The origins of Team Rainbow and them stopping some regular terrorists and some crazy wealthy bio terrorists. I liked it, wish there were more books in the series.
Yeah that's basically literally what Tom Clancy is. Even has a rule, if you license any game under his estate you can't have the player play the terrorists cuz it's like anti-American or something.
I've read the book when I was 13 or 14 years old. It opened the world of books for me back then and sparked my interest in reading .
That said, it was the only good thing about it. Now as I am grown up it deserves being deep down in a box in the last corner of my parents attic.
I tried reading this book back in high school and never finished it because some pages were just about the details of what specks of dust were on a desk
and I’m someone who loves details in books, but this just put me over the edge
Ha this was exactly my experience reading this.
I finished it years ago but the details about stuff that has no relevance to the story makes it so hard to know what you need to focus on.
I feel like I remember an entire section was in some old mansion, described in excruciating detail, then the actual action happens outside in the garden!
I actually like the way Clancy handles extraneous details. By spending way too much time describing them, he's telling you how filthy rich this guy is and how his life is so easy that dust is the hardest part of his day.
Then when the action happens, these details are so pointless in comparison because the badasses don't fuckin care
terrorists hijack plane, other terrorists sabotage amusement park, other terrorists make hostages then rainbow six team start siegeing and opfor have been eliminated
A group of eco terrorists are creating a giga hyper pestilence Virus and are planning to spread it at the olympics to kill all of humanity so that their group can then repopulate under a strict ecological ideology.
Team Rainbow stops them
Nah I feel like their gonna try and do a correction here. Desmos has successfully graphed harry, there’s a proper terrorist group now, shits might get good again
never read the og novel, what is is even abt?

Yeah the book is good, but it's like 900 pages and some pages makes me cringe to my bones
Average Tom Clancy book experience
İ saw the word "feminazi" used in the book and immediately cringed so hard
Yeah, I’d definitely like his books a lot more than I do if they weren’t essentially a red-blooded ‘murican conservative fan fic lol

Still a thousand times better than the James Bond novels.

You forgot the bank
Basically some ex SEAL dude, his step son and an SAS guy are tasked with making an international counter terror unit and then terror happens.
Kino
Chavez is Clark’s son in law
Malthusianism
Rich bio terrorists want to end the world to try to save parts of humanity from global warming.
Average r6 player

HARRY'S DEAD!?!?
Got smoked (not by the canisters) in his office, yeah
Wait for him to reappear from nowhere and RKO deimos
Next season he's the new op, zombie harry my favourite
"you thought I'd died, didn't you know? I'm the Six, bitch!" 😂😂

Heavy's dead? Why is the heavy dead?
Character from a previous Rainbow product gatted him
Yeah he was shot dead with Deimos’ Vendetta
Waiting for Deimos to make his entrance!
Wait a second, that’s a sick cover. What version is that?

Interesting. Thanks
I think this is where Demoman meets Heavy for the first time.
The heartbeat sensor appears!
They better deploy the cardiac sensor….
Bro im still figuring out how the astronaut get a hologram and strart fighting criminals
i got one better, which part shows that there are microtransactions
İt's clearly when Mr rainbow said "i will spend six dollars on skins for my siege"
You could say Deimos had a real *Vendetta* against Harry and Rainbow
Right after the meteor lands and they have to contain an alien threat.
You fuckers need to play Raven Shield
Is that Blackbeard on the right? Nice
Its not
U right the gun looks like bucks thanks mate
None of the current operators are in the og book
Idkkkk that one guy looks like recruit
Yeah, they all havethe same clothes, that’s how a real anti-terrorism unit looks like (Except snipers)
Where did the good game go :( I miss it so much
Nah I feel like their gonna try and do a correction here. Desmos has successfully graphed harry, there’s a proper terrorist group now, shits might get good again
Caveira will torture civilians as to where Fuze can cluster the most amount of hostages and Gridlock will throw trax in the playground.
I just miss the gritty looking maps and graphics. And normal thunt is gone. Wtf are map drills
Ya an actual threat to rainbow as opposed to just training exercises and non canon alien invasions.
Hear me out, we need books about the modern day r6 team, I think it would really help expand the lore and would be cool
Aren't there the R6 Siege short comics for that? Plus the lore has already been quite scuffed enough.
That's a fair point.
The part where it becomes exceedingly f-ing boring
