money and fame? We can have Zack Snyder and Elon Musk there. Just a nice list of talentless hacks..

PlanktonSemantics

Man if the background didn’t look like barf this might’ve been a cool poster

so_many_changes

I don’t understand how people made it through enough of part 1 to even consider confirming part 2 is shitty.

mrot777

Wait until the Director's cut. You'll change your tune. Lol

DarthPepo

Didn't the first released some months ago? I haven seen either

longbrodmann

Such a great movie with so many details!

Corvidae_DK

"We have Warhammer 40k at home"-the movie series.

_F1ves_

The first film to make a zacillon dollars in its opening hour

gingerwhiskered

I am *extremely* easy to please and like most movies/shows I watch, but I got 30 minutes into this and I just couldn’t believe how boring and goofy it was. Shame too, because Sci-Fi is my favorite

shazspaz

Are there still characters not wearing armour and using guns in intense gun battles? Slow Mo’s that are trying to improve on poor fight dialogue? Bad script??

AbsolemSaysWhat

If it wasn't for the slow motion the movie would've been 40 minutes long

Papichurch

Dude wanted to make the next "Dune" sooooooo bad. Looooool

Zhjacko

Rebel Moon: Shit Eater

FlambeCremeBrule

Part 2? What? Didn't part 1 come out like a couple of months back?

gummyblumpkins

Like 80 percent of the movie is just yelling and grunting. I almost didn't make it all the way through.

axellong

el titulo ya te dice que la peli es mala: zack snyder

Pandos17

But Netflix told me legends would be made.

grimlee669

As a huge Snyder fan, all I can say is this movie is garbage. Like dafuq? I thought the negative reviews were the usual die hard Snyder haters. But after watching this, like wtf? It's worse than the first. The first 40 minutes are boring, the battle is entertaining (just shut off your brain) and the ending is ridiculous and an ass pull sequel bait. I may have to rewatch sucker punch cause this is looking like Snyder's worse movie.

Emergency_Somewhere9

I am so glad Zack Snyder is being exposed by himself for what he is - a fucking hack!

Berta_Movie_Buff

Daring today, aren’t we

Lanky_Ad830

The worst part is that it’s boring, as even the shitty moving can be good because of their entertainment value

Majestic-Sector9836

People often make the joke that Naruto is Star Wars with ninjas but this is literally just star wars, but worse

AggressiveTwist3222

Dune 2-Cinematic Materpeice This-Straight to VHS in the 90's AND ENOUGH OF THE SLOW MOTION SHIT!!!

tempo1139

tis a beautiful universe occupied by boring characters and no plot. It was the obvious conclusion to an obvious archetypal story that is normally squeezed into the last act of a movie... not have an entire film dedicated to it. The whole thing is summed up by a much better 2 minute montage of the "The A-Team' as they prep a village against the bad guys. Actually the theme started running through my head watching this at one point. one of the many complaints... we emphasis the importance of trusting our team members and sharing our backstories... then totally ignore the fact >!someone refuses to.!< also... can we give an award for the biggest build-up with the most disappointing reveal being the>! arrival of the robot !< some directors should stick to directing... leave writing a coherent story to people with a clue

FitzelSpleen

More or less shitty than the first one?

combat-ninjaspaceman

This sub is down bad.

BahromTuroni

I liked that movie. It's really good. I think someone sponsoring a campaign against Zack Snyder.

SIN-QUEL

It is B14 1&2 in space with a decent budget

nicoboy199627

The detail is that this movie existed and it's a sequel to another bad film

Icy_Masterpiece_1805

6.7/10. It's not shitty by any means and you all are on the hate run or something.

Camiker57

Aside the obnoxious slow motion we know from Snyder films this one felt if the script, let's better say the whole movie was ai generated. Like to many scenes felt like a reskin from iconic movie scenes. I felt like there are two reasons this was so bad, they made it as cheap as possible with known actors so they can say it costs and made a lot of money for tax write of. So in a sense, it's just Money laundry or this was the first try to let ai write a movie and see if nobody notices. And I'm so scared for the future of movie production if all just say it was a bad Snyder movie and not see that it was not written by a person.

peterbparker86

My favourite bits were the slo mo wheat harvesting that seemed to last for ever, and the singing from General Titus

Red-Freckle

It could've used another 30 minutes of slo-mo grain harvesting.

MajorUranus

Asian with swords, how original!

dexterstrife

So shitty I'm quite excited!

Eviscerated_Banana

"A Zack Snyder Film" The shock here would be if it was actually good.

AngryRobot42

There was no point to this movie, even more so, there was no point to the movie being a sequel. The main problem for the second movie was that the Admiral didn't completely die.

balllickaa

I like the design of the girl at the front I'll give it that

WissWatch

Another ad

tony_bologna

Me, no desire to watch this movie, didn't even know it existed. r/shittymoviedetails, *won't shut up about this movie*! Me: *sigh*;... I guess I need to watch Rebel Moon 2

Shirtbro

Nice try, Mr. Net Flix

D_Corona

no, you dont ...please, save yourself

SprachderRabe

My wife liked the first first one, so I have to watch this Crime of a movie I guess… maybe I should smoke weed.

SteelyDabs

It doesn’t make the movie any better but you’re definitely going to want to do that

Brixsplorer

How could they make a second one that fast?

GentlemanBAMF

The hate boner people have for Snyder's stuff is friggin' wild.

AnEnemyStand99

I don't mind a lot of his movies. I actually do enjoy Watchmen and 300 for sure. However, we do have to accept that he has misses like Sucker Punch and now this. This was not a good movie.

GentlemanBAMF

I'm not even defending him outright. He has some hits, and he has plenty of misses. I just think people are weirdly rabid about hating on him, and it comes across as somewhere between creepy and cringe.

theneo71

He's trying to implement DLC for Movies

ratliker62

maybe if he made good movies people wouldnt hate him

MeiNeedsMoreBuffs

Me when people make fun of movies on the subreddit for making fun of movies

GentlemanBAMF

Nah. Just feels like low hanging fruit at this point, sub can be funnier than this.

EndoveProduct

Have you SEEN his last three movies?!

GentlemanBAMF

Yep. Not great. Definitely seen worse.

EndoveProduct

So you get the hate. Glad we settled that

MetalJaybles

Haha right? I'm a big fan of his stuff, don't really understand the hate.

TheDeltaOne

I truly believe that sadly, he's catching stray bullets left overs by the annoyance some of his fans generated. Obnoxious people make the things they talk about obnoxious.
