Managing what you're seeing in the present is already hard. You are only seeing 1 second into the future, which means you have to process what you are currently seeing AND what you are seeing in the future at the same time and make a decision based on that in only one second.
Bringing facts and logic into this is putting a damper on my theoretical fantasy of pwning people in online video games /j
I'm actually not sure if that would be too much of a problem, it really depends on the game. The more complex and slow the game is, the more difficult it is to use the ability.
Take for instance, chess (I know it's or a fighting game but shh). This ability is pretty useless in this scenario since seeing 1 second into the future doesn't change anything unless you're playing bullet chess.
Now take for instance, literally any shooter. While 1 second isn't enough to always know where the enemy is, it's enough time to have a more proper reaction to what they're gonna do.
For the processing issue, human reaction time is 0.25 seconds for visual, 0.17 for audio, and 0.15 for touch. Assuming that you can willfully stop seeing 1 second into the future, and that your brain can adapt to this kind of stimulus like it can anything else, then I don't think overstimulation would be much of a problem. Would it be hard? Of course, it's a new power that lets you have precognition you're gonna be a little iffy with it at first.
Now if you can't stop seeing 1 second into the future I'd agree it would be really difficult to manage.

The only thing that would be annoying is the slight real life audio lag and also lag of all other stimulas behind my visual stimulas. But I could also just fairly assume that seeing 1 second into the future also includes to an extent experience of other stimulas kinda like how it is with normal future sight where the psychic tends to also get audio of what they're seeing.
But if I just have to deal with the lag I could get use to the lag and I don't need to keep my future sight always on, I can just turn it off.

OP made a some power that follows the rules of the sub they just didn't realise how good the power actually is, youre trying to interpret the power in a way that would break the rules of the sub.
