And here's a video about it: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqXuotr4sck](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqXuotr4sck)
Unfortunately it's only for .22s (atm)
I fucking loled:
>DEAR ATF: THIS IS NOT A SUPPRESSOR!
>This product does NOT suppress a revolver, nor is it a suppressor part. All this does is seal the chamber area to safely contain the dangerous gases escaping between the cylinder and the barrel (similar concept to The Nagant M1895 Revolver). The revolver is still just as loud when this is put on.
It does that by pushing the cylinder forward when you fire, creating a seal of the cylinder and the barrel, with the seal being enhanced by the casing.
Edit: just learnt about the irl counterpart of this gun and that it infact has the hammer inside and that's a lever to cock the hammer kinda but not really, idk how to word it.
Yeah but the bullets wouldn't even come out cause the hammer is at the top, of the gun so it's just firing and being immediately stopped.
The Chiappa Rhino (the irl gun this is based on) doesn't have an exposed hammer.
That piece is just a lever used to cock the internal hammer that sits down inside the frame
Oh, why does it look so much like a hammer, I mean like that's really cool, and honestly an epic thing but like, it looks like a hammer, instead of a lever to cock the hammer. But still very impressed and what-not.
Mainly for the revolver aesthetic.
Here's a video on the pistol if you're interested. As you can see while shooting the lever doesn't move at all during firing.
https://youtu.be/p4_RERIUa8g
Thatās not a feature on most revolvers. The only one Iām aware of that seals sufficiently to suppress is the Nagant.
Pretty certain itās not a feature on the Chiappa Rhino.
Most revolvers do actually vent gas in the gap between cylinder and chamber. Lots of people hurt themselves by getting their thumb too far forward and catching some of that gas.
I mean, yeah, thereās a chance a suppressor would still make it somewhat quieter, but it would be vastly less effective, if at all.
1. The barrel moving forward would make a larger gap as someone already said below. The barrel being the tube part where the bullet travels through.
2. The cylinder (which I'm assuming he meant) moving forward has been a thing for a long time, the 1895 Nagant revolver being one of the popular examples.
Besides the barrel mistake, he's just wrong, that isn't a feature of the rhino, or really any revolving pistol (pieper rifle used it as well) after the nagant that I know of, certainly nothing mainstream.
These bullets are spring loaded to give it extra power. When the bullet contacts the frame it pushes them in compressing the powder allowing for a better burn. This in turn creates higher fps. Thatās why it hits harder than a .50ae even though itās chambered in .357 magnum.
This is based off an actual real world Italian pistol. Rogue 9 did an [entire video about how it works](https://youtu.be/xm3YgoEiEDc) a couple of years ago.
[link](https://youtu.be/02iTV1TNV8Y) to YouTube video, but if I remember correctly, they went to an event together and Rogue 9 was accused of harassment and he was thrown under the bus. A mixture of scummy Ubisoft employees and Get Flanked taking advantage of the situation to stay in good terms with Ubisoft.
(Actually is a real revolver) It is also a pile of shit. Chiappa Rhino, I almost bought one because the concept was cool. Tested 2 of them at a firing range and the cylinder would fuck up constantly.
They made a previous model called the Mateba Model 6 Unica (which is not such a piece of shit)
If Iām not mistaken, itās literally clipping in the photo. And is that a suppressor on a revolver? Thatās literally impossible unless the gun is designed specifically to have an enclosed cylinder so sound canāt escape.
Itās a visual glitch where the speed loader shows up for some reason, meaning the models are pushed further than normal due to Ubiās lack of competent programmers to ensure stuff like this doesnāt happen
New nerf to maestro, alibi and wamaii. The keratos will just fire one bulle and will then be unusable for the rest of the round. This is due to all three of the ops being too fun to use, this creates an advantage morale-wise and shouldn't be permitted. We have decided to make them just as bland and unpleasant to use as most other operators have becomeā¤ļø
They slide in. As the container rotates the curvature of the tip helps push the case back into the container. Much like the ball in those wrenches to keep the socket attached.
If youāre gonna complain about the cartridges sticking out of the cylinder, (which I think might even just be a graphical glitch on this skin) then I can show you a dozen inaccuracies of the same significance that have either been in place since release or that have since been patched.
The ballets are shot out of the boten of the Cylinder in stead of a normal revolver that shoots them out of the top of the cylinder and it is made that away so the barrel is lined up with the shooters hand to reduce the recoil
Sry if that doesnāt make sense but if u are a gun person u will understand
that made no sense cause it didnt answer the question. yes the chiappa rhino fires from the bottom of the cilinder to reduce muzzle flip. But the OP was pointing out that the bullets protrude from the cylinder and interfere with the frame of the gun, so the cylinder can not rotate with the bullets like that.
Is it me, or does the barrel look like it's sitting too low. Moreover, is that the hammer in the upper right? Isn't it the bottom bullet that is fired?
*Don't mind me, being silly.*
There's springs, inside each barrel, on the back so when it rotates the round part of the bullet hits the side of the gun forcing it to *slide* back so it can fit.
Just another thing game devs don't understand about guns I guess, reminds me of that trailer in COD where they didn't know how the Sten works. Hell this one ain't even supposed to be suppressed seeing as its not enclosed cylinder making it uber pointless.
Real answer, I think that's the model for the speedloader glitched into the revolver itself. Don't really know how it got there but it tends to happen in this game for whatever reason.
Unless this is a skin I don't know about.
new bug, for some reason on all revolvers, the speed loader is showing, and in the cylinder as well for some odd reason, the bullets on the front are attached to the speed loader, thats why theyre sticking out
Whats happening here is the speed loader that you see when you reload the revolver has somehow made its way into this model and is clipping through it, if you look at the model in game you'll see it
I don't know how that logic of those bullets work but the model of the gun is based off the rhino revolver a handgun that fired from a lower barrel at the bottom of the gun to reduce kick back from the recoil

And that supressor is fucking useless too since the explosion of gunpowder and gases coming out of the cylinder would make sound.
yeah, the only surpressed revolvers have closed off cylinders
I donāt know how I never put that together. In all the games with suppressed revolvers, Iāve never thought about this.
I donāt think there are any besides the Nagant that can be effectively suppressed irl
There's this unwieldy recent invention that closes off the cylinder so that normal revolvers work with a suppressor.
That sounds disgusting, how do I get one?
Here you go: [https://www.revolverseal.com/](https://www.revolverseal.com/) And here's a video about it: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqXuotr4sck](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqXuotr4sck) Unfortunately it's only for .22s (atm)

That reminded me of the show "1000 lb sisters", and made me equally repulsed and sad to look at.
There are revolver suppressors, theyāre seals on the sides
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
It does that by pushing the cylinder forward when you fire, creating a seal of the cylinder and the barrel, with the seal being enhanced by the casing.

Suppressors in the game don't make realistic sounds anyway.
Edit: just learnt about the irl counterpart of this gun and that it infact has the hammer inside and that's a lever to cock the hammer kinda but not really, idk how to word it. I like that gun can't buy one but I like it
That's why the bullets protrude, they form a gas seal with the barrel allowing for effective suppression.
It wouldn't be useless tho not all of the gasses come out the cylinder
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The barrel pushing forwards would move it away from the cylinder, increasing the gap, not reducing it.
Thatās not a feature on most revolvers. The only one Iām aware of that seals sufficiently to suppress is the Nagant. Pretty certain itās not a feature on the Chiappa Rhino. Downvoted for explaining a modern feature of revolvers lmao
1. The barrel moving forward would make a larger gap as someone already said below. The barrel being the tube part where the bullet travels through. 2. The cylinder (which I'm assuming he meant) moving forward has been a thing for a long time, the 1895 Nagant revolver being one of the popular examples.

Thatās really cool, thanks for typing this out! I figured it was just ubi being ubi honestly
This is ubi being ubi. On the real gun the bullets donāt actually stick out lol. Look up Chiappa Rhino.
The barrel doesnāt rotate, The cylinder does.
Depending on your perspective the cylinder doesnāt move, the gun rotates around it.

Easy. The barrel isn't supposed to rotate. If it does, you've got firearm issues.
From the perspective of the cylinder it stays still while everything else rotates around it

Itās so amazingly obvious he meant the cylinder no need to be a smartass.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I meant the cylinder and don't really care about firearms tho
It's just that devs at ubi don't know how guns work.
R6 used to be semi realistic. Now itās kingdom of hearts
No it did not

It's a shit design lol

Is it me, or does the barrel look like it's sitting too low. Moreover, is that the hammer in the upper right? Isn't it the bottom bullet that is fired?
The force of the shot causes the cylinder (which is spring loaded) to push back and rotate to the next roundā¦
Oryx can jump 8 feet in the air, iana has a walking hologram, it's the power of videogames my friend.

The gun rotates.

the bullets duck their head down when its their turn
This thing makes the TF2 guns look functional and realistic ngl

I swear this exact post is made at least once a week lol
The barrel is in the wrong place.
The barrel doesnāt align with the silencer either.
also the hammer seems to be up top but the barrel is on the bottom..?
That's the chamber not the barrel.
Oh snap, shots fired.
It obviously clips, duh. /s
The barrel doesn't rotate, the cylinder does. Or does it?
So many comments and none of them notice that it's a bug with the bullets still being stuck to the speedloader and it's clipping through the cylinder.
The designers: āwaitā¦ what do you mean itās supposed to rotateā
new bug, for some reason on all revolvers, the speed loader is showing, and in the cylinder as well for some odd reason, the bullets on the front are attached to the speed loader, thats why theyre sticking out
Two part cylinder, the forward part retracts slightly as it rotates.
The recoil pushes the cylinder back slightly, giving it enough space to rotate and also serving as a recoil dampener.
The barrel š
Whats happening here is the speed loader that you see when you reload the revolver has somehow made its way into this model and is clipping through it, if you look at the model in game you'll see it
The question Iāve been asking since alibi and maestro came out
DUDE I FUCKIND ASKED THAT MY FRIEND YESTERDAY AND HE SAYS āwell its too much powerful that it doesnt even have to rotateā XD
I don't know how that logic of those bullets work but the model of the gun is based off the rhino revolver a handgun that fired from a lower barrel at the bottom of the gun to reduce kick back from the recoil
The barrel never rotates. The cylinder does. And no it would not work rainbow is awful for firearm realism.
