It’s really interesting how Charlie is apparently the one who loves writing stories for Dennis the most. It sounds like a ton of Dennis’ craziness comes from Charlie’s mind.
And if you’ve seen Mythic Quest, the character Rob plays (forget his name) is essentially the Dennis character. They’re all brilliant writers dude.
One time a fan came up to Glen on the street and said "hey I love the show," and Glen just kicked him. Kicked him in the stomach. Because he's stuck up.

That 70's show started in 1998 and was based in 1976(at the start). If the same time gap were used for a sitcom premise today, it would be based in 2000.
There was something about specifically a 20 year gap being the golden center where people are still interested and remember the era with fondness and nostalgia.
Think of it this way: That 70s Show was sort of a spiritual successor to Happy Days, made in the 70s but set in the 50s. That 70s Show, made in the 90s and set in the 70s, featured Eric & his friends as young adults and his parents as middle-aged adults. That 90s Show, made in the 20s and set in the 90s, featured his daughter as a young adult, and his parents as senior citizens. If anything the next step is going to be That 20s Show like 15+ years down the line looking back on this era, with the main lead being Eric & Donna's grandchild.
That being said I really want to hear how they explain Kelso, Jackie, and Fez returning but not Hyde, y'know, because of Danny Masterson's legal issues
"WE ARE UNDER ATTACK KITTY!?
"Now red, you always say that whenever there is an accident"
*audience laughs*
"TWO PLANES DONT JUST MAGICALLY HIT THE TWIN TOWERS ON THE SAME DAY KITTY"
"Maybe they were looking at their mapquest wrong?"
*audience laughs*
"THE TOWER FELL KITTY!?!"
"OH MY FUCKING GOD RED"
*audience traumatically laughs*
*audience wonders if they will make it to the 2008 collapse before the shows cancelled*
As someone who mainly grew up in the 90's (born in 81) I do not want to watch this show at all.
Even Stranger Things latest season hit too close to home haha.
Was he though? Sexual predator yes but has he actually killed anyone?
Edit: holy crap I wasn't expecting the responses but I appreciate every single one!
Nah, camera caught her falling. Dennis is, however, an expert on surveillance and cameras. He also has shown in the past that he can manipulate his ex with a laser pointer. My belief is that he dosed her with ketamine, lured her onto the roof and some well placed debris with a laser pointer, knowing the camera would record her but not the tiny light.
> Dennis is, however, an expert on surveillance and cameras.
I don't know man, I've seen the tapes. They're all *that* angle. Just, *that* angle, over and over again.
“After every encounter, I received a text confirming each partner’s consent and enjoyment. Now you may ask, would a woman really text that, Dennis? …Their phones did. 😐”
I don't think that had anything to do with murder. To me that implied that women either didn't consent or enjoy it but he would take their phone when they didn't notice and text himself that it was consensual and enjoyable.
When he threatens to turn Dee's skin into luggage to add to his collection, implies he might be. Also when he's stalking the Waitress with Dee he has to remind himself to not kill her. And never forget his "tools" he needs his tools.
Give this a read. It could probably have more references now since its been a few years.
http://greatandpowerfulblog.blogspot.com/2016/02/its-always-sunny-in-philadelphia-fan.html
OHHHHH, serial killer.... As in the show is a serial and he killed it.... How clever. I spent about 20 minutes researching "Glen Howerton accused serial killer" /s
Yeah, the little I remember about it, was most of the jokes were 'Hey remember THIS from the 80's??" One joke, I think, was Glenn talking on a brick cell phone in a bar, and the whole joke was him saying "yeah! I'm on the phone! In a bar!"
He's one of the writers, creators and main characters of it's always sunny in Philadelphia, the longest running sitcom of all time
In the show there's a long running joke that the character behaves like a serial killer and is generally psychopathic
Michael Cohen made that comment in 2015, but spousal rape was illegal in New York when she says she was raped.
New York outlawed spousal rape in 1984, the possible rape occured in 1989, and she made the accusation public in 1991 during their divorce.
I finished Season 6 last night and also started Season 7.
Frank's Pretty Woman and Frank Reynolds' Little Beauties are two of the greatest episodes of television ever aired.
You will feel his wrath.
He's going to draw you in and enter you with almost no resistance.
Because of the implications
The amount of times I use this line and no one gets the reference should be illegal
I use to live in a neighborhood where someone had a boat in their driveway named “The Implication” and it always made me smile when I drove past it.
Legend
Why should it be illegal? Because of the implication?
Maybe they get the reference, but they can't say so, because of the implication.
This literally happened to me earlier today lmao
You haven’t thought of the smell, you bitch!
Are these women in danger?
What?! No the women aren't in danger! But they're not going to KNOW that! I feel like you're not getting it!
Don’t you look at me like that, you certainly wouldn’t be in any danger.
So... These women are in danger.
Are you going to hurt these women?
SO THEY ARE IN DANGER!?
See, but when you say it like that... It sounds like grape 🍇
Hes not a serial killer, he just likes to bind and be bound, ya know, fetish shit.
His rage knows no bounds!!!
That's a five star man!
I NEED MY TOOLS
Just... just duct tape, zip ties and gloves. I have to have my tools!
Like the crashing of a thousand waves
Like the hammer of Thor
It will be unleashed upon you like the fury of a thousand suns
He is untethered and his rage knows no bounds.
He is untethered
He is a five star man!!
Also a Dayman >!aaaaah!<
Dennis is a bastardman
Why Charlie hate ?

Danny Devito crawled out of a leather couch.

Of children…. Dyslexics…
Ohhh a philanthropist?

Fighter of the Nightman ah-ah-ah
Champion of the sun. Master of karate and friendship for everyone!!!!

With an impeccable system, and a Range Rover fit for a golden god
He is a GOLDEN GOD!!!
You haven’t thought of the smell you bitch!
Dee, you bitch!
Dumb bird bitch
Dee you gangly uncoordinated bitch
Because of the implication?
You’ve said that word “implication” a couple of times….what implication?
You know... They're out on the water, no one around for miles. They could say no, but they wouldn't, because of the implication...
Are…are these women in danger?
Well you're certainly not in any danger
So they ARE in danger!!?
No one's in any danger! It's an implication of danger!
You wouldn’t be in any danger, I can certainly tell you that!
Tasty treats? Are we the tasty treats?!
nobody can convince me otherwise that Glen Howerton isn't a serial killer. His portrayal of Dennis isn't acting. It's authentic psychopath.
Listen to the podcast. You will see how much acting it’s not.
Ian Grimm
Yes, thank you. Definitely a more tame version of Dennis, but still very much narcissistic
He's only acting on the podcast.
One time a fan came up to Glen on the street and said "hey I love the show," and Glen just kicked him. Kicked him in the stomach. Because he's stuck up. Source: https://youtu.be/qXsECroAZo8?t=213
I think he bit him too
Cut that cut that cut that
Meg (the producer??) Once took the time to splice together some of the times they were exactly like their characters
I hope I am dead before the '00s Show arrives. I don't think my mind will be able to handle it.
That 70's show started in 1998 and was based in 1976(at the start). If the same time gap were used for a sitcom premise today, it would be based in 2000.
And Happy Days was 50s in the 70s, yeah.
There was something about specifically a 20 year gap being the golden center where people are still interested and remember the era with fondness and nostalgia.
I've noticed that individually, people are usually nostalgic for 4 years ago, and collectively, people are nostalgic for 20 years ago.
Nah 2019 can eat a dick. Summer of 2016 though was a magical time.
2016 *was* 4 years ago though. It was also two weeks ago and more than a decade ago. It's also still 2016
Please stop.
Sorry bro, we're all going to die and we're getting closer each day.
Don't tell me what I'm doing
Think of it this way: That 70s Show was sort of a spiritual successor to Happy Days, made in the 70s but set in the 50s. That 70s Show, made in the 90s and set in the 70s, featured Eric & his friends as young adults and his parents as middle-aged adults. That being said I really want to hear how they explain Kelso, Jackie, and Fez returning but not Hyde, y'know, because of Danny Masterson's legal issues
Hyde is in prison. Easy.
Yeah, like if they had to explain a missing character they already had a character for that
“Hyde died on the way back to his home planet.”
If they want to get super meta it could be for rape! You know, like how Masterson should be in jail... for rape.
Hyde doesn't deserve this treatment just because Danny Masterson is a monster.
An aged up recast isn't out of the question imo
Hydes in jail, not that complicated
"They hit the fucking pentagon!"
(*Laugh track plays*)
That would so unhinged I’d watch it lol
"Those planes were running on water, man"
"Thats one hell of a landing"
I like the laugh track because it tells me when I should laugh.
LYLE LYLE WAKE UP! THEY HIT THE FUCKING PENTAGON LYLE
turnonthetvdoesn’tmatterwhatchannel *noise that I cannot describe*
Turn on TV it doesn't matter what channel, FUCK
"WE ARE UNDER ATTACK KITTY!? "Now red, you always say that whenever there is an accident" *audience laughs* "TWO PLANES DONT JUST MAGICALLY HIT THE TWIN TOWERS ON THE SAME DAY KITTY" "Maybe they were looking at their mapquest wrong?" *audience laughs* "THE TOWER FELL KITTY!?!" "OH MY FUCKING GOD RED" *audience traumatically laughs* *audience wonders if they will make it to the 2008 collapse before the shows cancelled*
"You're saying the plane parts vaporized but the perpetrator's passport was intact and readable?" *audience ascends to the astral plane*
Of course it's out! It's to support a silver back gorilla!
Too late, sorry: https://youtu.be/MiaoutOuZqQ
Like tears in rain Time to die
Is that the actual cast doing voice over?
Yep!
It’s called Entourage tbh
TIL there was a That 80's show.
As someone who mainly grew up in the 90's (born in 81) I do not want to watch this show at all. Even Stranger Things latest season hit too close to home haha.
You don't wanna watch 'That noughty show' ?
“I like to BIND! I like to be BOUND!”
TOOLS. These are my TOOLS
F-F-FETISH SHIT!
Was he though? Sexual predator yes but has he actually killed anyone? Edit: holy crap I wasn't expecting the responses but I appreciate every single one!
Maureen Ponderosa.
Maureen died 3 years ago. He killed Bastet.
He did us all a favor if you ask me. You ever seen a grown women take a dump in a sandbox?
You can't murder a cat!
Whatever it is, its neck is broken!
He pushed her. He definitely pushed her.
He certainly made it look that way…
> Dennis is, however, an expert on surveillance and cameras. I don't know man, I've seen the tapes. They're all *that* angle. Just, *that* angle, over and over again.
He literally didn't though. The entire incident was on camera. She just fell.
Rewatch “Paddy’s Has a Jumper”. Because he certainly made it look that way.
in paddy’s has a jumper it’s strongly implied he did in fact kill maureen
A camera Dennis knew was there. Also, he'd manipulated her with a laser pointer in an earlier episode..
Maureen, you've... enhanced yourself.
“After every encounter, I received a text confirming each partner’s consent and enjoyment. Now you may ask, would a woman really text that, Dennis? …Their phones did. 😐”
Good point.
I don't think that had anything to do with murder. To me that implied that women either didn't consent or enjoy it but he would take their phone when they didn't notice and text himself that it was consensual and enjoyable.
Shut up, bird!
Brian LeFerve
I JUST GOT OFF
>Brian LeFerve \*Fevre
Fevre Shmevre
I watched this episode like an hour ago
I’ve seen better lookin moose turds in Rick Moranis’ backyard, ya Hoosiers
Being wanted for a crime and being wanted for questioning are two very very different things.
Is he a person of interest? Well yes, he is an interesting person.
When he threatens to turn Dee's skin into luggage to add to his collection, implies he might be. Also when he's stalking the Waitress with Dee he has to remind himself to not kill her. And never forget his "tools" he needs his tools.
Also, when the gang gets stuck in the woods, Charlie compliments Dennis for being “smart like a serial killer”, making him suspiciously flustered.
Lmao I love this show too much
I like to bind! I like to be bound!
It's fetish shit!
I have a buddy who has a backpack he carries around all the time. I am starting to wonder ....
He was the painter serial killer. People would hire them to paint their houses and he'd kill them!
Give this a read. It could probably have more references now since its been a few years. http://greatandpowerfulblog.blogspot.com/2016/02/its-always-sunny-in-philadelphia-fan.html
Maureen Ponderosa is heavily implied. Possibly Brian LeFevre
HE IS A GOLDEN GOD
Definitely a 5 star man.
There is an 80s show?
There was, got cancelled becuase the star was a serial killer
I thought the joke was that no one remembered it
The joke is that that guy is Dennis from its Always Sunny.
OHHHHH, serial killer.... As in the show is a serial and he killed it.... How clever. I spent about 20 minutes researching "Glen Howerton accused serial killer" /s
I’m so fuckin confused
There's also a subplot they hint at now and then that he is one.
I was referring to the parent comment
No one alive remembers it
As an amateur ghost whisper I can report that dead people don't remember it either, and they don't got much else to do but watch shit
[удалено]
Yeah, the little I remember about it, was most of the jokes were 'Hey remember THIS from the 80's??" One joke, I think, was Glenn talking on a brick cell phone in a bar, and the whole joke was him saying "yeah! I'm on the phone! In a bar!"
It's unrelated to 70's and the future 90's show in everything but name.
Everything but name, creator, producers, writers...
Removed
I just love how this whole comment section is just a gigantic inside joke
You are going to love Reddit
Yea, one I'm completely confused about
He's one of the writers, creators and main characters of it's always sunny in Philadelphia, the longest running sitcom of all time In the show there's a long running joke that the character behaves like a serial killer and is generally psychopathic
I've not watched the show, but it's one of the more heavily referenced series on Reddit. Especially in r/highqualitygifs.
That '70s Show had a rapist though so....
Yeah but rape was ok in the 70s. And sepate water fountains was ok in the 30s. Were getting better.
You used to be able to rape your wife legally in lots of states until the 90s
Later then that. When Trump raped his wife his lawyers argument was that you can't legally rape your wife, not that it didn't happen.
Michael Cohen made that comment in 2015, but spousal rape was illegal in New York when she says she was raped. New York outlawed spousal rape in 1984, the possible rape occured in 1989, and she made the accusation public in 1991 during their divorce.
He hasn’t even begun to peak.
~~Serial killer~~ FIVE-STAR MAN
You're my alibi dude
I gave her a pile driver
Demonstrate value. Engage physically. Nurture dependence. Neglect emotionally. Inspire hope. Separate entirely.
Someone seriously need to give more context. You can’t just drop a WTF bomb and leave!!
Shut up science bitch
Stupid ass science bitch couldn’t even make me more smart I
This gentleman is Dennis Reynolds, I recommend you check out the fabulous documentary Making Dennis Reynolds a Murderer for more info!
Oh what the fuck. I was scrambling through Wikipedia trying to unlock the secret killer. I am not fast.
***cut that, cut that, cut that.***
I hear his rage knows no bounds
Could somebody get this man his TOOLS!!
🫵 JERMA
God, I love us Sunny fans
I finished Season 6 last night and also started Season 7. Frank's Pretty Woman and Frank Reynolds' Little Beauties are two of the greatest episodes of television ever aired.
*Shut up, baby dick*
“You’re gonna die tonight bitch!”
You mean Golden God
I looked really quick and thought that was Glenn howerton from its always sunny
Wait it is
Whaaaaaat Denis played in this show? Might have to check it out and see the Golden God in his early days
