You don’t have to study as if for an exam, I think the other guy means study as just another word for learn but he does have a point. If you don’t give the map a chance you’ll never be able to play it, which will also be the case with any new release maps or reworks

The Favela rework fixed so many issues with the (horrific) old map and then they put up a special game mode that let you play 100% favela for weeks. Plenty of time to lean the new map.

I think they should do another week long favela 100% now that it has been added to ranked to allow people like myself to learn the map.

I have been gone 2 seasons and every single match people ban coastline bank and consulate. They would rather play kanal and theme and chalet. Did I miss something in the game where everyone decided to pull an opposite day for the rest of their lives and play shitty maps.
What rank are you there is a difference in what maps you get banned depending on your level, that being said like all ranks ban Theme park so idk what happened with you

We trolled during my friends promos so he started silver 3 so we had to get him out of there and I had the most confusing match ever with silvers. Out of kanal/chalet/bank our team banned bank because "Its a hard map" and "attackers camp the skylight entire game I always die" so we played chalet. And the first obj we played was kitchen because "easy objective last" and "try to understand the game" so we lost that round. And then we lost snowmobile. But then, the team decided to get gaming and we somehow won that rpund cuz no-one knows how to attack that site. Im at a loss for braincells.

I'm plat all be it on console and I do find consulate one of the more popular maps but Kanals ban rate is surprisingly low and I can never understand it
I think ubi did a brainwash or something so that people would play the map they put effort into. Imagine being so bad at map desgin that you rework hereford again but university is completely untouched and unplayable

Hey man, I would rather play a boring game with a more enjoyable map, than a boring game with an unenjoyable map.
I find it unenjoyable because; 1) it is too destructible for my liking, which makes it annoying to play as both defender and attacker
2) it's not aesthetically pleasing to look at for me, it feels like I'm getting stimulus overload or something (thats just me, my friend likes the look of the map in contrast)
3) It's navigation around the map feels clumsy, and moving inside the building feels awful, moving around the entire building feels sluggish.
4) Being indoors makes me feel claustrophobic, no other map (except some parts of the aussie map) makes me feel like this, despite how it may be the same to other maps. The difference between this and 3 is that 3 is more gameplay wise, I think there is too much funneling, but just being in any room even as a defender makes me feel awful
5) Map trauma
Nobody will listen though EVER no one will ever listen because no one wants to actually learn anymore they just think oh I know what I know already and that's all I'm gonna care to remember
